About: I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I have a long history of in house pet sitting over the last 15 years as well as caring for my own. I feel comfortable with puppies, older dogs, giving medicine and exercising hyper dogs. I have 15 year old super mutt (junkyard dog as we like to say) and a 1.5 year old chocolate lab who are both well socialized and love all dogs. I have an extremely flexible schedule currently. Id love to be walking any dogs during the work day so they are nice and rested when you get home! My pets are beyond spoiled. But I wouldn't have it any other way! I love all dogs and will treat yours like my own! I like to maintain routines for pets and make sure they have a good balance of stimulation and rest.

About: Retired from workforce, former military, active person, daily walks with our dogs—neighborhood, parks, trails. Worked with certified dog trainer for our two dogs. Time on my hands. I am retired and have plenty of time when not playing with our own two dogs and exercising. They are the center of our lives. We have a fenced in back yard for our dogs. Since I am retired, and my wife works part time, I spend most of my time with our dogs. We will not bring client’s pets to our home nor will my wife be a caretaker.

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was young. I would get paid to walk dogs and to check on cats and fish. I love hanging out with all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I just graduated from Wake Forest University, where I played volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. Cats, I am also available to do whatever is helpful and needed! I have my own space with no other animals!

About: I have a dog and 2 cats at home and have taken care of many animals throughout my life. I am also a student athlete and love taking dogs for walks or even runs if they are capable! I feed my pets and take care of them every day so it is pretty much engraved into my routine. I also walk and play with my dog everyday which brings me a lot of joy! About: I grew up with two dogs in my house, a pug and an English lab. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. About: I have been pet sitting for roughly 10 years. It started when I was young just caring for my friends dogs and cats when they went out of town but has evolved into a small client base that I want to expand. I have cared for mostly senor dogs, providing them with medication as it was prescribed, ensuring they were safe when outside, and updating owners on any changes in behavior and physical condition. Recently I have gotten my own dog who is now three years old and that is the most experience I had with puppies but I do know quite a bit about training and am willing to care for young dogs as well. Because she is my own dog, she must be able to come with me to overnight stays, she is very friendly with dogs, cats, and even horses!. I love dogs with all my heart and grew up with them in the house. I don't have any cats in my family but I do know how important they are to their family and I love to take care of the cats I have taken care of in the past. I truly believe our pets are part of the family and deserve care and comfort when their humans are away. I am a full time student currently so I don't have the most time in the world but I am more than happy to take a break from school work to play and walk with pets and then maybe hang out together while I study before their dinnertime! I like to get a rough idea of the pets typical schedule and stick as close to that as possible, making sure everyone is fed on time, walked when walks are needed, and generally keeping them on the same schedule they are used to! I have found this to be the best option as it gives the pets a sense of normalcy in their routine while the family is away.

About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. About: Throughout middle and high school I was a local dog sitter to several different families in my neighborhood. Now, I spend my time volunteering at the local animal shelter or pet sitting. I currently am in graduate school at Appalachian State. I am only in class Monday and Tuesdays and the rest of the week I work part time at a school. I’m able to come home in between classes to spend time with pets and let them outside. I care for pets like I would my own! About: Hi! My name is Jade and I am an avid dog enthusiast and college student. I currently own a 1 year old Australian Shepherd and boy oh boy does he have energy. Before him I had another Aussie (female) who acquired cancer around 7-8years old, because of this I have sadly become very skilled with working with sick/hurting dogs. I also love to train dogs, my current Aussie has a Novice Trick Dog title from AKC and we are working on his intermediate title while learning Conformation skills and Therapy dog skills. I am very patient with the pups and am a big believer in positive reinforcement. My Aussie is registered and I am very good friends with his breeder who is very knowledgeable in this field and is always happy to lend a hand.
