“Taylor was new to our two cats. Even though they were shy, she stayed to help them meet a new person. Taylor was very thoughtful to check the house for safety as well. I would definitely book Taylor again!”

“McKenna is an absolute gem!! She is very diligent in sending us photos and updates and I always feel like she treats our cats as if they were her own. I would highly recommend working with McKenna!”

“Alyson stopped in each day to feed and spend a little time with our 4 month old cat, Luna. As new cat owners, we were very apprehensive leaving someone to take care of her. Alyson was the perfect choice and we will definitely be using her again!!”

“Kathleen is hands down the best dog sitter! We felt so at ease leaving him with her for the day. Sampson had the BEST day and was the happiest pup when we came home. Thank you for taking such good care of him. :)”

“Sophia was fantastic with my pup, DaVinci the other day. She’s super responsible and took excellent care of my pride and joy. I feel very comfortable with leaving him with her and highly recommend her!”

“Keri is great—friendly, professional, and you can tell she really loves animals. We trust her completely to care for our 3 cats while we’re gone. What more could you ask for?”

About: I’ve dog sat on numerous occasions for friends and family with dogs. I’ve sat bigger dogs, smaller dogs. Older and younger. I love dogs and their kisses and loves. I love playing with them and help getting exercise or just cuddles in. I do work but I can be flexible to help care for needs of the pets. I will always check in and keep open communication to ease anyone’s mind on their pets check ins. I will always make sure the fur baby feels comfortable in their home, as I will just be a guest in it. I will give them the care and love they need though.
About: Working in various Grooming/Training facilities. I'm currently working with Bumblebee Pet Care with 5 of my own clients. My conversations with the pets are amazing. I'm currently walking dogs 2 days out of the week looking for more to work with within the week. I have an open schedule and interested. I have separate spaces available for each animal. In my care at anytime, I will use provided equipment for transportation. Your pet safety is number one.
About: I have been a volunteer at the Berkshire Humane Society for about 6 months now working within the kennel and have been trusted with friends and family's dogs throughout my life! I have personally trained both of my large breed pups and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs! <3 I currently work part-time from Fri-Sun so I have full availability throughout the week to play with your pup(s)! I will always find the best time and place to give your pets what they need. I am not able to bring pets to my apartment, but will gladly give them all the care and attention they need in their home, or out and about!
About: I have always lived in household with a minimum of 3 dogs, dogs have been my companions before I could walk. Now I’m always with my service dog, Winnie. I worked with a program to train my own service dog. He’s a friendly little golden retriever, and a fast friend. During his training I learned the importance of trust routine, and patience with dogs. I’m currently working part time from 7:30 to 2 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and 10-3 on Saturdays. I am always up for hiking or a short walk with dogs. I have a service dog who comes with me everywhere, he’s a gentle and easy friend, and generally good with other dogs. He’s just as happy to play as he is to nap.

About: My family owns and operates a Labrador breeding business and kennel, located in a small slice of heaven in the hill towns. I have been living, breathing, and loving dogs for my entire life and find immense joy simply being around them! I have several years of experience at a boarding facility where I was able to expand my knowledge on any different breed, size, age, temperament and disabilities! I am comfortable with all dogs at any life stages, ranging from a few hours old to sweet elderlies. I am also able to react quickly to any situation and have a solid history of preventing and intervening real fights safely between several dogs. I am available at you and your pets desire! I am able to stay in home and/or overnight, or simply check in! My car is my main way of travel, and has safely transported many pups to their playdates! Care in my clients home includes purely love and sticking to the routine that your pet knows the best! My client will also receive the utmost amount of reassurance and open communication because I understand on a personal level how difficult it is to leave your baby in someone else's hands.
About: I grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats. My family was part of helping a farm when i was little, I got to take care of ducks. They were so cute. I love animals and let me know if you had questions. I work at Marshall’s. I will be taking care of the animals during my days off. I will make sure they have everything they need I grew up with cats and dogs. I love all kinds of animals. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for about five years now and I have a lot of experience. I’ve worked anywhere from doggy daycare‘s to overnights to boarding dogs in my own home. I’ve always considered myself an animal person and I just love to care for them. I’m currently in cosmetology school so Monday through Friday, I’m in School from 9 o’clock until 430. After that, I plan to stay where I’m dog sitting for so that they get the most love and attention when I am able to be there. I really like to take it on the owners terms. I always prefer to meet the animal I’m caring for first however, if that’s not possible then it’s totally fine, however I like to listen to what the animal tells me, what boundaries it’s giving me, but I love to be able to play with them take them outside as much as possible feed them when necessary and give extra treats because they’re such good babies. I just appreciate the owners letting me know what they do and don’t want from me as a host.
About: I've taken care of animals since I was a young child. I have always felt love and responsibility to our animal friends. I worked with cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, horses, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I want to fill my days with helping wonderful pet parents provide the attention and care their pets deserve. I have multiple dog walks daily and will make sure your pet gets lots of love too. I am able to stay away from home for periods of time while my family helps care for my animals and home. I have 2 separate unoccupied bedrooms to allow for private space for animals. I live across from springside park and have a mostly fenced yard with leads. I'm dedicated to pet care. I have daily walks generally in the mid-afternoon. I have online meetings Wednesday and Saturday which I can attend in your home, mine or anywhere with internet access. I have separate spaces available for each animal in my care at any time. I will use provided equipment for transportation. Your pets safety is number one.
“Becca is very reliable and wonderful. We are ever so grateful to have her. We get lots of photos and details on her drop ins and she spends quality time while she’s caring for our dog, Emma.”

“Emily was great! I scheduled last minute and she came over for a meet and greet the day before I went away. She totally understood the sometimes tricky dynamic of my pups and went above and beyond when she came over. Communication was great, and got a full report with pics after her drop-in. I would definitely hire her again…. And plan on it!”

- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
