“Good communication. Willingness to do a meet and greet and house sit on short notice was a life saver. Rachel and family seem to really love pets and get to know their personalities. Our animals were all happy when we came home.”

“Allison is a pro. She was fantastic with communication and was very detail-oriented. We have a 10-page manual about our dogs/house, and she read the whole thing and even asked about a discrepancy she noticed! She showed up when she said she would, on time, and she did a great job getting our persnickety dogs to take their meds. The house was well in order when we got home, which is so nice and not always the case with other sitters. She sent pics and updates consistently too, which was much appreciated!”

“Sophia took excellent care of Tiffany while I was out of town for a few days. I keep rebooking her because when I come home, Tiffany is happy and stress free. Sophia follows the instructions I leave for Tiffany’s medicine and routine perfectly and I know I can trust her with Tiffany and my home.”

About: I worked throughout high school at a humane society, focusing on puppy and adult dog care, also writing grants for the foundation. Since then, I’ve had three dogs—one Canaanite Shepherd and two huskies. I also have a lovely turtle at home named Zoom! Animal care is part of my daily life, and I strive to give my animals (and yours!) the best life possible! I currently work from home most days, so I can be fairly flexible with my schedule (given enough notice). I am happy to work with your and your dog’s needs! While I don’t offer care in my own home, I am happy to visit your home to let your animals out and get them some exercise!
“Maddie was awesome! She took great care of both of my dogs and kept me updated the entire time. She made me so comfortable while I was away and I knew my dogs were having such a great time! I would definitely book with Maddie again and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy dog sitter. She goes above and beyond! ?”

“We really love Jessica and she takes good care of our fur babies! We have a 7 year old foxhound a 7 month old new lab/beagle mix puppy at our house and she took on both last week, and they just loved having her here! She always sends us updates and photos and I feel very at ease when we are out of town and she is here. Highly recommend.”

“Christina was extremely communicative and treated the dogs fantastic! She also left the house in great shape and followed my instruction sheet to the letter, which I truly appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“Sam was fantastic! We had a very last minute request, with special needs. The communication was great and we always felt that our pup was in great hands. We came home to a very happy dog!”

Words cannot express the appreciation I have for Eric. I have high needs animals, and I am pretty sensitive about the way they are worked with. Eric took the time to come and make sure my dogs were comfortable with him and that I was comfortable. He recommended setting up a google drive file for he and I to communicate as the days approached. I will continue to use him as I need support and I would recommend him to anyone!
Sophia was wonderful! She understood our older dog and took wonderful care of her and the house. She even placed her used towel in our laundry area which was such a thoughtful move. Couldn’t be happier with care Sophia took or our little dog and house. Will welcome her back again!
Absolutely amazing house and dog sitter. She went above and beyond in every way and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Tiger was so loved, cared for, and spoiled the entire time — we could tell immediately when we got home. She kept us updated, treated our home with care, and truly cared for Tiger like he was her own. We are beyond grateful and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation! 🐾✨

This is the second time we have used Rover.com and the second time we have used Rachel R. Rachel is an awesome house sitter and our dogs Hershey & Cinnamon absolutely love her. Rachel sends us numerous pictures & funny videos while we are away. Frequently, she goes above and beyond the dog sitting service to take care of our house and our dogs. For example, the 1st time Rachel watched our dogs, she DeScaled my coffee pot and other things that Cathy & I wouldn't have even thought of. On her second time, there was a tornado warning and severe thunderstorm warning. While we hadn't left any instructions for bad weather, she contacted us immediately to let us know and to see how we wanted her to handle the dogs for severe weather. Then, Rachel kept us informed about the progression of the storms. Also, Rachel is very flexible and accommodating to our needs and last minute requests. With Rachel, we never have to worry about our dogs and can just relax and enjoy our time away. I have recommended Rachel to our neighbors and friends.
Angie did a terrific job taking care of our dog Teddy. She kept in contact with us and sent photos daily. Teddy is a senior dog who requires medication and is a very picky eater. She was able to met all his needs and took the extra time to make him steak and other food to add to his kibble. When we came home from our trip our dog was happy and healthy and our house was very clean. Angie went above and beyond and cleaned the house and took out our trash! She even offered to throw the bed sheets in the washer before she left. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter.
Jordyn was fantastic! She was very communicative before, during, and after the sitting, so I was never left wondering what was going on. She and my babies totally connected and it left me feeling very confident to leave without worrying. She's very personable and I trusted her immediately. She will be my go to whenever she's available. Thank you Jordyn!

Amethyst was a huge help for us - stepping up when our other sitter had to cancel on short notice. She took great care of the pups while we were gone. We got several updates throughout the day, along with several pictures of the kiddos. We will definitely keep her in mind for the next time!
