About: Growing up with cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, fish, etc. taught me from an early age how to care for pets. I've cared for exotic animals including an iguana, chinchilla, and a hedgehog for teachers and family friends. I'm experienced in caring for senior dogs and cats, administering medications, and recognizing/responding to their needs appropriately. Having a senior dog of my own who has separation anxiety, I understand all too well how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and to feel at peace while your away, knowing that your fur baby is happy and well cared for. I'm a therapist with a private practice so I make my own schedule and have flexibility which allows me to incorporate pet sitting into my routine. I treat my clients' homes and their pets in the way I would want mine to be treated. Cleaning up after myself or the pets, leaving the home in the way I found it or better, and making sure to communicate with the owners about any concerns (or just to let them know how their fur babies are doing)!
10. Angela G.
“I first met Angela, known as Sunny and she is exactly that all sunshine! when we were searching for a dog walker for our Great Pyrennes puppy and care for two cats. We had a connection immediately as her personality and love of animals just shone through. She is a wealth of knowledge. You have a sense of who you want to leave your precious babies in the care of and from the moment I met her I just had that good feeling. I have to travel to UK many times a year and she would just step right in. Animals adored her and our dog Ollie cannot wait to see her. She would just come over for a cuddle just to stay connected. If that’s not animal love I don’t know what is! I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
11. Katie M.
“Katie is wonderful and accomidating. She quickly replied to my last minute request. Bandit took to her and enjoyed his walk immensely! I highly recommend Katie !”
12. Kristina S.
“I cannot say enough good things about Kristina watching my babies for me. Not only is she so on top of everything at all times, she really loves my dogs and they really love her. One of our dogs is very skittish around most people and it takes a lot for her to trust anyone. After building a relationship of care with her while we are out of town, Kristina is now one of the only people my dog will go right up to when she comes over, cuddle with, etc. when she won't get close to many people. Kristina makes us feel really comfortable while we are away, send us photos and updates, etc. We never have one worry while we are gone. I know she does and would treat our dogs like her own in any situation, and we so love and appreciate her! :)”

14. Barrett B.
About: I'm a dog person and a firm believer that dogs are family members who deserve the best care and lots and lots of love. I have had 4 dogs thus far so I have a lot of experience taking care of aging pups (meds, drops, diapers, etc) as well as puppies (crate training, chewing, wild energy, etc.) and everything in between. I am a big walker and love to have a walking buddy to explore with (equally happy to hang out on the couch with pups who aren't really into walks). I've dog sat for a wide range of dogs, from a miniature labradoodle to a great dane so I'm comfortable will all breeds, sizes, and ages. Safety is my ultimate priority for your pup and his/her happiness is next! With me your dog will be in great hands and most importantly, will have a great time! I work from home so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can be home with your pup during the day to attend to their needs and provide lots of love and attention. I always make sure all gates and doors are closed and locked. I am very aware of my surroundings when I walk, making sure to keep pups away from cars or any other hazards.

My schedule is flexible and changes from week to week, but my available on my calendar will be accurate. I do not care for animals in my home at the moment. I am available to care for pets in my clients homes. I will care for them by walking them, feeding them, and any other services that's necessary to each animal
16. Sarah K.
“Sarah is far and away the best dog sitter I've ever used! My dog Erich is a little rough around the edges and has tendencies to show aggression around other big male dogs. It was important for me to find a sitter that I knew could handle this sort of behavior, and Sarah is exactly that. She has a Shih Tzu of her own, and has been around dogs of all sizes for her entire life. If you are looking for a sitter in the Arlington area, she is totally worth your time and consideration. Take this from a dog owner who leaves town all the time on business, and needs / requires that "peace of mind" to get through the trip. I guarantee there isn't a sitter more qualified in the Northern VA / DC / MD area!”
17. Sadie C.
“Sadie is a huge animal lover who is also hardworking, caring, organized, and compassionate. She has ample experience taking care of dogs, cats, and even pigs! I would not hesitate to leave my companion animal in her care!”
18. Leanna T.
About: I have take care of animals for about 10 years; I am an active duty Marine that works remote, but I was a surgical veterinary technician and a dog trainer prior to joining. My spouse is a veterinarian as well! So we have a ton of experience with animals all different sizes. Additionally, I have gone to school for animal behavior and work on training for cats and dogs. I live 10 mins from work so I am constantly home. Additionally, I always take one of my kids to work daily, it is just dependent on the animal. The animals are always monitored when interacting with each other and outside. For walks, I do not do off leash just due to safety. Additionally, my own and client pets I do not take to parks. All animals need to be fully vaccinated and on proper flea treatment. I have a fenced in yard, and at night my animals sleep in a crate.
19. Sumor O.
“Sumor is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She’s great with our dog, and extremely reliable, making sure Ellie has everything she could ever need! I know if Sumor’s taking care of Ellie, we can enjoy our time away, because Elie will get tons of love and top notch care!”
20. Melissa T.
