“Megan and Lois have been incredible with Milo! He's very energetic and loves to run, so I love that they have a fenced in backyard where he can run some of that energy off. He is always tired when I pick him up from daycare, which is rare for his breed :) It just shows that he's played hard, and I couldn't be happier with the care that Megan and Lois have given him at daycare. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Sherri is great. She made Charlie Girl feel at home, wanted and loved. I couldn't ask for more for someone to be like this with our pup. Thank you SOOOO Much. See you next week.”

About: Hey there! My name is Audrey and I've been an animal lover since very a young age. Grew up on a farm and started watching for family and friends about 10 years old. From chickens, cows, horses, you name it I've cared for it! I take care of my parents Shih Tzu Dollie (named after Mrs Dolly Parton, because of her big attitude and sass!). *****My husband Joey occasionally assists me with pet sitting and care. We have many people that we have watched pets for together. We just love giving all animals love and affection they deserve. Taking care of pets fits right into our everyday life! I’m a stay-at-home dad and husband, so we’re always moving around the house, hanging out in the yard, or heading out to the park. Between toddler adventures and walks, there’s plenty of time for play, fetch, and cuddles, your pup will feel right at home with us. I have a fenced yard and a security camera at my front entrance. I love spending time outdoors and have plenty of energy to take my toddler and pets on walks to the nearby park.
About: I have had dogs and cats ever since I was born. I love and adore being with big dogs, small dogs, hyper dogs, and sleepy dogs! I currently have 2 of my own, one big, one small, and 3 cats that I also love so much! I have cared for family and friends cats and dogs and have also done work outside of family. I am very knowledgeable on bathing, feeding, walking, and giving attention to pets. :) My schedule currently is extremely open as i work a flexible job. In my home I do all the necessary things for my dogs and cats; walking, playing with, feeding, bathing, training/teaching tricks, etc. In other clients houses I have stayed for at a weeks time or just a day to take care of pets, and also do anything that’s needed around the house such as cleaning!
“Amrutha was wonderful. I am from out of town and she helped my son and I in a pinch. She kept us updated with texts and pictures. Plan on using them again when we are back in town.”

About: I’ve had dogs for over 20 years and caring for pets has been part of my life since I was very young. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and different personalities and needs. I have experience administering medications when needed and always focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Your dog will enjoy daily walks, playtime, attention, and a family-friendly home environment. I also have a fully fenced backyard that is maintained without toxic sprays, so your fur baby can safely explore and play. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m a stay-at-home mom and this allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I care for pets as if they were my own while following their normal routine and owner preferences. At my home, pets enjoy a safe environment with a fully fenced backyard and regular supervision since I’m home most of the day.
About: My furry family has been growing since 2017! Over the years, we’ve rescued, puppy trained, and kitten trained our way to a home filled with three four-legged friends. During COVID, we spent about a year fostering animals through our local shelter. We quickly learned we weren’t the best foster parents because we ended up adopting one of the kittens from our very own litter! There are currently more animals in our home than humans, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾 My husband and I both work from home, which gives us the flexibility to provide walks, check-ins, and plenty of love and attention whenever your pets need it! I'm currently working full time but I work remotely so have the flexibility to come check on your animals whenever! We are also available most weekends. We have a fenced in yard, so if play time calls, they can go in and out as much as they want! We have plenty of toys and two dogs to keep them company. We also try to go on walks once or twice a day so they will get their steps in if they like to get out of the house!
About: I've care for almost every kind of pet and treat each as though they were my very own. I have a very special place in my heart for animals and truly believe they are some of the most intuitive beings, and should be treated with the upmost respect. When you book with me, breathe easy with the peace of mind that I will care for your pet attentively, and ensure they feel safe and peaceful while you are away! As a sitter I have experience administering medication, adhering to feeding schedules, keeping pet spaces clean, respecting their boundaries and giving affection. I am consistent and clear when it comes to communication about your pet's wellbeing and status updates! I look forward to learning how I can care for your animal and promote a peaceful environment while you are away :) My current availability is open though that is tentative depending on bookings. I'd love to fit time in my schedule to spend with your precious pets--whether that be house sitting with them or taking them on walks and giving them a snuggle while you're at work I treat both pets and the spaces they reside in with the upmost respect and care. Any instructions you have for either your precious pet or beautiful home we can discuss beforehand to ensure all parties are comfortable.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Beard commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
