My preference for overnights and boarding are on the weekends (until May), but I am available for walks and drop in visits almost any day of the week. “This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. I graduated high school in 2024 and during high school I volunteered many hours at the Clinton County Humane Society. In June of 2024 I started pet sitting for local families. Since then I have helped take care of many families furry friends including common house pets such as Dogs, Cats, and even Kinkajous! I am currently trying to branch out and make pet care my main job. Which means my availability is usually always open! Don’t be scared to reach out and ask! BOARDING IN MY HOME: I live with my parents out in the country with two dogs in my home and one cat. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

About: You couldn't find someone who is more of an animal lover in all areas than me. I love and admire all types of animals, especially dogs and cats and would love and care for your pet as if they were one of my own. About: I grew up on a farm so I've always been around animals. At a very young age I started helping care for the animals which lead to me house sitting as well as walking them. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little but more specifically this year when I house sat with two dogs and a cat! I have had a golden retriever and a beagle throughout my childhood. I also dog sat a blue heeler. I love taking care of dogs and I would love to take care of yours! I am completely free for the next month before I head back to college in the middle of August, but I also come home on the weekends. Pets in my home go in my fenced in yard. Pets at clients home will go out on a leash with me or in a fenced in yard as well!

The hours that I am able to walk, check in, or be at a house during a house sit are Monday and Wednesday before 5 am and after 12:30 pm, Tuesday until 11 am and after 7:30 pm, Thursday before 11:30 and after 1:30, Friday before 5 am and after 7:30 pm, and full weekend availablity. I will always make sure to listen to your instructions, concerns, and advice. About: I’ve always been the biggest animal lover, and am currently raising 2 of my own. They are easily the best part of every day! I’ve raised puppies, have been a pet sitter, or even just swing by houses to let their dogs outside for a bit! I quickly learned that my fav part of working from home was spending time with my dogs! I have a backyard with a large deck overlooking a woodsy ravine that dogs love hanging out on to watch wildlife and relax with us! Our house is setup to keep your pets separated from ours if necessary- with 2 living rooms upstairs and downstairs. We love watching movies with them and taking them on nature walks in our neighborhood! I am a business owner so I am able to work my schedule around caring for your pets. I work at a small animal vet with a specialty in dogs and cats. I am experienced in administering medications of all types (oral, injectables, transdermal) and am proficient in identifying symptoms of illness. While your pet is under my care, I prioritize making sure they have fresh, clean water, clean environment, exercise, and food as needed. With my experience as a registered vet tech, I understand how each pets needs are different. I currently don’t have any pets of my own so your dog would be my sole focus. I can accommodate any feeding schedule and can accommodate any medications. Your pet will be taken out on a leash for potty breaks and won’t be left unmonitored while outside.

About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. I am currently a full-time purdue student who takes most classes online so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! I love going on walks so you can guarantee your fur baby will get some long peaceful and smellful walks! So far I have done both in-home and in my home. I make sure to have a specific wake up sleep schedule so my animals and the ones I have watched have a routine and care. As I mentioned before I love walks… so walks are guaranteed! In the clients home I make sure to provide the same level of care and attention to the pet as I would my own or in my own home!
