“I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough! From the moment Olive arrived, she kept me updated with frequent messages, adorable photos, and little updates about what they were doing throughout the day. Her communication was honestly incredible, and it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was how comfortable Olive became with her. Olive is usually very shy and reserved in new environments, and whenever I’ve boarded her before, I noticed in photos that her tail was almost always down. With Elizabeth, though, her tail was wagging in so many of the pictures! It made me so happy to see her looking so relaxed, confident, and genuinely happy. That alone spoke volumes about how loved and comfortable she felt. Elizabeth’s dog was also the sweetest companion for Olive. They bonded so well, and I truly think having another friendly dog around made such a positive difference for her. Olive normally gets very carsick, but while she was with Elizabeth, she didn’t have a single episode of nausea, which honestly surprised me. I really think being so comfortable and having such great company helped her tremendously. Elizabeth is a true dog person through and through. She cared for Olive as if she were one of her own, and that kind of love and attention is something you can’t teach. She was always quick to respond, happy to answer every question I had, and made me feel completely at ease the entire time. I would absolutely book with Elizabeth again in a heartbeat, and I’m so grateful I found her. Seeing how happy and comfortable Olive was makes me confident she’d be just as excited to see Elizabeth again. About: I have over 10 years of experience in pet boarding and looking after the pets of my friends and family. I have assisted in training puppies as well as adult dogs, so I am more than happy to assist in training your animals while you're away by keeping up a specific schedule or regimen. I also have personal experience caring for elderly dogs as well as dogs with anxiety disorders, happy to work with them in any special ways needed. I typically find myself doing a lot of my busy work and essential activities in the afternoons and evenings. For this reason, majority of my availability for short visits will be in the mornings, but happy to discuss other arrangements if needed. I have a large backyard and property that your bestie will just love, if they stay over at my place. I have multiple sized dog beds so no matter babies size they'll have a lovely place to rest their head.

I have experience of 4 years fostering with local rescues and the Stockton Animal shelter. I primarily have worked with cats and kittens ranging from 4 weeks to adults cats. I also have a cat of my own, who loves the company of other cats and kittens. In my home there is a dedicated space to play and have access to a cat tower that overlooks a bird feeder for bird watching - this is an HUGE hit with my own furbaby. This room also is quiet and provides a calm and secure room for furbabies that may be a bit more on the skiddish and shy side. Ensuring that your pet is comfortable and safe is my biggest concern. I am second grade teacher and while the some days are longer than most, I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your fur baby! I have a cat of my own and playtime is an important part of our day. I will be sure to give your baby plenty of pets and cuddles. Ensuring that your furbaby is stress free and safe are my #1 concerns. You furbaby, will be able to roam freely and explore my home as if it is their own, unless you prefer otherwise. I also have an office space that doubles as a room dedicated to my cat that is filled with toys for enrichment!

About: Though I am not well versed in special needs dogs, ones with anxiety I know far to well as my Bella suffers daily. Constant love and affection would be given to ensure your fur babies feel right at home as if you’ve never left. Hello I’m Melissa a newly FT stay at home mom of 2. I homeschool during the morning and have fun by mid afternoon so adding some visitors to my day would be my pleasure! Both my Bombay cat and Deer Chihuahua were rescued. I work with many rescues in the surrounding areas to make sure all strays brought home find their forever homes. I do live in a rental so I do request that they are potty trained! Both my cat and dog are fully house broke and getting up in the night for those midnight tinkle breaks are possible since my dog is a senior and needs to go too. I hope that gives you a little insight to my life and allows you to be comfortable in choosing me as your fur babies mini vaca destination. I have a fully fenced decent size back yard with cameras for lots of room to run and get their wiggles out or just explore and sunbathe. I have a large crate if they prefer some quiet time alone just request you bring their favorite bed or blanket so they have a piece of home to comfort them.
