We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! [Sitter’s Name] was incredibly attentive, reliable, and clearly loves animals. We felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in great hands. Communication was excellent—daily updates, photos, and little notes that made us smile. Even when our dog had a little accident on his bed, Mariah handled it with patience and care. It’s clear they went above and beyond. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again. Thank you for treating our dog like family!

About: As a kitten foster and multi-pet household caregiver, I’m used to caring for animals with different needs, energy levels, and personalities. Whether it’s playful kittens, shy cats, or dogs that need structure and attention, I adjust my care to what each pet needs. I’m also comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to behavior and health. I take the time to really understand each animal and respond to what they need—whether that’s extra patience, playtime, routine, or a quieter approach. I take pride in being dependable and communicative. You’ll get consistent updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I offer: • Drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays • Care for multiple pets at once • Medication administration • Extra patience for shy or young animals • Close attention to routines and behavior I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible :) Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely. As long as I have my laptop, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I can care for your pet in my home or yours—whatever makes them most comfortable. If they prefer staying in their own space, I’m happy to bring my work with me and keep their routine consistent. This flexibility means your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have companionship, supervision, and a calm presence—whether that’s relaxing on my lap while I work or resting nearby. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a secure, calm environment with close supervision. At my home, pets have access to a large backyard that backs up to a farm and a quiet cul-de-sac street, giving plenty of space to explore safely. While my yard isn’t fenced, I take extra precautions to ensure pets remain secure at all times. I have a small Morkie who enjoys gentle play, and kittens in my care are always excited to meet new friends. Interacting with other animals not only enriches their social experience but also helps kittens become more confident and adoptable. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your routines closely, provide attentive supervision, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and confident in their familiar surroundings.

Cindy will love on your pup for duration of their stay. She walked our dog regularly, took photos of her chilling out, and dropped us updates now and then. She's awesome with dogs, uses harnesses for walks for their comfort, gives them occasional treats and a comfy spot to bed down. We love her!

Bethany and her family are the best place by far to leave your dog! She was able to accommodate us last minute for a long stay. Our puppy is only 4 months old and did wonderfully there. She kept up on her routine and helped train her in other areas. She also sent daily pictures and videos for our kids to see. Can’t say enough good things about her.

About: I’ve grown up around animals all of my life, including several dogs of my own. I have had puppies all the way up to my dog mack who is 16 and lives with my parents. With the help of my girlfriend who is on the track team at Tennessee Tech University your pet is sure to have a fun time and stay safe. I currently am a full time student and don’t have a job right now so I am home all day on the weekends, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The only days i have class are 12:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have plenty of time to spend with your pet and show them the love they deserve. I have a big apartment and have a fenced yard for your pets to run around in and play and also an unfenced yard for walks and runs. I also live close to a dog park to let your dog socialize if that is desired.

You will find yourself very fortunate if you are able to book Drew for pet sitting. Her experience and knowledge of pet behavior really helped set my mind at ease. I just moved to the area from Colorado and I have a senior dog that has been my companion and has gone everywhere with me for the last 10 years. She is an indoor dog used to be pampered. This is the first time I was unable to take her on a road trip with me. You can imagine my stress, apprehension and uncertainty to leave her with someone I had just met. During my meet and greet session with Drew I had a new sense of reassurance. She listened to me validated me and followed all my instructions. She communicated with me several times a day including photos & videos. Drew was flexible with me during my uncertain schedule. My dog was taken care of very well. Drew was able to adjust to any issues that came up quickly and appropriately. She was also competent & confident administering medication’s as needed for my dog. I would highly recommend Drew for your pet sitting needs. I will definitely use her again in the future.

For our first experience with Rover, would couldn’t have asked for a better experience than we had with Parker. Our 7-month old pup, Ash, is high energy and we were worried he would be a trouble. No concerns from Parker with his behavior, and Ash came home in perfect spirits to very thankful parents! Looking forward to working with Parker again in the future.

About: What sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about animals. I enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every pet like my own and always try to give them the attention and care they deserve. Additionally, I have a prosthetic leg, which has made me more adaptable, patient, and attentive in everything I do. It’s taught me how to approach situations with care and awareness qualities that carry over into how I care for animals every day. I’m a Tennessee Tech student, and since I don’t have classes in the afternoons, I have a lot of availability to care for pets. I’m dependable, patient, and I like making sure pets stay active, comfortable, and on their normal routine while their owner is away. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they stay on their normal routine with feeding, fresh water, walks or bathroom breaks, and time to play. I also spend time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone while their owner is away.

About: I’m a dog guy and have owned dogs my entire life. Large dogs like labs, golden retrievers, German Shepherd’s to smaller breeds like doodles, Jack Russell’s and a doxin. I currently own 3 labs and lost a beautiful GSD a few months ago. I’m a realtor. I come and go a lot. I feed am and/or pm and the dogs have fresh water 24/7. My dogs roam my property during the day so the larger boarding dogs will have plenty of space in the dog yard (or in their run). I built a great dog area on my property, including a fenced 5000sf dog yard, dry runs and heated and cooled sleeping/resting areas. Small, crate trained dogs are welcome to stay in my house. Larger dogs will stay in the dog area referenced above. My neighbor is also a groomer. We can coordinated grooming if you are interested in her services.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Baxter home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
