I’m very thankful with Mariah, my dog Bella really likes her even though she doesn’t like lots of people. That tells me Mariah is very good to her and makes her feel welcome and safe. We will keep using Mariah as our Petsitter.

Izabella and her family were so good to our pom Sammy. He got a lot of attention and play time with her kids, which would have made him feel right at home, plus her own dogs were very sweet. They were very accommodating and gave us lots of updates. 10/10 for not having to worry about our sweet boy while we were on vacation.

I have never had to get a sitter for my dog before and was a little nervous at first but Bethany was so profession and asked many questions about Panda and ensured me she would take great care of her and send picture and video updates, which she did. Panda had so much fun during her stay. I will definitely use her again.

About: As a kitten foster and multi-pet household caregiver, I’m used to caring for animals with different needs, energy levels, and personalities. Whether it’s playful kittens, shy cats, or dogs that need structure and attention, I adjust my care to what each pet needs. I’m also comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to behavior and health. I take the time to really understand each animal and respond to what they need—whether that’s extra patience, playtime, routine, or a quieter approach. I take pride in being dependable and communicative. You’ll get consistent updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I offer: • Drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays • Care for multiple pets at once • Medication administration • Extra patience for shy or young animals • Close attention to routines and behavior I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible :) Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely. As long as I have my laptop, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I can care for your pet in my home or yours—whatever makes them most comfortable. If they prefer staying in their own space, I’m happy to bring my work with me and keep their routine consistent. This flexibility means your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have companionship, supervision, and a calm presence—whether that’s relaxing on my lap while I work or resting nearby. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a secure, calm environment with close supervision. At my home, pets have access to a large backyard that backs up to a farm and a quiet cul-de-sac street, giving plenty of space to explore safely. While my yard isn’t fenced, I take extra precautions to ensure pets remain secure at all times. I have a small Morkie who enjoys gentle play, and kittens in my care are always excited to meet new friends. Interacting with other animals not only enriches their social experience but also helps kittens become more confident and adoptable. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your routines closely, provide attentive supervision, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and confident in their familiar surroundings.

Can not praise Derek and Jenn enough, they took care of our very nervous little Jack ( this little chap had a sad start in life and never really knew that humans can be ok) and they let him see how great people can be. Had daily pictures and updates, I never worried once whilst on our holiday, he looked more relaxed every day. Thank you both, I know we will be happy to have Jack stay next time we are away.

About: What sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about animals. I enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every pet like my own and always try to give them the attention and care they deserve. Additionally, I have a prosthetic leg, which has made me more adaptable, patient, and attentive in everything I do. It’s taught me how to approach situations with care and awareness qualities that carry over into how I care for animals every day. I’m a Tennessee Tech student, and since I don’t have classes in the afternoons, I have a lot of availability to care for pets. I’m dependable, patient, and I like making sure pets stay active, comfortable, and on their normal routine while their owner is away. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they stay on their normal routine with feeding, fresh water, walks or bathroom breaks, and time to play. I also spend time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone while their owner is away.

Groomong and boarding is what I do full time and I'm home almost all the time so your babies will always be looked after and have me around them watching over them. We were very glad that Laree and her family were able to provide boarding for our 12 year old Frenchton during Christmas time. Laree and her family were very friendly and took care of him very well. He felt comfortable right away. Laree sent us pictures daily while we were away and let us know how he was doing. She is very kind and gentle. We would not hesitate to book boarding time with Laree in the future. Thanks, Laree. We are very grateful.

If my Penny is the Poster girl for Rover then Mia and Caleb are the Poster Parents! I've never left my dog with anyone but family members or someone she knew closely. I had an urgent housing need for my dog when I came to a graduation at Tennessee Tech, and my original plans had changed quickly. Mia and Caleb are rock stars! A five-star review does not seem good enough. I scoured six reviews to land on them. Location and their reviews had everything to do with it. They made Penny fill right at home, I could tell from the pictures. They even let her sleep in their bed!! She took to them instantly. She has separation anxiety, so I was really worried. But they said she only barked for a couple minutes and settled in just fine. They made a place for on the back of their couch so she could look out the window for me. That makes her happy. I gave them instructions and they followed them to the T. I can't thank the two of them enough. They are amazing. Thank you Mia and Caleb for making my night so much easier and worrisome free! YOU BOTH ROCK!!!

I can’t thank Jessalyn enough! My dog tends to be shy, but he was comfortable with her upon the first meeting! She gave my baby so much love and attention, and made sure he got his daily walks in. It was such a relief knowing he was in great hands while I was gone. The photo updates were adorable, and I could tell he felt right at home! I will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
