“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life since I was a kid. I love dogs and my whole family is very dog friendly. I currently have two of my own dogs, Blizzard my 5 1/2 year old Goldendoodle and Boomer my 8 1/2 year old Beagle. These guys are my best friends! Since rescuing my Goldendoodle Blizzard, I’ve also learned to bathe & groom him, a special skill that takes practice and patience. Boarding Notes: I work from home, so I am able to take care of the dogs and be very flexible with their walking, feeding and bathroom needs. At my house, dogs are welcome on the furniture and on the bed at night but I will respect other owners obedience/rules while caring for their dogs. We have a lot of the room in the house which even has a fun room with toy mountain, a collection of hundreds of dog toys that everyone is welcome to play with! I have a big backyard but it is not fenced in. Instead, I prefer to walk the dogs on leashes/leads or attach them to the dog-run line I have running across the backyard for playtime! House Sitting Notes: I am more than happy to pack up and come stay at your home to watch your dog(s)! My only condition is that I would need to bring my two dogs with me for the house sitting stay. If this is something you would not allow, I will not be able to house sit for you. If you are open to this, we can discuss more about rules/regulations if I were to house sit for you to make sure you are fully comfortable with me and my two dogs staying in your home once you submit the request! Drop In Notes: I am happy to do drop in's to care for your dogs, instead of boarding them at my house. For drop in's, I would stop by 1 or 2 times each day for a length of time you request to play and care for your dogs. I would not stay overnight. I do this for families that would prefer their dogs stay in their own environment and not get boarded. You should only book this if your dog(s) can go 12 hours or more without a bathroom break. If your dog(s) cannot do that, I would strongly encourage you to board your dogs with me or request I house sit - either way I would make sure they are very comfortable and safe. I would love the opportunity to watch your dog(s) and can be flexible with short-term or long-term boarding, drop ins, house sitting - plus other accommodations. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and give them a lot of love and care for their entire stay! My services are worth the investment so you have peace of mind! If you are interested in my services, put a request in so we can plan everything out. I work from home, therefore I can accommodate many different types of schedules based on a dogs needs. Frequent walks, feeding or medication is no challenge throughout each day/night. Any dog who comes to stay with us will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. We got pictures and videos at each visit and she wasn’t in a rush but spent time with them. when I introduced Lizzy to Jeneen Lizzy hissed at her so during our time away, she allowed our Lizzy the space needed to warm up to her. They do get snacks in between that time. I give my babies slamming skin treats and other treats for dogs only. I have a large fenced in yard and I’m always outside with my babies and anyone else babies to ensure safety. As well as playing with them outside.
