“She was absolutely amazing with my dog and made me feel so comfortable and secure while I was away. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats the dogs like her own. He had an absolute blast with her, and I loved getting updates knowing he was happy and well taken care of. I would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive!”

“Kelli and her family were great for my almost 11 yr old pupper. She was very communicative and sent pics throughout the time. Was very happy with the entire process. Was able to plan a pre visit meet and greet, and she seemed to have spoiled him a bit, which i appreciate it greatly! Will def contact Kelli again in the future! Thanks again!”

“Gail was amazing with my little Shih-Tzu who hasn’t really been away from me for more than a day. I needed care for 4 days and felt at ease with Gail watching her. She sent me regular updates and photos, and made sure she stayed safe and happy. She even offered to cook her something special when she wasn’t eating the first day. I’ll definitely be returning with Vivian when I need care in the future. Thank you Gail!”

“Mafe was an Angel! Seriously.. it was spur of the moment and she took both of my dogs. She played with them and walked them and sent me updates and pictures!! I am so glad we found her! Thank you so much Mafe”

She followed all of our instructions regarding Eris’s food and medication, which gave us so much peace of mind. I also loved seeing how well her dog and Eris got along.they became great friends! 🥰 I highly recommend her and would definitely trust her with Eris again!”

“Jett found his new best friends in this home! We did a meet and greet and they are so warm and welcoming. Their dog Autumn is super friendly also. I had no nervousness about them or their home or pet. Jett felt the same, it was instant comfort. Great communication for a first time stay :) Judy also let me know general details about dogs coming for day care while Jett would be there just for my awareness. Everything went well and they were so kind and flexible when my return flights got delayed!”

“I have a problem pup that I didn’t initially know was going to be a problem. Paige did a wonderful job working with my skittish female shepherd, keep her safe and loved until I got back home! She even checked up on my chickens for me while I was gone! 10/10 would recommend.”

About: Hi! I’m a proud fur mama to five dogs and caretaker of 17 farm animals, so animals are literally my everyday life. I’ve spent years feeding, exercising, and making sure animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to get to know each one so they feel at home. Whether your pup loves to play, needs a calm companion or just wants belly rubs, I’m happy to provide personalized care and lots of love. I can also send photo and video updates so you feel at ease while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I’m a stay at home wife, homemaker. Taking care of my animals is my daily job. Feeding, bathroom breaks and playing occurs all day long! We live on 1 and a half acres, unfenced. My dogs are trained with no fence. But we do have a 200 square foot fenced in area we call the doggy playpen outside for dogs! Of course on walks leashes are used.
About: I’ve always been a lover of animals. I have my own 2 cats and doggo and they’re my whole world. Before that I had family dogs and cats ever since I was young and they were my favorite thing to see when I came home after a long day. I love to workout with people themselves and animals! It benefits everyone to get up and move throughout the day. Plus dogs should get to experience the world around them too! I’m a stay at home mom, I am expecting our first baby in December. So once the baby is here, I may take a break for a little bit, but I’ll be back! I’m available to walk during typical business hours while my husband is working. I have a two story spacious home with a large fenced in backyard! Our bedroom is on the first floor so even if the dogs are older, they wouldn’t need to go up any stairs. I have a loving dog that will play and run around with them and 2 cats! One is super friendly and will play with them. The other is a little more timid and will most likely just hide.
“Kelly is so attentive and caring. It’s such a relief to be able to leave our pup with her and know that he’s being loved and cared for well. I don’t ever wonder whether he’s having a great time with Kelly and her dogs!”

“Sam was truly amazing with my dog, Oscar. She always updated with pictures and provided insight into his mood, eating, and activities they did. Will definitely be rebooking with Sam!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs. Ive turned aggressive dogs calm. Understanding your dog and its triggers are key. I will treat your pet like it’s my own. Lots of love and playful stimulation. I’m not just watching your dog, I’m creating a bond. Creating a safe space for your pup to be able to relax and have fun. Building trust with you is step 1. I’m currently working full time but I can move my schedule around as needed. At the moment weekends are best to watch your fur babies. I have an open yard. Not big but big enough to play. I use e collars to help direct playtime and to have control over them as needed. Dogs roam freely in the house when I am home. They go in crate if I am not. Multiple post breaks and plenty of playtime and healthy stimulation

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
