“Marissa took great care of our cat Igor while we were away visiting family. He’s a shy kitty, but she got him to come out and play many times! She’s got great pet sense, and we would absolutely hire her again!”

About: Both my aunt and uncle are retired veterinarians, so caring for animals runs in the family! I have grown up with/have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. I am also a runner, so if your dog would like to go for a run and not just a walk, that would be a great option too! I also have experience working at the Pooch Palace which is a boarding, grooming, and doggy day care facility in West Lafayette. I have two dogs of my own. Theo, who is a 2 year old golden retriever, and Gordy, who is a 5 year old boxer/pit mix. I also have an 8 year old cat named Wade. I am a teacher with open summer availability. I can also help out with animals during the school year as well. I work part time at a golf course during the summer, but I have a pretty open schedule. When letting dogs outside, I make sure that the owner has a fenced in backyard to let them out in. If they do not, I always have the dogs on a leash when outside for a potty break or walk.

“Allison was wonderful! She took great care of our three cats and our tortoise! Our cats are usually pretty nervous around people they don’t know but they warmed right up to her. Having a tortoise isn’t a common pet, but Allison was able to follow our direction and give her the optimal care! We are very pleased with Allison and would recommend her to anyone! She also likes to send daily pictures which we loved!”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals from shelters to patients in the work field. I have received an associates in veterinary technology and am fear free certified. I love getting the zoomies out and the tail wags going for a positive, safe, and happy time. I’m currently working full time, where i can be available in the later evenings and weekends. Days may vary and may be available throughout the day. I understand new people can be scary to our fur babies, but allowing time for them to get to know me on their time will allow a more stress free time. I am able to love, care, provide medication, crate, feed, and walk your pup.

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and cats my entire life! I am very active and would love to have new fur friends to go on walks with and care for! I am free mostly Monday through Wednesday and can make some weekends work as well! I’m able to drop in and take care of your babies or take them on walks! I am able to handle bigger dogs and I have a vehicle so I come to your house or take the pets to dog park or trails!

About: I have been living with dogs and cats from a young age, so I know how to take care of them at all life stages. I can take care of puppies, but I do have more experience with senior dogs. I work remote twice a week, so I have enough flexibility to take care of your pups! I would say pet care definitely plays a big role in my routine, as I have raised dogs my entire life, it is like second nature to take care of them. When house sitting, I abide by whatever rules you give me to properly take care of your pet. I also look up the dog's breed to see if there is anything specific, such as if they require more energy, to implement in our temporary routine. I also am very big on respecting the dog's boundaries because I want to make sure we're both comfortable with each other.

“Dan did an excellent job with my dog I was a little bit worried how my dog would be It was the first time I've been separated with him since I've had him Dan went beyond what I asked him to do and my dog enjoyed every minute of it I got to watch on my camera....lol”

“Micaela was a comfort for our family while out of town for vacation. When we had questions, she communicated promptly with us. She went above and beyond exercising our dog during her visits, even in the rain.”

About: I am a reliable, gentle dog sitter. I will do my best to get your dog the activity they need and give them all the loving pets and attention! I have specifically sat for golden doodles, shih tzus, chihuahuas, schnauzers, and dachshunds. I have also trained my own puppy, a toy bernedoodle, and sat for a senior dog in diapers. I look forward to getting to know your dog and your family! I’m currently working part time and working on my masters degree online, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I will make sure to give them walks, pets, and play with them! I have my own toy bernedoodle at home and am engaged to a soon to be vet! I will care for your pet in your home according to your instructions. I will take your direction on if you want them crated or not, getting them out on walks, making sure their food and water are set out for them, and more!

About: I took care of my dog during his last days and since 2021 have been house/dog sitting for friends of friends to help them out. I have 1 dog named maisey, she is a lab/pitbull mix! I also volunteer a lot to dog walk at shelters! I currently am a tech in the ICU so I only work 2 12 hour shifts a week, I usually try to schedule around that. I am in nursing school but with summer coming up, I will be free! I will be at the house majority of the time and I usually try to get them to like me and not be nervous by giving them treats!

“(Written from the perspective of Margot, a female black lab.) Carrie was a nice lady. From the minute she first came by to meet me, she knew right where to scratch and rub. I can tell she really knows how to deal with us doggos. She fed me dinner (always so yummy!) and took me out on a walk -- which was probably all about looking for squirrels, but it gave me a chance to pee and do my business. I don't know why my human has to go away sometimes, but when he does, I hope I'll keep on getting visits from Carrie! I'll bet she'll take great care of me when I have to board overnight too!”

About: I have had a dog as part of our family for over 20 years. We currently have a labrador retriever who we adore and spoil. I am looking to help others spoil their family members who happen to be furry. I am happy to pet, cuddle and play fetch to make your furry family member's day better! I also have weekend availability, as noted on my calendar. Please message me to confirm a specific weekend's availability. Thank You!! I would care for your dog by playing fetch, following your instructions for medication or care needs. I also like to pet or cuddle dogs when they enjoy it.

“Katelyn has a huge love for animals, both dogs and cats. Pets have always been a part of her life. Family and friends always call on Katelyn to pet sit for them for not only days but weeks at a time while they are on vacation or just away for a few days. During college she spent a summer working for our local "Pooch Palace" which is an overnight stay for dogs and cats. Katelyn doesn't know a pet she hasn't fallen in love with and totally enjoys caring for them and playing with them.”

“We are so lucky to have Maris in our dog’s lives! She also watches a couple other dogs in the neighborhood because people keep referring her to their friends! She’s always here for our dogs when we need her, and she doesn’t leave our dogs for long hours at a time and we’re so grateful for that. She is very caring to our dogs and we know our dogs love her because they get so excited. It gives us peace of mind that we have somebody in our home who is trustworthy and loves our boys.”
