About: I’m a dog owner and lover who treats every pet like part of the family. Our home is a peaceful, lakefront retreat where dogs get plenty of attention, affection, and a calm environment to feel safe and loved while you’re away. Each dog will have their own private space and we have a puppy community areas indoors for the winter. Our backyard is not currently fenced but will be fully fenced in with a 6ft fence by March. We have 2 lovely dogs ourselves, a male mini Aussie and female puppy golden retriever. I’ve grown up around pets and have hands-on experience caring for dogs, understanding their needs, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. Together, we provide a structured, nurturing environment with lots of supervision, play, and one-on-one attention. Your pup won’t just be boarded—they’ll be on vacation. From cozy private spaces to outdoor time and daily updates, we make sure every dog truly lives the good life while staying at our lakefront home. We can’t wait to welcome your pet into our home! Your dog will never be left alone or unattended in our home. My wife, our in-house assistant, and I work together to ensure dogs are seamlessly cared for throughout the day in a calm, structured environment. My wife is home full-time and is the primary caregiver during the day. She handles feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, rest periods, and one-on-one attention. Her background in childcare as a nanny translates perfectly into maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and providing patient, attentive care. Our in-house assistant is also home full-time and supports daily care by assisting with supervised play, cleaning and sanitizing spaces, meal prep, and individual check-ins. This allows us to keep our dog-to-human ratio low and give each pup personalized attention. I’m actively involved as well, helping with morning and evening routines, enrichment activities, and overall supervision. With multiple adults present at all times, dogs are rotated through play, rest, and care schedules so no pup is ever overwhelmed or overlooked. Because we are always home, dogs receive frequent potty breaks, consistent supervision, and plenty of affection—just like they would with their own family. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are our top priorities. We’ve intentionally created a calm, structured environment where dogs are closely supervised and cared for at all times. Our home is never unattended—my wife, our in-house assistant, and I are always present, ensuring constant supervision throughout the day and night. Dogs are cared for in a controlled setting with private, comfortable spaces to rest and decompress, helping reduce stress and overstimulation. We maintain strict cleanliness and safety standards, including regular sanitizing of all dog areas, food and water bowls, and shared spaces. We follow each dog’s individual care instructions carefully, from feeding schedules to potty routines and any special needs. We are selective about the dogs we accept to ensure a safe, positive environment for everyone. This allows us to maintain a low dog-to-human ratio, closely monitor behavior, and give each pup the attention they deserve. For added peace of mind, we provide regular photo and video updates so you can see your dog happy, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. Our goal is to create a trusted home-away-from-home where you can travel confidently knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in great hands.
