I have had a dog in my household since I can even remember! I live in the Batavia area with my 3.5 year old beagle. With my past experience with furbabies, I am confident that your dog/puppy and I will get along perfectly! I can't wait to meet you guys. I currently work part-time. I am typically only gone up to 5 hours on work days 2-3 days a week. Crate trained or free in the house your pup will be comfortable if I'm away. My neighborhood is super dog friendly with neighborhood sidewalks and parks! Your pet may just meet another friend along their walks or find a comfy spot to snooze on the couch :)

About: We've had 2 dogs who have unfortunately left us. Mickey was an 80 pound pit bull that I did everything with - walking, running, hiking, sleeping, traveling. I still miss him every day. One year after his passing we adopted a senior (9 yo) pit bull mix, Bella. Shortly after adopting Bella she was found to have heartworm. We were able to nurse her through the treatments back to health. Bella was a lazy girl who didn't have the energy level Mickey did but she was sweet and we spoiled her the 2 years we had her. I miss having a dog but my wife said "no more." Providing a service through Rover will help me get my "dog fix." Although I have used to pronoun "we" in my pet care experience that refers to our past 2 dogs. Going forward I will be the sole provider. I am retired so I have all kinds of free time to provide daily walks and the option for having overnight stays in our home. We have had dogs for 13 or so years and I am very capable in providing the care and attention to safely provide for them.
About: Hi there! I'm a graduate student working toward my PsyD in Clinical Psychology, and I'm looking to earn a little extra doing something I truly love — caring for animals. I grew up raising my parents' Chihuahua mostly on my own, and if you've ever met a Chihuahua, you know they can be quite the character! Thanks to that experience, I’m very comfortable reading a dog's body language and adjusting my approach to help them feel safe and understood. At this point, I’m confident I can connect with any dog — and all of my experiences so far have only strengthened that belief. I hope you can appreciate my sense of humor and passion for animals, and I’d love the opportunity to meet (and care for) your furry friend! Since I'm currently in graduate school, my class schedule changes every few weeks. I'll make sure to keep my availability updated regularly and be open and honest about any changes. As of right now, I don't have classes, but during the summer, I'lI have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in yours, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment tailored to each animal's needs. I follow any instructions you provide closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and preferred activities. I also make sure to spend plenty of quality time with your pet, whether that means playtime, walks, cuddles, or just keeping them company. When caring for pets in my home, I offer a calm, pet-friendly space with lots of supervision and attention. If I’m caring for them in your home, I aim to keep their routine as normal as possible to reduce stress — including maintaining familiar smells, spaces, and schedules. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you're away!

About: Dog Boarding with Cheyenne’s Animal Services 🐾 Where your pup stays safe, happy, and treated like family. Welcome to my home! I’ve been working professionally with dogs for over 9 years, and boarding pups is something I truly love. My goal is to provide a cozy, enriching, and structured home environment where your dog is treated like one of my own. 🐶 What You Can Expect: ✅ Required Meet & Greets – specifically for dogs over 30 lbs. I want your pup to feel comfortable and for everyone to be a good fit to avoid any ruining of any plans! This gives us a chance to meet, discuss your dog’s needs, and introduce them to me in a less stressful manner! 🐕 Dog-Friendly Guests preferred – I have several well-socialized, gentle resident dogs who welcome our guests. To keep playtime positive and safe, I only accept dogs who are social with other dogs. 🏡 Fenced Yard + Creek Adventures – Dogs enjoy supervised play in my fully fenced yard (never left unattended). When the weather allows, I also take boarders to a nearby creek for some extra fun and swimming. 🛏️ Comfort & Structure – Dogs are allowed on the couch and even in bed if that’s what they’re used to! Crate-trained dogs are preferred for meal times, as I do not allow group feeding. All pets must come with clear feeding instructions. 🧠 Experienced, Caring, and Attentive – I’m highly skilled at reading dog body language and preventing issues before they start. I also have experience with senior dogs, dogs who need oral medications, and offer basic obedience help for puppies during their stay. 💊 Health & Safety First – All boarding dogs must be on flea and tick prevention with some form of proof, as my pets are protected as well. Whether your pup is a young social butterfly or a gentle senior needing extra care, I’ll make sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. If you’re looking for a home away from home with structure, affection, and real dog experience—you’ve found the right place!
