Danielle is awesome! She exudes dog-people-ness: our dog was immediately comfortable in her home (and with her!) and she did a lovely job of caring for him/delivering him home at the end of his visit. We received adorable photos and felt entirely confident he was in great hands all day. Thanks Danielle!!

About: Dog Boarding with Cheyenne’s Animal Services 🐾 Where your pup stays safe, happy, and treated like family. Welcome to my home! I’ve been working professionally with dogs for over 9 years, and boarding pups is something I truly love. My goal is to provide a cozy, enriching, and structured home environment where your dog is treated like one of my own. 🐶 What You Can Expect: ✅ Required Meet & Greets – specifically for dogs over 30 lbs. I want your pup to feel comfortable and for everyone to be a good fit to avoid any ruining of any plans! This gives us a chance to meet, discuss your dog’s needs, and introduce them to me in a less stressful manner! 🐕 Dog-Friendly Guests preferred – I have several well-socialized, gentle resident dogs who welcome our guests. To keep playtime positive and safe, I only accept dogs who are social with other dogs. 🏡 Fenced Yard + Creek Adventures – Dogs enjoy supervised play in my fully fenced yard (never left unattended). When the weather allows, I also take boarders to a nearby creek for some extra fun and swimming. 🛏️ Comfort & Structure – Dogs are allowed on the couch and even in bed if that’s what they’re used to! Crate-trained dogs are preferred for meal times, as I do not allow group feeding. All pets must come with clear feeding instructions. 🧠 Experienced, Caring, and Attentive – I’m highly skilled at reading dog body language and preventing issues before they start. I also have experience with senior dogs, dogs who need oral medications, and offer basic obedience help for puppies during their stay. 💊 Health & Safety First – All boarding dogs must be on flea and tick prevention with some form of proof, as my pets are protected as well. Whether your pup is a young social butterfly or a gentle senior needing extra care, I’ll make sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. If you’re looking for a home away from home with structure, affection, and real dog experience—you’ve found the right place! Looking forward to meeting you and your dog soon! 🐾 —Cheyenne I have a very flexible schedule and there is always somebody home unless we go out for a short 1 hour function (typically grocery pick ups) Message me for any questions! Thanks so much! Fully fenced backyard with sprinklers, pools, toys (for those who don’t resource guard) we are very accommodating for behavioral issues in the pack! I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!

We were passing through Rochester and really needed a very trustworthy sitter for our highly separation anxious three legged Jack. So when we found Alex and Bethany and Jack trotted off with them with no anxiety, we knew we'd found the right match. These people clearly have the magic touch and the dedication to take care of any creature with any kind of special need. So I would recommend them a million times over. Honestly feeling kind of bummed we dont live in Rochester and therefore cant call on them more often.

Haley and Amanda were great daycare hosts for our dog Jager! We booked a VERY last minute daycare with them and they were exceptional. Pickup and drop off were seamless, there was active communication throughout the day and photos of Jager playing with their dogs. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely book with her again. :)

About: Hi! I’m Mary. I am a stay at home mom of 5 year old twins and a 12 year old shihtzu mix. I became a dog walker 5 days a week in September of 2024 by chance and realized how much I love it. I’ve been around animals my whole life, currently including my 8 chickens! If you’re looking for a dog walker, I walk in all weather. I can also just pop in and hang out for a bit and let them out for a potty, change litter boxes, feed, etc! I am experienced with all types of dogs, cats, and other animals and I hope to meet yours too! Currently booked for weekly walks 12-1pm on Monday Tuesday and Fridays. Only other commitment is school drop off and pickup for my twins, otherwise open! I am open to all types of animal care and have experience with elderly dogs. I have cared for big and small dogs, cats, chickens, fish, etc.

About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! As far as my own pets go, I currently keep it to my cat, fish and my wonderful Bearded Dragon, Albus. From my own pets, work experience, and love of training, I really have worked with everything from lizards to rodents to dogs to elephants! One consistency throughout my experience is my love for animals, and my passion to improve the quality of their life! Specific skills: - Puppy/Adult dog training - Hoofstock care and training (goats, horses, exotics) - Reptile care I currently work from home, so I have the availability to work from wherever I need to. This also gives me the option to walk/train during my breaks. I have weekend availability as needed as well. I am able to stay over at a pet owner’s home if needed, however I prefer to host pets in my own home whenever possible. I currently have a 1 year old mixed breed who absolutely LOVES having the company! As always, your pet’s safety is my number one concern. I am trained in identifying and understanding animal behavior and will not put your animal in a position where they do not feel safe. I am also a huge advocate for leash laws and ADA regulations protecting service dogs, so these will always be respected and enforced in my care. I am a huge advocate for animal enrichment, working as a zookeeper in the past taught me how important mental stimulation is for an animal, and how when paired with proper exercise can mitigate behavioral issues in pets. This is something I would love to bring to the table for my clients!

We were very pleased with our experience with Chelsea and Derrick. Both are very warm individuals and did a great job welcoming and caring for our 1 year old puppy for the day. Their home is on a busy road but which gave some concern but that went away after meeting them and seeing their set up for safety and supervision. Thanks to both for giving Jasper a great and safe experience.

About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. The skills and experience that I've gained in that time enable me to provide the best possible care for your pet. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

We were just passing through on a road trip and landed tickets to see the Bills play so this was a last minute book. Sierra was wonderful with our Bella who has separation anxiety. She took it slow with Bella and soon Sierra had her eating (she has NEVER eaten a meal when we are not there with her), going for walks, and napping. I can tell Sierra was great with Bella because she was happy when we picked her up and went right to sleep when we got home.

About: I’m a fun, patient, attentive and big-hearted animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for pets. Growing up with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and reptiles, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs. I’ve cared for pets ranging from reptiles and fish, to senior dogs and cats, to puplies and brand new kittens. At 19, I adopted my first dog, a Bull Mastiff, and raised him from a 6-week-old puppy to a 140-pound adult. I’ve also cared for my family’s cats after my mother passed, and I lovingly adopted a 12-year-old Cairn Terrier, providing him with care until his passing at 16.5 years. While I have no formal training, I have a natural ability to train animals with patience and love, always using a firm yet gentle approach. I’m experienced in handling a variety of species, including reptiles like ball pythons and geckos, and have even assisted with rescuing wildlife. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, my diverse experience, and my ability to provide both playful and responsible care. Your pet will feel loved, safe, and well-cared for with me! I live alone, lost the last of my own critters, and am a seasonal traveler. I go to Argentina for a couple months every winter so I can’t responsibly own pets of my own, but I am built to be around them! I need animals in my life so this is as much for me as it is for you. I work remotely so I have a lot of flexibility especially when it comes to sitting or walking from my home or town. I can be very attentive to your animal to whatever fits their comfort level. I am very active so am I game for hikes, walks, and lots of playing, but can also enjoy a nice sit and snuggle with an elderly friend. I live alone so there would be no triggers from children, other animals, etc. once they’re in my house. I live walking distance from several trails and parks. I also love taking dogs for car rides! Whatever they wish. I am very attentive so I ensure your baby will be content and cared for to the best of our ability.

About: It's Summertime!!! Bring your Pupp-a-ccinos and PuppCorn for a sleeprover to talk about. We just got a new doggie pool for the heat, and have a pop up agility course to play in.Parks nearby is Knox farm, memorial Park, BurchField and more. My car/dog mobile is set up with dog seatbelts so we can safely drive to our next fun destination( if approved by owner). I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have been working in the animal industry for over 15 years. I am able to give quality attention and care all day. License is available upon request. Proof of vaccines and flea/tick prevention required PRIOR to drop off. I try to take only one dog but there may be an overlap of a boarding client and daycare client. Are you looking for someone who can stay with your fur baby and not be kenneled? I'm your woman. Prices may vary dependent on the needs of the client and how extensive it may be. I try to give an enriching environment for all pets that I'm caring for, but if they are more mellow, then I'm very good at snuggling. I enjoy outdoor activities and love to bring any dog who wants to explore nature with me. I can take your dog out on multiple leashed walks a day. We can go to a nearby park or sunbathe on my porch. I treat all pets like they are my own family member.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I love to take my dog on walks at the beach and play in the yard with him. I am attentive to any reactions they might have to their surroundings as well. I’ve been looking for a job during the week days and I figured why not try this out to maybe help some families live their life if they’re on vacation or super busy. I have a friendly dog who will keep any pets company. I have a big yard with sun or shade if any dogs love to be outside. I also have crates if dogs need to be crated during the night or day.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Batavia

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Batavia on Rover is $29.96 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 274 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Batavia. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Batavia commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 274 sitters in Batavia, 82% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
