I don’t work a regular 9 to 5 so I am home longer than the average person I make sure to take care of all of their needs. I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!

“Jolene went above and beyond for my cat Princess. Just like her name she can be a lot to handle sometimes but Jolene really saw through to all of it. First of all, she took my booking even though I was booked for the same day. This was my first time using rover and the first time Princess has been away from me, but Jolene told me how everything works and made sure I was more than comfortable. When I got to her home I forgot Princess’ food due to how last minute everything was and Jolene went out and bought my baby some food. She had a whole room set up for Princess with toys and made it so easy for Princess to adjust to the environment. I got multiple videos, pictures and messages Of Princess and how she was doing/adjusting. She spent time with her! I genuinely could not have asked for anyone more helpful, understanding and caring. I couldn’t thank her enough for everything she did over the past 7 days and I am more than happy with this experience.”

About: I am wild about dogs, all breeds. I often think if I could go back, I might have gone to school to be a veterinarian. I grew up with dobermans, cats, riding horses and much more. I have found that most animals love me. I just lost my Golden Retriever, Nalu, after 14 amazing years. Something to be said in that she had more Facebook friends & photos than I do. I just moved down here a year ago from South Glastonbury and most of my new neighbors in Deep River have asked me to watch their animals at one time or another without any sort of solicitation so I believe that is a testament to my character and integrity. About: I grew up with dogs & cats. My parents bred Westies and we had a houseful. I’ve always had at least one dog and at least one cat until recently when I lost my most recent cat. Now Sophie, my dog, and I are on our own. We both love dogs and are looking forward to meeting some new friends I work part time for myself, so I’m very flexible and there won’t be a schedule problem. I’m sort of a homebody so I won’t be gone much other than for work I don’t have a fenced yard, at my house but I have 5 acres surrounded by miles of farmland and a playful playmate in Sophie. I have worked at a pet store so I have lots of knowledge on different types of animals and the care they need. I’m currently working part-time. Depends on my work schedule for the week, but I’m also a stay at home mom of a 6 month old. I understand how much people’s pets mean to them being a pet owner myself, therefore keeping your fur babies safe is my number 1 priority. If you give certain instructions for taking care of your pet, those instructions will be followed accurately.

I know how to take care of them, show them love and affection, and also make sure they stick to their routines and habits. My hubby and I work part time and we’re so excited to take care of your little (or big) furry kid! We can drop by and dog sit at many different times and days, so feel free to contact me with any questions or requests you might have. We’re flexible and willing to work around your schedule! I’m happy to come to your house and play with your furry baby, let them out to play or walk them or whatever else you might need or want.
