About: I have cared for dogs for over 30 years. Mine, friends etc. I have watched dogs, cats, lizards, bunnies. Please no snakes. No issue with multiple animals. I do ask that if the dogs are more than 25 lbs they walk easily without pulling on the leash. I have physical limitations and cannot safely handle strong pulling dogs for walks. This is my full time job. If I have availability I can help you. I am open for last minute bookings because I don’t have another job. I only care for dogs in the clients home. If a situation arose where I needed to care for a dog in my home I have a fully fenced large back yard and a crate for them to feel comfortable in.

About: Hi everyone! I have grown up with both cats and dogs my entire life. In fact, at my childhood home, we had seven cats at one time- even though my dad is allergic! Since moving to Winter Haven, I have missed having a furry friend around and well, that’s why I am on Rover! I currently work full time but not a traditional 9-5 because I am a pilot- which means I am only not home when I am flying! If I am unable to fulfill a request because of my travel schedule, I will be sure to let you know I am unavailable. At my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but it is a quiet neighborhood away from busy roads. My roommates currently have one dog and one cat but if your pet doesn’t get along with other animals, I can keep them separate. Just let me know!

About: I volunteered for 2 1/2 years at a local pet shelter and have been pet sitting for 10 years now! It doesn’t even feel like a job to me!! Sadly, my dog (boxer) has crossed the rainbow bridge but I have grown up around pitbulls, Rottweilers, mastiffs, Chinese cresteds and yorkies! I also love any opportunity I can to take care of a feline! I would love the opportunity to care for your animal and help keep him or her as happy as can be! I work a full time job, Monday-Friday so my availability is mainly evenings and weekends. I am available for overnight stays as long as you are okay with me going to work during the week! I am in office 3 days and can work from the house 2 days a week. I follow all house rules and make sure the pet gets the same love and attention they do on a daily basis! The priority is making sure they are happy and comfortable!

About: Life-long animal lover and future vet, dedicated to providing expert care and comfort for your furry babies. This will also be my 3rd year taking veterinary classes! I’m currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time on my hands and I’d still be doing this when school starts back up. I have a fenced in backyard and I have 2 Yorkies that love meeting other dogs and cats. I have one cat that is also very friendly.

“I can’t thank Christian enough for his attentiveness and sweetness!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life, I recently lost my 11 yr old lab Aro and missing the unconditional love of a dog. I can’t get enough of furry cuddles and playtime—I would love spoil yours too! From pet sitting the neighbors animals as a kid to in-home pet sitting for family and friends as an adult. There is no greater love than the unlimited love from our fur babies. I am retired, so very flexible to work with your schedule. I can make multiple visits to your home each day, have them come and play at my house. I have a fully fenced in backyard. I love playing ball or frisbee with them. If they prefer walks I have a great neighborhood to walk in. They will mostly be indoors snuggling with me. If your pets prefer their own home I am also available to stay in your home or drop in.

“I’m so grateful for the last-minute help! Alexander was prompt, professional, and kept me updated the entire time. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my pet was in good hands. Would definitely book again!”

“Kayla is absolutely amazing! She sends a lot of pictures/video with updates and they have a great time playing. She is fantastic with my girl Luna and we are lucky to have found her.”

About: After 24 years in the vet field, I’m enjoying caring for pets outside the walls of a hospital. I am organized and reliable. Most importantly, I have spent and will continue to spend my life devoted to caring for and loving pets! I’m currently working part time with a flexible schedule, leaving me free to care for your pets! Currently, I am offering daytime services and hope to expand in the future! I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and needs, then tailoring my time with them to accommodate those needs. I enjoy playtime, cuddle time, or simple companionship at the comfort level of the pet.

About: I’ve taken care of friends pets plenty of times when they are away, never really done an arranged agreement such as rover, but have been dog sitting for friends since I was 15! I generally walk my own dog twice a day, so if that’s something you would usually do for your dog I would be happy to do the same! Otherwise I can let them out frequently throughout the day. I love dogs so I try to be as loving as I can to them. Whatever the owners need for their pets I’m happy to do. I would only treat your pet with the care that I do for my own!

Jenifer G.
“I own two rabbits and Jenifer has helped to pet sit them on multiple occasions, we were very happy with her caregiving every time! One of the rabbits requires medication at certain times of day and Jenifer never had any issue with this and medicine was always administered properly. On every return the rabbits were always happy, healthy, and certainly cared for. Jenifer also assisted in house sitting on some of these occasions and kept everything neat and tidy while we were away. I would highly recommend Jenifer for any pet or house sitting services!”

Shaley B.
“From the moment Shaley met charger (my dog) , I could tell she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. She’s responsible, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Shaley kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. Charger came home calm, clean, and clearly well cared for — honestly, I think he missed her a little when we got back! If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, kind, and amazing with animals, I absolutely recommend Shaley. She’s one of the best dog sitters we’ve ever had.”

Chloe U.
“Chloe was a volunteer under me at our local SPCA, she is a solid handler, kind and compassionate as well as dedicated and committed. Since then she has become our pet/house sitter for anytime we go out of town. She is reliable and trustworthy. We have 5 dogs, 2 cats and a tortoise and every time we come home from a trip they show to have been well cared for happy and the house stays clean! What more could you ask for? Aside from that, anytime she visits she has a “fan club” (all of our dogs & cats) hovering around her and sitting by her. I highly recommend Chloe for all of your dog walking & pet sitting needs.”

Maryanna R.
“Maryanna is an incredible pet sitter who treats every animal as if they were her own. She's patient, loving, and extremely dependable. You can truly see how much she cares-my pets are always excited to see her! I have complete peace of mind knowing they're in such capable and compassionate hands.”

“I can’t thank Christian enough for his attentiveness and sweetness!”

Alisa R.
“I've known Alisa for years, and if there's one thing that has always stood out, it's how deeply she cares for animals. She's looked after my dogs many times, and they absolutely adore her, probably because she gives them as much love and attention as I do (maybe more, but don't tell them that!). She’s gentle, reliable, and genuinely joyful to be around pets. What I appreciate most is that she doesn’t just “watch” dogs, she connects with them. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, going for a walk, or just sitting outside in the sun, she’s happiest when she’s got a furry friend by her side. She always makes sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, you can’t do better than Alisa! She’s one of those rare people who animals just seem to gravitate toward—and once they do, she makes sure they still get all the snuggles and love they deserve!”
