About: Hi, my name is Sarah and I am a Surgical Veterinary Technician in Philadelphia, PA. On a daily basis I do everything from triaging dogs and cats for routine and non-routine surgical procedures, monitor anesthesia, recover from surgery, give treatments to sicks pets, as well as give vaccines to healthy pets during wellness appointments. I have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages as well all different temperaments. I currently work full-time, but only work 3 days a week. As I currently do not have any pets or kids I have the availability to give all of my attention to your furbabies. I own a house with my boyfriend and we currently do not have any pets. Our house is rancher with a large fenced-in yard where your pups have the space to run around. Our neighborhood is very quiet with not much foot traffic which allows your anxious pets to be in a quiet environment.

About: I've always been an animal lover! ❤️ Currently own 2 cats, but love dogs as well. With such varied breeds and personalities, each one is adorable in thier own way! For the duration of my adult life, I've worked as a CNA & Nurse in either long term care facilities or for in home health visits through an agency. I love being a caregiver, but physical lifting and the ammount of verbal/physical abuse working with the general population has begun to take a toll on my own health. I use Rover to supplement my income and spend less time in high stress environments while still doing what I love and believe to be my life's purpose. I always ensure, unless asked otherwise, that the pets I care for are fed on time at least twice a day, are walked for about 30 mins or longer at least twice a day, are let out into their yard to run around if possible, I prioritize spending time playing with them and giving them space when they need it, and ensure to follow specific instructions if administering medication is necessary.
