About: On a personal level, I have cared for and been family with dogs my entire life. As I got older, I found my current dog who has transformed my love and respect for dogs into something indescribable. After rescuing her at 3 months old, I have trained and raised her into a beautiful and fully-realized working-line dog. I have experience in advanced training of dogs that ranges from day-to-day obedience to scent imprinting and mind puzzles for high-drive/working breeds that require the mental stimulation. Regardless of your dog's personal needs, I will ensure that those needs are met and addressed in a fulfilling and rewarding way that will leave them feeling loved and satisfied. Depending on the week, you can expect to see me available up to five times in a week! I will do weekends and holidays without question. Every pet has their own specific and individualized needs. This knowledge will help me determine what is needed for your pet, such as longer/fast-paced walks to exercise a high-drive breed or a leisurely stroll for the beloved seniors. Drop-Ins will entail evaluating your pet's needs and addressing them accurately and satisfactorily.

With a cat who is diabetic and requires twice-daily insulin shots at fairly evenly spaced intervals, I have found it extremely difficult to find someone local who is both willing and able to take on the job. Throw in a couple other indoor cats AND a couple semi-feral community cats in the backyard, and it becomes even harder to find a responsible person willing to take the assignment. Even though she doesn't exactly live next door (more like 25 minutes away), Megan adjusted her schedule to accommodate our family through the fourth of July and even tended to our garden during a ridiculous heatwave. I was thrilled to find Megan on relatively short notice and am crossing my fingers that she will once again be available to care for our brood the next time we're out of town!”

I am a full time biology teacher who has her weeknights, weekends and summers off to hang with your fur babies 🐾 While I was getting my teaching degree, I worked part time at Petsmart in the pet care department where I gained valuable knowledge for the needs and wants of pets. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog and 3 Torti cats ages 8-11. I have always had dogs and cats growing up of all sizes so no fur baby is too small or too large for some cuddles! I have also had some not so common pets like hamsters, fish (fresh and saltwater), frogs, turtles and even an Eyelash Crested Gecko! Being a teacher I have learned how to be compassionate, caring and unbiased and I carry these traits into my pet services too! All fur babies deserve to be loved and cared for with the utmost respect and compassion. I believe you can never have too many pictures to capture all of the silliest moments with your “fur”ever family members 🐾 During the school year, Sept - Early June, I can work weeknights after 4 and weekends all day. For the summer months I can work Late June - August any time frame. 🗓️ I am cautious about making sure all doors are locked and fences are locked so no fur babies can make a jailbreak. I am well versed in using different types of harnesses and how to correctly apply them. I always make sure to bring a portable water dish just incase your fur baby needs a drink mid-walk and I make sure to thoroughly clean it between each use. I require to have an emergency contact person in case of an emergency and would like to know what vet/emergency vet you prefer. A meet and greet with you and your fur baby is always the best way to start a fun and safe relationship!

About: Hi there, dogs are my second nature and I'm super excited to become best friends with your furry companion! I work with all kinds of dogs that rotate on a daily basis, from Yorkies to Pitbulls!
