About: I've owned multiple small breeds in my life (mainly Chihuahuas), as well as pet sitting for large breeds like Boxers, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. I regularly take care of my friends cat in their home during vacations, as well as taking care of her medications. I have experience with larger dogs as I grew up with a rottweiler, and now have a 120lb Leonberger- so they are not an issue for me at all. About: I have lived with dogs my entire life but I truly started caring for dogs when I was 11 years old. My family adopted an Akita who was 100lbs+ and I helped care and train him from ages 3 months to 8 years. I have experience with medium and very large dogs, specifically reactive dogs. Emma arrived for drop-ins as scheduled, had excellent communication, and was very patient and understanding as my old man cat was having a particularly difficult time when I was away for a weekend. She tracked him down wherever he was squeezed under sleeping, took care of his symptoms that had flared up from some chronic conditions, and was very communicative about how to provide the best care (including decisions around his insulin injections) given the situation. I'd be happy to book her again!
