About: Hi! I'm an animal care professional who really enjoys working with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and taken care of when their people are not around. 🐾 I have a lot of hands on experience caring for dogs and other animals. I have worked in animal shelters and currently working as an Assistant Manager at a highly-rated dog boarding and daycare facility. From these experiences I have learned a lot about animal body language, behavior, handling, how to use a leash and how to create a calm space for pets that have different personalities and needs. I also know how to give medications, including special kinds of medications and injections when it is needed. I have experience seeing signs that animals are stressed or that there is a conflict between them. I know how to step in when it is necessary and I focus a lot on preventing problems and keeping every pet safe. No matter if your pet needs a fun walk a visit at home some company while you're away or careful attention to their daily routine I can offer care that is tailored to what makes them most comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I take that duty very seriously. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule! I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care around my work hours. I’m generally available for evening drop-in visits and walks, and I can also offer overnight house sitting on weekends when I’m not scheduled to work. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, companionship, and care they need while you’re away. I’ll always communicate my availability clearly and do my best to accommodate your pet’s schedule! My priority is creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where your pet can feel secure while you’re away. My professional experience has taught me how to recognize animal body language, identify signs of stress or discomfort, safely manage different personalities, and prevent potentially unsafe situations before they happen. I take introductions slowly and respect each pet’s individual boundaries, whether they are outgoing and playful or shy and nervous. I also understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, crate routines, and other care needs as closely as possible. You can expect honest communication, dependable care, and updates so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and confident while they’re in my care.

About: I am trained in CPR for cats & dogs. I have been around animals my whole life, and have grown up with multiple veterinarians in the family. I am the kind of human who pulls off to the side of the road when they see a bag or box to make sure there isn’t an animal(s) inside. I have 2 cats of own! A three year old tortoiseshell named Whiskee Sour and a 2year old mixed breed white kitty named Sweet Purrlot (like Merlot). And no, I do not drink LOL. I had roommates with both cats & dogs when I lived in my college town and I pet sit for them frequently. I am happy to service families with any type of fur-baby. They are all loved by me! I just finished my 5th semester at WVU and have the entire summer off (until the beginning of September)! I only have 2 trips planned (one at the end of May and another at the end of July) thus far this summer. I am very flexible with my time. I am great at following any instructions and warnings you give me when going into your home- I prefer crystal clear instructions on what to do and how to handle your babies. I want to give them the best care possible!

About: Since I was five years old when we adopted our family puppy, I have been involved in taking care of dogs. I have also over 350 hours of shelter volunteer experience in walking dogs, giving medications, and obedience training. Since I am hoping to be a vet one day, I am always wanting to meet new animals and give them the best care possible! I currently work part-time, 3-5 days a week from 8-4. I can usually get away to let your dog out at lunch if needed. Bottom line is if I am pet-sitting for you, your animal will be my priority! I do not have the capacity to care for your pet in my house, but I can provide whatever level of care you need in for your pet in your own home! If you need me to stay the night, I can do that. I am a detail-oriented person so whatever your pet needs I feel confident I can provide it.

About: I have had dogs and various pets in my household since I was born and adore any animal. I am experienced in caring for puppies, senior dogs, and both large and small breeds. I understand that each pet has different needs and personalities and love helping to make a loving and safe space for them while their people are away. I am currently a full time Biology student at Marshall University. I can walk/check in on your pet(s) in the mornings, midday, or in the evenings. I am available to stay with your pet any nights. I will follow any instructions and schedule given. I like to make sure that pets get plenty of play and interaction time during the day and make it a priority to spend day time with your pets.

About: I’ve been recommended to many by word of mouth, so I decided to bring my business to Rover as well! There’s nothing I love more than being able to provide comfort for your pets whenever you’re away. Me and your pets will go on walks, play dates, and anything else they enjoy! Be prepared for lots of photos of us enjoying our days together! I am working part time while in graduate school. Ideally, I am available for overnight stays, whether it be for the weekend or two weeks! I also have sitter backups for any extra care needed in which I’m not able to tend to. I’m currently in graduate school at Morehead State in Ky and will be commuting twice weekly until May. I haven’t dog sat in my own home before because I have 2 dogs and a pig of my own. Caring for your home and pets is what is most important to me! I will always be easy to reach, whether it be by phone, text, or FaceTime! I will also water your plants, pick up your mail, take out the trash, etc.

About: I have experience working in dog boarding, pet sitting and pet owning. Can clean, feed, provide exercise and a safe space to be in. I also have experience with giving medications as needed. I work during the week days but im available on the weekends, evenings, nights and early mornings. Depending on where you live i can even do let outs for mid-day potty breaks. I live in a small clean home making it easy to keep watch and protect your furry friend. I also live near a prefect and safe area for walks/runs. In others homes i will respect their space and maintain a clean environment while I love and care for their pets

About: I used to be a kennel technician who walked dogs, practiced training, while offering playtime for them and cleaning up their space. I’ve always loved caring for animals and wildlife and want to branch out on my own. I’m also a college student currently! I have a very flexible schedule right now, all that’s needed is to message me and see how our availabilities line up! I integrate your pets life into mine. I have a variety of treats and food on hand, but will follow whatever diet your dog needs. I also have the time for high energy dogs or dogs that need training through e-collars or etc. I also own lots of toys and a large crate, or litter box if need be.
