“Karlie took great care of my pup during his stay. He got along well with her dog as well. They got a lot of both play and nap time together! He also came home with a cute bandana! (Thanks again for that). She is responsive, kind and truly loves to care for animals.”

“Jamie is absolutely amazing ? I would give her 10 stars if I could ! Riley had so much fun, she kept us updated and sent the cutest pictures! 100% recommend and will book with her every time ❤️”

“Ty was great! We have always left our dogs at home with family caring for them. It was the first stay for our dogs Ollie & Izzy. Ollie fit in right away but Izzy had some separation anxiety at first. Ty was great with her and gave us daily updates, pictures, & videos. So glad to have found someone like Ty to watch our fur babies. Now we are looking forward to our next trip knowing our dogs are well taken care of. Thanks Ty!”

“If I could give Laura and her family more than 5 stars, I would. I was initially apprehensive about leaving my dog Lou Lou with someone I didn’t know but after connecting with Laura felt immediately comfortable. She was so wonderful to my dog and sent lots of pictures and updates which I appreciated. Her kids read her, walked her, played with her and cuddled her, making her feel right at home. Lou Lou also made a new friend, Tater Tot who she got to play in their fenced in yard with. I would highly recommend her if you are in need of care for your dog. The only concern I had is Lou Lou wouldn’t want me to come back ;)”

“10/10 ! Experience was overall great ! Communication was great and She responded so fast while I was out of town trying to find a sitter . Her family was so welcoming and friendly! Me and my boyfriend knew our 10 mo puppy was in great hands. It was a great choice! Definitely will be my go to when I need a sitter !! Thanks so much again !”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is a lifetime of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up with boxer dogs starting at age five, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding breed traits, energy levels, and behavior. As an adult, I adopted a middle-aged rescue Plott Hound–Boxer mix. Caring for him into his senior years—especially managing arthritis while still honoring his need for daily walks—gave me extensive experience with senior care, mobility limitations, and compassionate end-of-life support. I currently have a one-year-old Golden Retriever–Australian Shepherd puppy, so I am very comfortable with high-energy dogs, consistent exercise routines, and reinforcing good behavior through activity and structure. We lead an active lifestyle that includes long walks, hikes through the city forest, and swimming in the river during the summer, so I’m happy to meet the needs of dogs who thrive on physical and mental stimulation. I also regularly care for my parents’ senior boxer for extended periods during the winter months. She requires a specialized Freshpet diet that must be prepared fresh and cut into small pieces for each meal, so I’m very attentive to detailed feeding routines and special dietary needs. I’m known to be her favorite person, which I think speaks to my patience, calm demeanor, and ability to build trust—especially with older dogs. Overall, I bring a balance of energy, responsibility, and genuine love for dogs, whether they’re playful puppies or seniors who need extra care and understanding. Pet care fits really naturally into our routine. I work from home some days during the week, and my boyfriend, Brad, is usually home every day, so someone is almost always around. We’re used to building walks, feeding, playtime, and downtime into our days, and it’s all very consistent for Livie. She’s not left alone for long stretches, and we’re very attentive to her needs throughout the day. I care for pets based on each client’s preferences and the pet’s individual needs, always prioritizing safety, consistency, and comfort. I closely follow any routines already in place, including feeding times, exercise schedules, and medication or special care instructions, because I believe sticking to a familiar schedule helps pets feel secure and relaxed. For safety reasons, I prefer to keep dogs on leashes or long leads unless they are in a fully secure, fenced area that they cannot get over or out of. I do not allow cats outdoors, as I believe indoor-only care is the safest option. Exercise is important to me, and I tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, health, and energy level—whether that’s relaxed walks, playtime, or longer adventures for more active dogs.
“Julie was friendly and communication was easy! She was very flexible and accommodating regarding drop off and pick up times. We knew Winnie was well cared for and we appreciated the photos that we received!”

“I wish giving over 5 stars was an option! Rave reviews for Ashley! This was our first time using Rover and what a wonderful experience it was. Our 18 month old rescue LOVED his stay. Immediately he was very comfortable at Ashley’s home and with her wonderful dogs. I knew he was in great hands and he absolutely got a whole lot of TLC. Ashley gave us daily updates and tired our pup out! I really believe he was so entertained he didn’t have time to miss us. Endless thanks to Ashley and we will definitely be in contact with her for future stays!!! She’s the best!”

About: I’ve pet sit for many friends and many different animals. I am reliable to feed, walk, and potty your animals. I’m comfortable around all animals. I’ve grown up having pets and adore all pets. I am available most days for intermittent care for pets during the week. My work schedule is consistent, 9:30-630 Monday-Friday during the summer and 12-6:30 during the school year. I am a student at UWL so I have classes but normally am able to create a schedule with you around them fairly easy. I have grown up with a very active family because we have always had very active dog breeds, I love taking them for walks/runs and would love to do the same for your pet. I have no problems staying in and playing with toys as well if that’s what your pet prefers. I also have grown up with cats and am willing to care for them as well.
“Our 3 boys enjoyed staying with Jenny and her pups. She took great care of them and loved the pictures and updates she sent. She is super easy to work with and boy oh boy, we're our guys tired when they got home. They had such a great time playing with Jenny and her pups. Highly recommend! We already have future dates booked with her!”

“What a great experience! Lauren communicates well and shred lots of pictures. Buddy got along with her dogs. Best of all Buddy felt comfortable enough to eat. Highly recommend Lauren.”

“Matt and his family were so accommodating and welcoming to S’mores! His kids were so sweet and I believe they had the best time with their furry guest. It was a short notice request and communication was smooth and straightforward. We will definitely book with Matt again when we’re in the area! Thank you Matt and family!”

“She was absolutely amazing, caring, loving all into one. This was the first time my dog was away from me. It was hard on both of us. Stephanie was awesome she did all she could to make us comfortable. She has the most cutest well behaved dogs as well. I would definitely use her again for dog sitting. It’s very difficult to someone with your fur baby, I am so happy I found her.”

“My dogs had a good time with Janelle. She took good care of my dogs. If you are into receiving a crazy amount of updates throughout the day, you will probably be disappointed. I could tell my dogs were happy when I picked them up, and that is what matters to me.”

“Monica was so great with our dog Finn while we were away for a weekend. She was super responsive and sent us pictures to keep us updated on how he was doing. Would highly recommend her!”
About: Hi, my name is Leah! I am currently a student looking for some extra work to help me with school! I chose Rover because animals are one of my biggest loves! I have always been an animal lover, I am the type of person that points out every dog I see to talk about how cute it is. I grew up with a Brittany Spaniel with a ton of energy. We got her when I was pretty young so for a while I did more of observing when it came to taking care of her but as I got older I took on more responsibility with her. A few years ago my sister and I adopted our newest baby, pictured in 90% of my photos (she lives with my sister now since I am in college). She is a lot more laid back and would sleep all day if she could so I have had experience with both high and low energy dogs. To me pets aren't just pets, they are a member of your family and that is why their safety and well-being are of my upmost priority. I know that you want your baby to be with someone that you trust and that they will love and I want to be that for your family! I am currently a student and work part time but my schedule is pretty open! On weekdays my mornings/early afternoon are open as well as after 5:30 in the evening (Fridays I am free all day) and I do not work on the weekends so those are pretty much always open! Your pets safety is always my number one priority! When caring for your pet I want them to feel safe and loved and I will do whatever needed to do so!
