I was initially apprehensive about leaving my dog Lou Lou with someone I didn’t know but after connecting with Laura felt immediately comfortable. She was so wonderful to my dog and sent lots of pictures and updates which I appreciated. Her kids read her, walked her, played with her and cuddled her, making her feel right at home. Lou Lou also made a new friend, Tater Tot who she got to play in their fenced in yard with. I would highly recommend her if you are in need of care for your dog. About: I have taken care of my black cat, Kitty for 4 years and my other two cats, Whiskers and Oreo for 2 years. Kitty always tells me when to back off and I do because they deserve personal space too. Whiskers and Oreo are quite affectionate, so I do my best in giving them all the pets they deserve. When I met one of my friend's cat, they were skittish of me since I was a new person to them. So I took my time with them by letting them approach me first and sniff my hand. I made sure not to give direct eye contact towards them since that will make them nervous. I also talked in a soft tone so my friend's cat doesn't get scared by me. It took a bit of time, but my friend's cat let me pet them, which I was very happy to do. It made me feel special. I believe I'm adaptable to how I should approach cats when I first meet them.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had two dogs of our own for 11 years. We enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. I will stick to your potty schedule for your animal as well as feeding. As for exercise, I am up to whatever your dog or cat prefers! I can go for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment with feeding time or play with toys. I am always willing to go to nearby park with your pup if preferred! As soon as we met Ty and his pups, we knew she’d have a great time - he was warm and caring, and his dogs and the daycare pups were wonderful with her when we dropped her off. He sent regular photos and updates while we were gone, and she was happy and content when we picked her up. We highly recommend Ty for any puppies or dogs who want enrichment at daycare or boarding (and this is from a super-picky helicopter dog mom, lol)!”

About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time. About: I grew up with dogs and other animals my entire life. I enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. I am home full time so your pet will have full time care. I have recently retired and I am available to care for your pet full time on week days as well as weekends! Your pet is never alone and gets all the attention she/he will ever need! So bring their bed, feeding dishes, toys and their brush so we can take care of all their needs. I have a fenced in yard. I always focus on maintaining each pet's normal routine— whether that's mealtime schedules, daily walks and playtime. All pets are allowed on the furniture.

When caring for pets in a client’s home or my own, I take time to learn their feeding schedule, potty routine, energy level, favorite activities, training expectations, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I adjust my care style based on the individual dog rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, understood, and cared for while maintaining as much consistency and routine as possible.
