About: Hi there! I’m a longtime dog lover, mom of three, and an experienced pet sitter who firmly believes dogs are family. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and personalities and genuinely love getting to know each pup’s unique quirks. My home has one friendly dog of our own, so your pup will have a furry friend around. I live in a townhouse with a small yard, but that doesn’t stop us from getting outside. Daily walks, playtime, fresh air, and plenty of couch cuddles are all part of the deal. I’m also comfortable administering medication in pill form when needed. With three kids ages 6–11, patience, flexibility, and a little chaos are basically part of my daily routine. 😉 Most importantly, I’ll treat your pup like one of my own, keep you updated with photos, and make sure they get plenty of love while you’re away. Since I work from home, pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, let them out as needed, and work in walks and playtime around my schedule. I also have flexibility throughout the day for feeding, medication, potty breaks, and extra cuddles. My home is a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment where your pup can feel at home while you’re away. I have one friendly dog of my own, and I’m happy to provide a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. Since I work from home, pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I have a small townhouse yard for quick potty breaks, plus daily walks and playtime for exercise and enrichment. I also have a designated quiet space where a dog can take a break when needed, whether that’s behind a baby gate or in their crate—whichever you and your pup are most comfortable with. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding instructions, medication needs, and any special preferences you provide. About: I just recently had to put my 14.5 year old Yorkie Poo to rest. I miss having a buddy at my house but not ready to take on another animal full time yet. I supported my dog through pancreatitis, congestive heart failure and other health considerations. We had him since he was a couple months old until his golden years. I have watched family members, friends, Rover friend's and neighbor’s dogs and always treat them like my own! Additionally, I have stopped into cat owner's homes to check in on them, clean the litter box, feed/water them, and spend time with them! I currently work from home as a Master’s level Social Worker and have very flexible hours. My children are very comfortable and respectful to animals. My children are at school during the day and will be home during the summer months. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. About: I’ve grown up with having both cats and dogs of my own my entire life so I know the proper way to care for them. I understand both the needs of animals and how to tend to those specific needs. I love all kinds of animals and spending time with them so much that I would love to go into some type of career where I can be around them and care for them. I’ve always had positive experiences when around animals and have never had any problems being able to connect with them. I would prefer walking smaller dogs but have no problem sitting both large and small dogs/ any size dog. I would also be happy to take care of and watch cats also.
