She communicated the day before her scheduled sit and arrived promptly at an agreed upon time. She asked all the appropriate questions about feeding, Dexter's daily routine, and what she could do to keep him comfortable during our absence. Deborah communicated during her sit to let us know that all was well. We returned to a happy dog and a tidy house. Would recommend Deborah and we will be using her services again.”

About: Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for nearly two decades. My attention to detail never goes unnoticed and I am confident in my abilities to comfort your pet(s) by making them feel special and safe! I have experience with all kinds of creatures — dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents/ferrets, fish, and waterfowl, at all stages of life. Yes, even your beloved seniors. I’m a parent/caregiver to a child with disabilities and while that does not affect my ability to care for animals, it can limit some of my time due to my child’s day-to-day needs, appointments, etc. I update my calendar accordingly to reflect my availability. With that said, most of our appointments are virtual or in-home and I am a stay at home mom so I still have plenty of time for pet care. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs and I am always nearby supervising. I allow pets on furniture and treat them just like my own when I’m watching pets in my home. Instructions regarding potty breaks, feeding, kennel time, medications, etc., are always followed if given.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Much more familiar with big working dogs with high drive like huskies, German shepherds, and cattle dogs. But I love taking care of them all! The current fluff ball in my house (housemates pup) is my first time regularly looking after a smaller dog but she’s kinda a big dog in a little body as she loves getting out for walks and trail runs just as my as my shepherd did. I’m currently only employed part time and work from home. So flexible hours and looking for extra reasons to get out of the house and active this summer. Unfortunately my home does not have a fenced in yard but there are walking trails nearby and a fenced in dog park close by. My pup is friendly with other dogs. I’m available to take care of your furball in your home if that is better for you.

“Wes was great with all three of my dogs. He did a meet and greet prior to staying with them. He is caring and has compassion for the dogs. They felt at home with him and even my timid pup warmed up to him quickly. He gave my older pup his pain medicine. He’s great with young and old dogs. He reached out quickly when one of my dogs was acting ill. He left my home in excellent condition as well. Thank you, Wes, for caring for my pups when I had to be away for work.”

About: If you’re looking for a safe, loving place for your dog while you’re away, I’d love to help! I grew up surrounded by animals on a Japanese maple farm with over 20 horses and lots of dogs, both indoor and working dogs, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and training backgrounds. I am a student and only have one in-person class this term, giving me lots of availability for quality time with your pup! I live in a cute, quiet neighborhood near a park and walking trail, and I usually go for walks in the mornings and a couple miles before dinner when my partner comes home from work (weather permitting). I’d happily bring your dog along for those little adventures so they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. I believe mental and physical exercise is very important for all breeds! After walks and a lot of playing, I make sure to keep track of any supplements and food schedules needed (usually by setting reminders and alarms on my phone) I also know how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so I like to send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. About: I've owned dogs since I was 8. Almost 20 years. I've done all my own training. I've trained puppies, administered shots and medication to senior dogs and cats, and everything between. I also have knowledge with rodents, cats, horses and other farm animals. I work 3 12 hour shifts Friday through Sunday. I get home around 6:30 those days but drive in the Yamhill/McMinnville area so stopping in for a quick walk or dinner wouldn't be a problem at all. My schedule Monday through Thursday is completely wide open for walking, drop ins, or pet sitting, however I will not be able to pet sit Thursday night through Sunday. I have 5 dogs who are get along very well with other dogs once properly introduced. They range from 25 to 65 pounds, most of them are very active. I have extra kennels but I also have a designated dog room with a comfy couch that two of my five sleep on at night. I live on quarter of an acre with a fully fenced in yard.
