Chanahyah was amazing! I loved seeing the pictures everyday and knowing my Gemi was truly cared for! She made sure to ask about the temperature when it got cold at night and was very attentive to Hemi’s wants and needs! Definitely recommend for drop ins or sitting!

Kelsey has been amazing with my cats. She’s always on time, makes sure they’re fed, and gives them lots of attention while I’m away. Joaquin and Emma absolutely love her, which says a lot. It’s such a relief knowing they’re being cared for by someone who genuinely loves animals. I would definitely recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

About: I've been caring for family and friends' dogs since I was 15. Currently, I help train future service dogs with canine companions. I also have two fur babies of my own whom I love. I'm currently working full-time at the Omaha Country Club as a pool service lead. My schedule changes from week to week, but I am available for most of the day during the week and all day on Sundays. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have yard chains available. I currently crate my dogs when they are not at home; otherwise, they have free rein of the house. I want to keep overnight visits in the dogs' home, as I do not want to disrupt anyone's safe space.

I cannot praise Alyssa enough! There are no words to express my overwhelming gratitude for the level of care that Mia received. I was in CA and got a call from my fiancé that Mia was not eating and having frequent accidents. Alyssa brought Mia chicken, broth and her favorite treats to try and encourage her to eat ...thinking it was emotional due to my absence. But then she was getting worse and Alyssa took Mia to the vet and stayed on the phone with me until I could speak with the Vet staff because my fiancé could not leave work. She even made sure to be on call in case we needed her to pick up Mia if I couldn't get back to TX on time. Mia had emergency surgery and is doing great! Alyssa made sure that Mia and I had everything we needed during this scary situation. Thank you Alyssa!!!

About: I have sat pets and homes for almost 8 years now. I always make sure that the pets get any medication or exercise necessary while their loved ones are away. I am a school teacher, so from Monday-Friday I am not at home most of the day. As soon as I get off work I would be with the pets all the time and on the weekends as well. I do like to meet the pet(s) before the family wants to leave so the animal can trust me in a 1 on 1 setting.

Adrianna took the worries away when I was out of town. She was very sweet, communicated very well and did exactly what I asked of her! My dogs are very high energy and she handled them so well and made sure they were worn out just like I wanted! She sent multiple pictures throughout the days and seeing those pictures put my mind at so much ease. I highly recommend Adrianna and will be using her again in the future!

About: Now that I have your attention, I'll tell you a bit more about me. I worked over a year at Petco so I have experience with many pet varieties. All creatures hold a special place in my heart. I have been dog sitting since I was about 10, so I have plenty of experience giving your pets the love and care they require . I am CPR certified and lifeguard trained so you can rest easy knowing I take safety seriously. While your sweet little (or big!) pupper and I will have lots of fun, his/her safety is my first priority. You will come home to a happy and healthy fur baby! I look forward to meeting him or her. I work part time so I have plenty of time to bring your pups to the dog park at Camp Barkley, walk the trail at ACU, or play fetch in the backyard. If your little ones prefers snuggles at home, I am down for a movie night as well. Your dogs will get all the special attention they deserve! I have a senior dog named Baby, but no one has told her she is old yet! She still gets the zoomies and gives us all a run for our money. She loves life as queen of the household. She gets 3-4 walks daily and enjoys her hip and joint medicine that we have "forgotten to tell her" isn't a treat! Your pups will receive the same level of dedication and love that I have given her for 14 years.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, and lizards since I was 12. People have had me take care of their pets multiple times and I have had new clients within the last few years. I absolutely love animals and will do all that I can to make your fur baby happy ❤️ I am currently working part time and attending school but I am available at various times throughout the day to check in on your animals or take them for walks every day! I have my own dog who loves to play with other dogs, so if I’m doing visits I am more than happy to take your pet to the dog park with mine, as well as walk them together! (Or alone if your dog is more comfortable that way)

About: Hello! My name is Ahravia and I am very passionate about animals. I am extremely outgoing and I enjoy spending my free-time doing outdoor activities with my pets (hiking, roller-skating, biking and dog park adventures)! I have extensive knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine and i have plenty of experience caring for all kinds of animals different sizes and shapes. I do offer basic training and obedience so if you are in need of these services please inquire! I am very flexible and easy going and would love to start advertising my pet sitting services. I provide exceptional care and I have many options as to meeting client and pet needs. I am able to provide food, bedding and all the love they would need. I also have two dogs that would love some extra company but I can still make any accommodations to a pet that is more comfortable solo by making alternate arrangements. I have transportation and the means to provide care to geriatric patients and/or pets who require medication(s)/injections etc. I am able to cater to any special needs or circumstances. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-babes!✨ I work from home so I am available 24/7 and very flexible. I am versatile in providing care and have 4 years of professional experience caring for pets. I have owned and cared for pets all of my life and I have a very trustworthy and consistent reputation. If you are interested in boarding your pet at my home I have a fully fenced in yard, bedding, food and treats. I always allow couch cuddles and I provide a lot of exercise. If you are looking for house-sitting services i have transportation so I can still provide identical care. I work from home so it is incorporated in my day to day. We do alot of inside play and activities along with daily walks at the park and I try to always give them an opportunity to be off leash in a local fully fenced in area where we play fetch or they just play with each other. I have hosted dogs who don’t care to play with my dogs so I am happy to offer a solo experience and lots of 1 on 1 time to ensure they get the opportunity to drain any pent up energy and allow them to relax at home. I do like to do lots of training and fun activities that offer mental stimulus as I feel that is just as important as physical activity for our fur babies. I am incredibly attentive and always prepared or expecting of what they may need. I like to have a routine and a schedule to help with any anxiety or nerves. We start the day with a walk outside and potty break, then I will feed breakfast.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Baird stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
