About: I know I could never replace you but I would be so happy to keep your pet company while you are away. I love to take pets out for a walk, work on teaching them new tricks, or just hang with them around the house. I have experience with all kinds of animals from fish to alpacas and so much in between. I have worked with day old kittens, bottle fed a squirrel, and cared for a dog through its old age and into its passing. No matter what stage of life your pet is in, I can be a gentle and fun caregiver to keep your special friend company. Currently, I am working full-time. My work schedule is typically 7hrs a day or less. I enjoy going for walks and hanging out on the beach but can adjust my plans as needed to be present for your pet. I am a responsible house sitter. I believe in leaving places and pets better than I found them in any way that I can. I keep the house tidy and try to teach pets or just show them a good time during the time that I have with them.

“Brittany is awesome and she is my new go to when I need my dog looked after. I recently moved to the area and have been looking for someone to look after my dog when I have to travel. She kept in constant communication with me; provided photos and videos daily; and even picked up an Easter gift for him.”

About: I absolutely love dogs and cats and have over 13 years of experience with my own dog as well as taking care of family and friends pets! I have lived with and worked on training with a number of dogs and cats and feel very confident in my abilities with all animals. I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to prioritize house and pet sitting. I currently work remotely so I am able to accept same day bookings depending on my schedule - but this allows me to make a schedule change very easily! I respect and love each pet as if it were my own. I know routines and expectations are very important to animals, so being able to accommodate to their routine is very important, as well as being able to read their body language and respect their needs.

I am lucky enough to have heaps of friends with dogs , and often walk their dogs and pet sit when needed. I have also hiked the entire length of the Pacific Crest Trail; so I’m happy to take dogs on nice long walks. I love hiking/ walking , animals , and I would love to be able to help your family out . Currently I have a pretty flexible schedule and am willing to work with you on what’s best for your dogs . I can also work weekends and holidays . I am currently living in Kill Devil Hills, NC and am willing to travel to the surrounding areas. I am a wildlife biologist that works Monday through Friday. I usually get off work around 4 pm and would love to be able help out with your fur babies. I make sure the dogs have a comfortable place to rest with plenty of enrichment items available. About: Hi my name is Megan and I am a dog mom of 2. I am very experienced with taking care of pets. I have dealt with dogs of all sizes and never fail to show love to them. Every dog deserves to be happy and I make it my mission to make their little hearts full every time I am with them. I do all my own personal care and grooming to take care of my dogs and bring that attribute to the job. I love taking them on walks because the fresh air lifts their spirits and it brings me joy to see a little doggy smile. I pay careful attention to them, especially around other dogs and ensure a safe adventure for the furry friends of ours every time. As a teacher, I have a structured routine during the school year, but I always make time for my pets—five dogs, two cats, and four chickens. Each morning starts with feeding and checking on their health. The dogs go for walks or play in the yard, the cats enjoy toys and affection, and the chickens get time outside their coop. Daily care also includes refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, and tidying up the coop and yard. Weekly tasks involve deeper cleaning, grooming the dogs and cats, and washing food and water bowls. These routines help keep everyone healthy and happy. Since I have summers off, I’m able to dedicate even more time to their care. I spend extra time bonding with each animal, offering enrichment and affection. Pet care is a big part of my life, and I take pride in giving my animals the attention and love they need every single day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and loving environment tailored to each animal’s unique needs. In my own home, I care for five dogs, two cats, and four chickens, so I follow a structured routine that includes daily feeding, fresh water, exercise, bathroom clean up, grooming, and plenty of love and attention. I also incorporate playtime and enrichment activities to keep them mentally and emotionally engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely to ensure continuity in the pet’s routine. This includes feeding at scheduled times, administering medication if needed, regular walks or playtime, cleaning litter boxes or cages, and providing companionship. I also make sure the home is left tidy and that the pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away.
