About: I have grown up with many dogs and I volunteer at my local shelter walking dogs now so I really love being with all dogs! I work full time but I have some flexibility during the days here and there and I am free all evenings throughout the week and all weekends I provide individualized care and attention for each pet. If I can tell a pet wants to be alone, I will let them do their thing. If they want to play, I will play with them. I will read the dog and cater to what they want to do!

“Megan was so wonderful!! She was very communicative and took lots of pictures of our babies each visit. She had to administer transdermal medicine for one of my cats twice a day and did so with ease! She even swept and vacuumed around their litter boxes (which was definitely not an expectation). I would 100% rebook with her 🤗”

About: I became a full-time professional pet- and house-sitter in July 2021. Since the majority of my time is spent sitting in the homes of others, I gave up my own residence a couple of years ago and became a nomad of sorts. I split my time sitting mostly between Wayne County, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA, but I also regularly get referrals in Philadelphia, Maryland, and North Carolina. The great thing about this for pet parents is that I'm never worried about stopping back to my home to check on anything, collect mail, deal with maintenance of any kind, etc - your home will actually 100% be my home for the duration of my stay! Prior to beginning pet care professionally, I had both cats and dogs growing up. I also pet-sit for friends regularly. I quickly make friends with most animals and I am especially known for winning over choosy pets who don't like strangers. Many of my clients actually schedule their time away from home around my availability because of how bonded their pets become to me! I will do everything I can to make sure your furry friend is happy and comfortable on a little staycation of its own while you're away, so you can travel worry-free. A few notes about my rates: -The prices quoted here reflect standard care, e.g., staying overnight, offering 2-3 feedings, doing a morning/midday/night walk or potty break, scooping litter once per day, regular snuggles and some playtime. Before I confirm these rates for bookings, though, I will need to learn more about the needs of your pet(s). E.g., Are they on medications; if so, how are they administered and how often? How many potty breaks or walks will they need per day? How long can they be left alone? Do they sleep through the night? Is it common for them to have accidents in the home that need cleaned up? Is any grooming care needed? -In addition to the above, I will also aim to have a clear sense of what level of home care is desired. E.g., Collecting mail and keeping an eye for packages? Washing used linens? Sanitizing kitchen and bathroom before departure? Vacuuming, sweeping, or mopping? Trash or recycling days? Plant care? Any outdoor tasks (e.g., water plants or grass, snow removal)? -I welcome sitting opportunities of any length. If you're scheduling a trip of 10+ days, we can discuss a discounted daily rate. Pet care is my primary work, so it's the crux of my routine! I also do some freelance work remotely so pet care always fits well into my schedule any day of the week. It's easy and enjoyable for me to take breaks to ensure that furry friends receive regular walks and/or snuggles, plus they can hang with me if I'm working. For dogs who like going on adventures, I am always happy to take them on longer walk/hikes, as I'm an active and outdoorsy person. But I'm also quite a homebody in general, so I will definitely be a couch potato with pets that don't go out exploring too. I will do my best to keep their eating and bathroom break schedule on their normal routine while you are away. I will gladly snuggle them at night in bed if your pets are permitted on the furniture and can ensure observing any rules of the house in relation to where the pet can/can't access. I'm a tidy person who is known by my clients for high-quality care of both the pets and the home. In my college days, I worked as a hotel housekeeper and it taught me to be a neat freak. In general you can expect to find your place the way you left it if I sit for you! I send at least one check-in per day that includes photos to make sure you get a daily dose of cuteness and know that all is well! I can arrange for this check-in to occur at whatever time works best for you. I'm typically a speedy responder to other messages, too, though I do silence my phone while I sleep and occasionally during brief parts of the day, e.g., for meditation, yoga, or virtual meetings. Some clients are comfortable with their sitters having visitors, but I never expect nor assume that's the case and would certainly not bring anyone into your home without discussing the possibility in advance. It's completely fine if clients have a no-guest policy. Even when permitted, guests are uncommon for me, but may include my teen mentee of 5 years from Big Brothers Big Sisters or an occasional gal pal for a movie night. Some clients welcome sitters to eat perishables that will spoil while they're away, others encourage sitters to help themselves to any food in the house. I will never assume either, however, and there's no pressure. Unless I'm explicitly told otherwise, rest assured that the only consumable goods I may use are essentials like cooking oils, spices, and occasionally milk/creamer for my tea.

About: Approximately 2,000 sq ft fenced-in yard with two 25-pound, 6-year-old furry companions and a dog door. When you’re gone, your pet won’t be alone. My house has a carpeted ramp leading to the king-size bed, steps leading to each couch, and a pet camera. My goal is to keep dogs in a comfortable and regular routine that closely resembles their daily routine. Usually available at any time from Friday to Sunday. Overnights from Monday through Friday can be discussed. Morning ( about 8:00 AM to 9;00 AM): Take a quick walk and use the restroom first thing in the morning, then eat breakfast in accordance with the dog’s regular feeding schedule and serving size. Mid-day: Depending on dog’s activity level (about 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM) playing, exercise, and potty break can include fetch in the yard or a stroll to a local park. Late afternoon/evening: A lengthier stroll (about 5:00 to 6:00 PM) will guarantee the dog has had enough exercise before dinner. Dinner will be served in accordance with the feeding plan, giving the body time to digest before engaging in strenuous activities. Bedtime: Before going to bed (about 9:00 to 10:00 PM), take one last bathroom break. The dog will be provided with comfort products and their typical sleeping setting. Medication Administration: Skilled in oral drug administration and at ease with a variety of techniques. We shall carefully adhere to all drug directions, including those pertaining to dosage, frequently and any particular methods of administration. Special Needs: Capable of meeting each person’s demands and will carefully adhere to all dietary, exercise, behavioral, and personal preference guidelines. Communication: Throughout the care term, owners can request to receive regular updates and pictures of their pet. Emergency Plan: Ready to deal with crisis coolly and efficiently. Owners will be notified right away if there are any problems, and the veterinarian’s information will be easily accessible.

About: I signed up to take care of my sisters brand new puppy (a golden doodle named Clover) for the first two weeks that they had her. They had to work and got to a conference — and I have loved caring for dogs ever since. This experience showed me the continuous attention and care needed at the puppy age and how gratifying it was in return. Since then, I adopted my first dog — she is now a 2.5 year old rescue pug/bull dog mix. I work full time and I am joining Rover to spend more time with dogs! Most of my availability is on week nights and weekends. Our dog sleeps crated every night for her comfort. Your dog will be crated as well, or I can board at your house with or without a crate!

About: Hi, I'm Shannon and I petsit with my husband, Steve. We have both grown up with dogs and have been devoted pet parents for over a decade. We’ve cared for everything from mischievous puppies to wise old seniors who needed daily medications and extra TLC. Whether your dog needs a slow stroll, a game of fetch, or a quiet lap to nap on, we’re here to make them feel at home. Our own pups—Louie and Bess—are friendly, playful, and used to sharing their space. We treat every dog like they’re part of the family (and yes, we talk to them in silly voices). Pet care is our routine! Either Steve or I will be home full time when your dog is with us, so they’ll get plenty of attention, outdoor breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. Our dogs love their daily walks, and visiting the dog park (with your permission) is always a highlight. Between window watching, sunbathing, and playtime, your pup will be enjoying a mini vacation of their own—while you’re off on yours. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. At our home, pups are never left alone—either Steve or I will always be here to supervise, cuddle, and play. We have a securely fenced yard (6 foot privacy fence) for safe outdoor time and a spacious first floor where the dogs can relax, play, and snooze in the sun. If your dog needs medication, special feeding, or just a little extra love—we’ve got it covered. You can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy, and very loved.

“Natalie is a fantastic cat sitter. I would try to book her anytime I go away. She’s communicates clearly and took steps to ensure she knew exactly what my pet likes/disliked and how to care for my pet. Natalie was always on-time and uses the app features on-time so you know your pet is being cared for. She attaches videos and pictures and feedback on how it went. My cat was very happy spending time with Natalie, they played and cuddled and chatted.”

About: Hello, My name is Danielle. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend(s). I have been walking dogs daily (mostly my own until now) for 15 years. I would love to drop by to say hi, give your fur family food, take them out into the world to catch some sun and smells, or even spend the night with them. Of course, I will most likely take that time to share my favorite films; starting with Homeward Bound. I would love to be able to help you and family have peace of mind knowing your are in the best of hands. I am very excited to get to know you and your fur family much better. Book with me and you will not be disappointed.
