“Mariana was great with our dog and two cats! Our animals loved her and she kept our house very tidy after staying there. We would definitely rebook with her again when we go out of town.”

“Helena was everything we hoped for in a dog and house sitter. I appreciate so much all of the photos, the detailed updates on their time together, and how proactive Helena was with communicating. We cannot wait to be her repeat clients. If you want someone that you can trust that your dog will quickly be obsessed with, look no further. Seriously, thank you so much, Helena!”

“Kim is the best! We were gone for almost a full week and felt so relaxed knowing she was in our home taking care of our babies (a pit mix pup and two cats). She sent us updates everyday which helped to put us at ease. She was so communicative and respectful of our home. We will definitely be booking with Kim again! Thank you again!!”

About: I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. I am happy to provide enrichment activities for your animal as well, such as bubble play, doga (dog yoga), or drives to hiking locations. I am committed to being completely available for any of your pet needs! My main focus is comfortable care for your critter, no matter how early or late that may be. I feel that years of experience in caring for animals who are being boarded, hanging out at daycare, or getting a stylish spa day have taught me so much in how to interact and build trust with many animals no matter the situation. I believe a combination of patience, kindness, intuition, and some snackos can really foster a safe, positive environment for everybody.

“Wesley was amazing. Kept in contact with us. Took amazing care of our pups. Let us know if any issues. She even got my little old pup to cuddle and that is rare. He really doesn’t like many people! She was amazing and we plan to use her again and again!!”

“Shula and Samuel watched our two hooligans while we were out of town for a long weekend. They went above and beyond again! They took great care of the house and most importantly, we came home to two happy and healthy doggos. My family and I cannot say enough great things about them!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Mark! He was so kind and attentive, truly gave our two dogs the absolute best possible care while we were out of town. He was easy to communicate with and took wonderful care of our home while staying there. While away, a storm blew through Richmond and knocked down the electric line running across our backyard. Mark was so helpful at communicating everything going on, and took our dogs to a hotel two nights to make sure they were comfortable and safe. We will 100% be using Mark next time we need care for our dogs and recommending him to anyone needing a sitter!!!”

“Kara was a great sitter for our cat Mateo. She took great care of him. Played with him and snuggled with him, sent us daily photo updates, and we came back to a nice clean house. Thank you Kara!”

“Michelle did a great job with our geriatric cats. Medications were properly administered and the cats quickly warmed up to her. She also kept us informed with texts and pictures and dealt with some unscheduled package deliveries.”

“Lucy adores Cailey and her husband and I know she’s being well-cared for when I leave her! I love the daily updates and pictures and will definitely use Cailey again (this was my second booking with her)!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for years, and I'm absolutely ecstatic to meet you and your furry friend! I started out by accompanying my mom on her Rover assignments while in school. We also welcomed Trixie to the family, a 3-year-old mini petite Goldendoodle with a taste for blueberries. Now that I've moved cities, I'm interested in helping others with their furry loved ones. I'm a remote worker, so my flexibility is unmatched. I also enjoy outdoor and active activities, especially when the weather's nice. Thanks for your consideration! I'm a full-time employee for a remote-based, nonprofit news organization, and I'm based in Richmond, VA. I work an early shift (7am-3pm EST), but I have flexibility all day long. Pets under my care have access to a furry-tastic care kit, which includes a water bottle and bowl, snacks, toys, peanut butter and more. Please reach out with any other meeds - I'll be happy to grab them!

About: I walk my own dog for over an hour every day and know how much daily exercise means to a happy, healthy pup. This past summer, I had the rewarding experience of walking an elderly woman’s dog, which strengthened my commitment to treating every dog like my own. I’m passionate about dogs of all ages and temperaments, and I regularly visit Short Pump Dog Park to enjoy positive social time with other pups. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Now accepting evening & weekend bookings for small dogs. I bring years of personal and pet-sitting experience, a calm approach, and a focus on friendly, well-mannered pups. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or snuggles, your dog will be cared for as if they were my own. I treat every dog like my own — with patience, attention, and affection. My focus is always on safety and comfort. I avoid distractions like phone use during walks (unless there’s an emergency) so your dog has my full attention. I follow owner instructions closely and make sure your pet feels secure, whether in my home or yours.

There'll be no worries about your furry friends if you look to her for care.”

John C.
“I have known John to be a responsible pet owner since he was a child. The care and love he gives to his own furry family goes beyond the ordinary. He spends most of his non working time seeing that his Hank gets plenty of walks and time at the dog park etc. I can always count on him to take care of my feral cats when I am away , and keep the wild bird feeders full of seed. He even fills up the many Hummingbird feeders with sugar water during the summer. I can always count on him to take care of things at my home. He has also volunteered at many non-profits involving rescue and adoptions and has transported animals for Imagine Home and Martha's Mutt Movers. He has worked for Naborforce walking pets for Senior Citizens and transporting peeople to appointments, dinner, etc. He is very kind, reliable, and trustworthy. Loved by all who know him.”
