Pet Sitting in Ashland

About: Both Garth and Tracy come from "dog families" where dogs are allowed on furniture, come to family functions, and get together with other family dogs regularly. We both have experience with all types of dogs since we were in middle school. Our dog, Zeke, loves company and is friendly to everyone. We can't wait to meet more furry friends. :) One or both of us is home daily during the summer, making it easy for us to drop in to your home or for bringing your dog(s) to our place for the day and/or night. With our family near, we don't travel often, so we'll have plenty of availability during the summer and on weekends throughout the year. We'll work with you on your preference for care. If you'd like them inside, outside, taken on walks, fed treats or medications on certain intervals, we are happy to oblige. We have a fenced yard and one 6-year old dog who matches the vibe of visiting dogs. High or low energy or something in-between, Zeke (and we) are up for anything!

And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.””

About: Owned dogs all my life with experience from puppy to end of life. I truly believe our pets are part of the family and should be treated as such I often work from home with a lot of flexibility. I am up early and stay up late so can be accommodating to many schedules I do not have a fenced yard, I leash walk animals regularly. Historically with my own dogs I have underground fencing. About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love and experience with animals. Growing up on a farm taught me patience and responsibility, and I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I offer puppy training basics, gentle senior pet care, and medication support when needed. Most importantly, I provide consistent, loving attention so your pets feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part time, which leaves me plenty of flexibility. I’m available most days of the week to give animals consistent care, attention, and companionship. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping pets company, I can easily adjust my schedule to meet their needs. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of love, play, and attention. Walks, feedings, and cuddle time are always part of the routine. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely to keep pets on their normal schedule—whether that means meals, walks, medications, or bedtime routines—so they feel secure and cared for in their familiar space.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. As a kid I was never able to have pets, so as an adult I’ve always had multiple dogs. I love dogs and enjoy their personalities and fun loving nature. Weekends and holidays are spent at home with the family, and the four-legged family members get plenty of playtime! During the week, I work full-time. Our dogs are kennel-trained and enjoy their downtime during the day. Once home, they’re out and a part of all our evening activities. We have a fenced-in yard where they can run and play non-stop. Our fenced-in yard is an excellent space for our four energetic dogs to run and play. They love to play non-stop, and our kids, who are also dog lovers, enjoy playing along with them.

About: I was in 4-h for around 7-10 years and showed horses, cattle, rabbits, cats and dogs. I lived on a farm so I am good with all sized pets. I have a deep passion for animals and personally have 2 dogs a chocolate lab and siberian husky, and 2 cats a orange tabby and grey maine coon. I am a full-time college student so my schedule is pretty open all week and the weekends besides church Sunday mornings and I work Saturday nights 5-11. I have a wide-open schedule and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs, whether it’s daily walks or regular drop-in visits. I primarily drive to visits, so I can reach most locations efficiently. To ensure the best care for your pets, I ask for at least a day’s notice when scheduling or canceling visits. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.

About: I have always grown up in a household with pets and see them as family members. Currently enjoying the companionship of my 2 fur babies. Throughout my time of loving animals, i have had pets with allergies, a 2 different orthopedic procedures on knees and 2 eye procedures and feel comfortable with giving medications or eye drops. When it comes to my animals, I value the importance of them having the ability to be cared for when I am away and look forward to providing that to other familys. I am available most friday afternoons and weekends for drop ins and walks in the lincoln area. Could consider evenings on additional days upon request. About: I've been caring for my own household pets since I was about 7 years old -- feeding, letting pets in and out, and providing quality time for as long as I can remember. We've always owned 2 dogs and 2 cats my whole life. Experienced in giving medicine, diaper care and helping with individual pet needs. Always the go-to petsitter for family and friends when needed. Currently off of college for the summer so I'm wide open for all of your pet needs! Available daily at any time until mid August, and then free on the weekends when the semester starts. My dogs at home are crate-trained, but I work with open house dogs as well as crates, letting them outside every few hours or so (as needed). Happily gives couch cuddles for pets as much as possible, and I follow food instructions per pet to a T, including medicine and special care instructions as needed.

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—dogs, puppies, chickens, fish, and more! I love working with animals and have a special soft spot for puppies. I have a 9-month-old pup myself who is fully trained, so I’m very familiar with routines, training, and giving pets the attention they need. I’m dependable, patient, and will treat your pet like family. (I am allergic to cats, so I can’t take on cat care.) I’m a licensed esthetician with a flexible daytime schedule, which allows me to check in frequently and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have a dog of my own who is very friendly and well-socialized, so if your pet is comfortable around other dogs, they’ll have a built-in playmate. I prioritize making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and part of a routine. I care for pets by keeping them on their normal routine and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. In my home, they get a safe space, lots of attention, and playtime (plus a friendly dog if they enjoy that!). In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and make sure their pet feels secure in their own space. I always keep owners updated so they know their pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve had experience with a different breeds of dogs from little pups to bigger dogs. I’ve also had two cats which I loved. I’ve always been a lover of my fur babies. Friends and family have relied on me to babysitt, walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I also do the same for my own pet. If there are any special instructions that your dog needs, I would be able to help out and follow. Can’t wait to make your fur babies comfortable!! I’m currently working two 12 hour shifts at the hospital. I work every 3rd weekend where I have to work Friday-Sunday. Otherwise, I’m very flexible and can provide schedules for anyone in advance if need be. I have a fenced yard and one big fur baby. He’s a gentle giant and loves any dogs who will play with him for hours! My pup gets walks, baths, car rides , pup cups (too many), and more. I love my fur baby and if I have the chance too take care of yours, they will be in good hands.
