Doggy Day Care in Ash Grove

About: I’ve actually been pet sitting for years and have volunteer experience with the ASPCA. I’ve cared for senior and special needs dogs. We love all pets though I’ve even pet sat lizards snakes and cats. My schedule is pretty flexible I work remotely as a contractor for a big company Monday through Friday. Although I’d prefer daytime bookings let me know what you’re needing My dogs eat chicken free food cause our pug is allergic. Mushu’s special care is we wipe his wrinkles & ears daily with a weekly bath. Buddy is a tank who can eat anything but he needs his paws trimmed once a month. Buddy deals with anxiety from being a sheepdog with no sheep so he has lots of toys and an occasional cbd treat.

I am heading into retirement and my kids live in other states so dog sitting seems perfect to earn & help others.I have a small home and fair size fenced yard . I have a fenced yard and quiet neighborhood for walking . I can also come to your home if you will be away for a period of time.

About: My 14 year old dachshund passed away last spring. I was unsure of jumping right back in so we fostered. Charlie, my dachshund was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her dearly but she was a total pill! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! I do not want the responsibility of more than one dog as an owner but Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I always need an appointment prior, it’s hard to say yes in a last minute booking unless I have had the dog prior. I would like to see a complete profile with photos to consider a booking. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer but do love them dearly when they are in my care. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained crate trained is a plus. I can’t take any aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. If our home sounds like a good fit reach out! Our days start early at 6:00am Monday-Friday, the weekends depend on our Schedule. We are also early to bed at 8:00pm so would like to avoid late pick ups but can understand if it’s a late flight or a long drive in a day to get back home. Honestly I have never been a dog sitter to anyone professionally. It's always been a family and friends deal for free or trade. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August 2025 to foster and eventually sealed the deal for keeps. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but she is pretty well allowed to roam around. She is crate trained and potty trained. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.

About: We LOVE taking care of animals! We took a break from sitting to raise our kids, but currently miss having lots of four-legged friends around! I am experienced with the newest to the oldest of friends! After working at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri and getting my minor in Companion Animal Management, I have taken to caring for friends in my spare time. I am a full time ag teacher and have experience with everything from cattle to cats! From training the most stubborn puppies to giving daily insulin to feline friends, I would be thrilled to provide affordable and reliable services for you! Our home is privacy fenced and full of space for your pets to play! Our kids turn two and four this summer and could use someone to help burn off their energy! About: We have taken care of dogs most of our life. We’ve also became experts with senior dog care since ours has reached that stage. One is a diabetic so we understand the importance of medicine and a schedule. If your dog requires extra care, just let us know and we’ll make sure their given everything they need. Currently, we can offer service whenever you need it. We’ll be home all day to make sure your doggie gets all the attention they need to make their time away from you less stressful. We have a fenced in backyard to keep your fur baby safe, along with three other dogs to keep them company. If needed, we do have a crate that your dog can utilize while here.

I have recently retired and am looking for something gratifying to help other Dog owners with the care of their pet! I know how stressful it can be when you have to leave your pet for any length of time and would love to relieve that stress for you! 😊 I have a fenced in yard with a senior dog, Bella. She is such a great dog and is so aloof, like nothing bothers her! I am unable to board certain breeds due to home insurance restrictions and my senior dog so may not be able to accept every request, however, I haven’t turned one down yet!
