“Absolutely amazing 🤩! Ashley took time with my fur babies and offered special care to my elder pup that just had surgery. Taking extra care with meds, feeding, and loving!! The best of the BEST!”

“Aimee was so great with our pup while we were out of town for a few days! She was always right on time and made sure he got everything he needed. We are so relieved and happy to have found someone like her to keep and eye on our boy. Even with his hyper energy, she handled him perfectly, and he seemed to really enjoy his time with her as well!”

About: Hello! As someone who has raised and cared for dogs since childhood, I understand that your pup is a true member of the family. Growing up with dogs gave me a deep understanding of canine behavior, body language, and daily routines. I am highly experienced with all the essentials: managing feeding schedules, administering oral medications if needed, and keeping up with regular bathroom breaks. I adapt my care to your dog's unique personality—whether they are high-energy, completely laid-back, or a bit shy around new people. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every pup like my own and look forward to giving yours the high-quality care, attention, and love they need while you're gone! I love the excitement and variety of meeting different pets, which is why I prefer flexible, single-stay bookings rather than fixed weekly care. Because of this, my schedule operates on a strict first-come, first-served basis. If your schedule changes or you need a last-minute hand on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, feel free to send a same-day request! When caring for your pet in your home, I respect your space and follow any specific instructions you provide about household rules or boundaries. I ensure that your home is secured by checking doors, gates, and windows to prevent your pet from getting into any unsafe situations. You’ll also receive regular updates with photos and messages so that you can stay informed about your pet’s well-being while you're away. I want you to feel at ease knowing that your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Stephanie was phenomenal! You can tell that she loves what she does! She checked in daily and sent a picture each day! I will definitely book with her again! She was just way going and made sure our babygirl was doing well! ❤️”

“This was a meet and greet, Lori was great. She asked all the needed questions. This was the first caregiver our Great Pyrenees immediately warmed up to. We feel very comfortable leaving them in Lori’s care.”

About: Hi there! I’m a proud dog mom to Millie, my 6-year-old German Shepherd mix, and I bring over 15 years of experience in pet care. I have a natural connection with dogs and cats and truly love all animals. What sets me apart is my flexibility—I work remotely, so your pet will have plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or following specific routines, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I currently work remote so I have plenty of time to care for pets. That also makes me available on the weekdays and weekends for boarding Whether in my home or yours, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for your pet. I provide walks around the neighborhood and stick to a schedule when needed.
“My little girl is very skittish and Danyelle developed a real bond with Bella. She went above and beyond to make Bella feel comfortable with her and I was so grateful. Thanks so much for giving great care to my little Bella. I well undoubtedly being using your service again!”

About: I've had pet friends for as long as I can remember. In the last few years, I've made more by house sitting for others, and it has been a joy and sometimes a challenge, but it is always good. My experience has ranged from multiple dogs (9 in one home), cats (indoor and outdoor), plus some easy going ranch animals. I currently have an open schedule to provide pet sitting in the place the pets know and feel most secure - in their own home. I provide a lot of love and attention and play, play, play with our friends through the day, each day that I house sit. I follow their regular schedule for feeding and such.

About: Hello! My name is Jackie. I have been surrounded by animals all my life. I am 25 years old. I got into more experience with handling animals around 15 years of age. I’ve fostered four litters of kittens while finding them new homes. I have experience with bottle feeding. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs as well. I’ve taken dogs for walks, bathed them and other necessary things they needed such as medications. I would like to provide you with the comfort of knowing that your pet is in good, loving care! Pet care fits well into my routine because I currently attend school only twice a week. This allows me to have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Even on school days, I make sure to schedule visits and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. My goal is to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention while making sure they feel safe and relaxed in their own environment. I currently care for pets in the client’s home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting and do not bring pets into my own home. I always send updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.

I do not currently pet sit in my home, however, I’m available to care for your pet in their own home environment with little to no disruption to their normal routine.
About: I pride myself on having learned about dogs from a young age. Although I am no expert, I would say my knowledge about dog behavior and body language is above average! I grew up with German Shepherds so I am very comfortable with bigger dogs, but also love a small dog too :) I work full-time, but am available every Wednesday guaranteed. My work schedule varies since I work in retail but some days this allows me to be off of work before noon which would give me plenty of time to care for your pup midday. On the other hand, some days i don’t work until later afternoon times so I am available for early visits in the morning :) For those reasons I'm super flexible Having pets of my own, I understand that following their routine and schedule is important, so I will be punctual and follow any instructions left for me! Whether it’s on walks or just quick drop-ins, I hope to leave your pet as happy as can be!
“We had a wonderful experience having our cat, Ivy, looked after for three days. Cindy was reliable, caring, and attentive, and it was clear that Ivy was in great hands. We especially appreciated that Cindy took the time to meet us and Ivy beforehand, which gave us great peace of mind. The updates and care throughout the three days were wonderful. We would definitely recommend them and would happily have her look after Ivy again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ash
Ashley is absolutely the best! She took amazing care of our cat, Sylvester and she gave us so much peace knowing he was in great hands! She gave us daily updates and pictures. Our cat is very afraid of people, but after a fews days of Ashley’s patience, love, and care he was loving Ashley so much he didn’t want her to leave! She also took great care of the stray cats I feed! You can definitely trust her with your fur babies! We highly recommend Ashley as a pet sitter and we will continue to use her as long as she available!!

Amanda and Char were wonderful with my sweet girl! They followed all of my instructions carefully, kept me updated, and sent plenty of photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my pup was well cared for and happy even with separation anxiety. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
