I’ll definitely be bringing him back when I have to travel in the future!”

About: We've had Golden Retrievers since 2005 and LOVE Goldens. We currently have three Goldens - Red (age 6), Max (age 5), and Riley (age 3). We often dog sit for our family and friends that have Goldens and I love it so much, I decided to start a Rover account to do it for others that have Golden family members and need a fun, reliable place for them to go when they travel or need boarding. I'm a self-employed educational psychologist with a flexible schedule. I often work from home and am off over the summer and during school holiday breaks. We have three Golden Retrievers (ages 3, 5,and 6) who get a lot of activity. We have a huge fenced back yard, and a fenced front yard, and play fetch every day out back with the ball thrower. We also go on walks around the neighborhood. We have a doggy door, and the dogs go in and out at their leisure. Our dogs are a major part of our family. They're always with us. They sleep in my bed. Your golden(s) can sleep in my bed or room, too, or in a crate if that's what they're used to. We also have two kids (age 11 and 8), so your dog must be good with kids, as well as with other dogs.

About: I worked as a pet sitter for years during my 20s, and am a lifelong pet owner. I have experience caring for animals with blindness, hearing loss, and seizure disorders. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and am experienced administering medications and/or eyedrops on a daily basis. I most recently cared for a dog whose owner was unable to after some medical issues. Riley was here for almost a year. I work 4 hours a day in an elementary school, and the rest of the time from home, so your pet will have plenty of attention and human interaction. We do morning and evening dog walks, either on the nature trails or through the neighborhood. I have a fenced backyard for potty breaks, sniffing and recreation. At our house, your pets are like family. They’re allowed on the furniture; if they’re cuddlers, they will get plenty of snuggles. I have two teenagers who love animals as well. My own dog, Snickers, is a gentle and docile soul and does very well with dogs of all sizes. I will ensure any dog that stays here is fully vaccinated with a good temperament. I will never have more than two guests at a time, and pets will be fed separately. As a sitter, I want you to enjoy your time away.I will provide daily updates and photos, so you know your dog is happy and doing well. ❤️

“I needed someone to care for my 16 year old, hard of hearing senior dog while I was having medical issues. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Min-Pin mix. He's friendly, gentle and loves to cuddle on the sofa. He needs medication daily. My dog was taken with Maisy the minute we stepped in her house. She is so warm and caring. You can see immediately how much she loves animals. Maisy's dog, Snickers is gentle and so well behaved. I could see that Riley felt comfortable with him. Maisy took Riley on daily walks and administered his medication with no problems. She didn't mind that I texted her daily to check on him. I was missing him so badly. She sent me pictures of him on the walks and when he was cuddled up with her on the sofa. It made me feel safe that he had such a loving person to care for him while I was unable to. She is wonderful!”
