“Grant is a fantastic caregiver for any doggy but esp mine. Ive got a great dog (husky mix, good temperament, great on walks, mellow, polite, no potty mistakes, doesnt destroy anything) and I struggle to let people spend time with her unless Im confident the person can maintain the same "rules, boundaries and limitations" that I (try to) do. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I dropped off my dog, Sugar, with Cody, and let me explain what “Sugar” is dealing with. Sugar is a tiny white cockapoo whose greatest natural predator is…existing. She’ll hear a leaf land three houses away and immediately file an insurance claim. She has been startled by her own reflection, a pillow, and once spent five minutes suspicious of a decorative pumpkin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So naturally, I was thinking, “There’s no way this dog survives being around another dog and a cat.” Wrong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cody has this supernatural calm that apparently extends to terrified fluff balls. His dog was basically like, “Hey, you wanna hang out?” Sugar answered in her native language, which is silent panic. His dog didn’t care. She just kept being cool until Sugar realized nobody was trying to assassinate her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Then there’s the cat. Most cats look at a nervous little dog like they’re planning a documentary called How Easy Would It Be? Cody’s cat was just…chill. At one point I think the cat judged me more than it judged Sugar. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By the end of the stay, Sugar was wandering around like she paid the mortgage. She actually looked relaxed. Relaxed! This is a dog who’s emotionally overwhelmed by a ceiling fan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t know what Cody does. Maybe he whispers affirmations. Maybe he has Disney-princess powers. Maybe his dog is running some kind of emotional support operation and the cat is HR. Whatever it is, it works. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I picked Sugar up happy, safe, exhausted from actually having fun instead of rehearsing imaginary disasters. Cody sent updates, took amazing care of her, and somehow convinced the canine equivalent of an anxious Victorian ghost that life isn’t one long emergency. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your dog is confident, Cody will probably make them happier. If your dog is like Sugar and thinks gravity is a personal attack, Cody is basically a miracle worker. Ten out of ten. Would absolutely trust him again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugar probably still doesn’t trust the vacuum, but that’s between her and her therapist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ~Christine and David”

About: I've taken care of and raised my own cat Link since we adopted him from a shelter event! He's almost 7 now and doing wonderfully! I've also volunteered at an outdoor cat sanctuary for over a year, taking care of cats with special needs and caring for them!

Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

My next-door neighbor would trust me for weeks at a time to take care of her old cat, and I would always take care of my pets when my parents weren’t home. About: I've had a large dog since the age of 2, at one point I had two dogs and have consistently taken care of friends dogs as well as my grandparents 4 dogs in addition to my own. I am a consistent dog sitter and am expanding my services to rover after using referrals and the Nextdoor app previously I am available all day on weekends and work a relatively flexible schedule weekdays. I am gone from 8-3 but make sure to spend as much time with your animals as possible so they don’t miss you too much! I will care for my client’s pets in their home by staying in my designated area as well as making sure to complete each task they ask of me. I don't mind feeding your fish or watering your plants either!

“Grant is a fantastic caregiver for any doggy but esp mine. Ive got a great dog (husky mix, good temperament, great on walks, mellow, polite, no potty mistakes, doesnt destroy anything) and I struggle to let people spend time with her unless Im confident the person can maintain the same "rules, boundaries and limitations" that I (try to) do. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”

“Absolutely the BEST dog sitter for our 6 month old Kota. The photos and videos and updates daily made being apart while we were on vacation much more enjoyable. Swimming in the kiddie pool was definitely a highlight! So much playtime meant afternoon naps where he snored.
