About: I've been a devoted pet owner for more than 20 years, and caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of my life. Dogs and cats have a way of trusting me, and I love taking the time to understand each pet's unique personality and needs. I know how important it is to leave your furry family members with someone who is attentive, dependable, and genuinely cares. Whether you're traveling, working long hours, or simply away from home, my goal is to provide the same love, patience, and thoughtful care I'd want for my own pets. As a self-employed therapist, I have the flexibility to create my own schedule, which allows pet care to fit naturally into my daily routine. I primarily work Tuesday through Saturday, with most of my appointments conducted via secure telehealth, so I can comfortably work from wherever I'm house sitting as long as there's a reliable Wi-Fi connection. My work is scheduled in advance and never prevents me from providing walks, potty breaks, playtime, feedings, medications, or the attention your pets deserve. I simply ask for about two weeks' notice whenever possible so I can coordinate my calendar and ensure my own pets are well cared for while I'm away. My husband stays home with our pets during house-sitting stays, allowing me to focus completely on caring for yours. My goal is to make sure your pets can maintain their normal routine and feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine will always be my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's personality, habits, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and any special instructions so I can provide care that's consistent with what they're used to at home. Whether I'm stopping by for a walk, providing care while you're at work, or staying overnight, I'll treat both your pets and your home with the same respect and attention I give my own. Since my yard is unfenced, outdoor time is always supervised—no solo backyard adventures on my watch. For extra security, I use a 125-lb-rated ground lead or a long leash held securely in hand, and I prefer dogs to wear a harness while in my care. Better safe than chasing a runaway squirrel down the street. On walks, I’m always keeping an eye out for distractions, triggers, and anything that might turn “nice stroll” into “OMG, WHAT IS THAT?!” I use positive redirection when needed and follow your pet’s routine, cues, and preferences as closely as possible.

About: Taking care of your animal will be my number one priority. I love animals, I will be more than attentive to their needs and accommodate anything you would like. I’m available any time you need me and I will take in any animal, big, small, furry, hairless, you name it! I love them all. I’ve had animals my whole life so I know how to take care of dogs, I’ve had cats now for 5 years and kittens and it’s a handful but it has taught me so many things needed to be a perfect sitter! I love getting pets toys, and fancy food sometimes to spoil them so expect that (if it’s fone with the owner) of course. I can’t wait to meet you and your lovely pet!

About: I have grown up with pets all my life. I currently have two dogs, two goats, two cats, and one chicken. I love caring for pets and I find pets to be comforting. About: I was always the go to person for pet sitting in my family. Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house. And I was fortunate enough to have had one for 16 years. Her name was Bear. She was the best family dog anyone could ask for and I miss her very much. She is the reason I love taking care of animals so much. Recently, I have become very fond of cats and live with 2 of them. They have stolen my heart and take care of them every day. I also have two reptiles which are my whole world. No matter what animal, I would love to take care of them. I’m the sitter for you! I am in between jobs at the moment so my schedule is very flexible right now. I am very open and honest so I’m very willing to for the schedule that’s best for you and your pet! About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals. As far as boarding your dog, my husband and I work different shifts, so someone is always home. A fully fenced back yard and good sniffer walks in my small town. Your dog is welcome on the couches and downstairs bed. Access to entire 1st floor. I can also crate if preferred. Baths and nail trims are no problem! I have a 60lb staffordshire terrier who loves all kids, people and dogs. It's playtime almost 24/7! Unless it's nap time and he's professional at that also!

About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.
