Our dog is old, with health problems (including incontinence), and we were so glad to find someone willing to sit him in their home. When we picked up our dog, Nicole had washed all the towels and bedding we had provided to help manage his incontinence. She went above and beyond in caring for him, and we really appreciated it. About: I’ve had all kinds of animals growing up. Dogs, horses, cats, goats, a parakeet or two, I love animals so much. I have a ton of dog experience from puppies to seniors. I also understand the anxiety of leaving your pets alone and the importance of having someone you can trust to care for your pets when you have to be away. I’ll take care of your pets like they are my own. I’m currently attending massage therapy school so I need a flexible option, but I’m free a lot of the time and don’t mind driving to different locations. About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes.
