About: (Formerly Kamp Kelley) I have been fostering small dogs for a rescue group in No. VA. for the last 9 years (my aching back doesn’t allow me to work with dogs larger than 20 lbs)--prior to that I fostered cats and kittens. I has experience with many types of small dogs—especially Shih Tzu’s and Llasa Apso’s, but also Yorkshire Terriers, Basset Hounds, Pom's, Toy Poodles, etc. My expertise is in rescuing and caring for senior and special need dogs. Since I have a dog-friendly house and a large-fenced yard (1/4 acre) for them to run and play in, I decided to become a dog-sitter 5 years ago. I believe in loving and treating your fur-baby like my own! We keep her home and yard dog proof so your little angel will be in a safe, relaxed, dog-friendly, and loving environment! Because I am retired, my schedule is very flexible. I'm retired and except for occasional trips to the store, bi-weekly Bridge games. monthly book group and a occasional meeting, I'm home ALL THE TIME. At this point, I am accepting only ONE dog at a time EXCEPT if there are 2 dogs from the same household. Same for cats. I have a large, fenced yard that can be separated off. I have lots of dog equipment. For example large crates if your dog is used to being crated, bowls, beds and cushions, a big bed for them to share with me, jackets, leashes, kongs and lots of love and affection. Same for cats--EXCEPT, I let them out only on the back deck (enclosed).
About: I have a love and understanding for all animals! I have trained my own and have learned so much through them. I have a lot of experience with dogs with behavioral issues. I am a college student with a lot of free time. My evenings are free and I have a lot of gaps during the day! I would love to get out on walks with dogs in my gaps. About: Hello! My name is Kaylee, I am 23 years old and my biggest personality trait is my love for animals. If you were to ask someone who knows me, they may say “that girl with the zoo? I currently have 5 pets, who I consider my children, and that is the least amount of animals I have ever owned at once. (Only due to apartment living.) Caring for animals is my comfort and passion, it truly brings me joy. I have never lived a day without pets- and I don’t want to, so, I focused my career around them. However, I’m still in search of more! I am currently a manager at a dog boarding facility part time, and I love my job, but I would love to find more local work. At my facility, I am currently managing multiple groups of up to 20 free ranged dogs at a time. I have worked with nearly every dog breed out there, and I have loved them all. I have experience in handling many medical conditions in dogs, such as anxiety, allergies, seizures, joint issues, diabetes, asthma, and many more. I also have experience in administering a multitude of medications, including inhalers and insulin. I am currently working part time, and my work days are typically the same each week. I am unavailable on my work days during hours 4 AM- 3 PM, but I would love to work with you any other time! The approach I take to care for a pet depends on the pets temperament and needs. As I have probably met over 2,000 dogs at this point- I understand that each dog is different. Some may want constant affection, and I’m more than happy to give that! “Amazing! Jamie is one of the best sitters we’ve ever used. Before she even got to the house, she was very patient with our changing travel plans, which had honestly become a bit of a nightmare as work constraints evolved and our dates kept shifting. We had her stay with our two dogs and small flock of chickens - a bit on the unusual side of Rover bookings. One of our dogs is a very timid rescue and the other is a slightly crazy young blue heeler mix, so they have very different personalities and needs. Jamie was wonderful with both - she had the timid one eating and letting her get near within the first few hours; normally this is a 2-3 day process! She seemed to have great intuition about dog behavior and knew exactly what to do to gain his trust. The active heeler didn’t seem to throw her at all either, and both pups were quite happy and healthy when we got back. In addition to being a superb canine communicator, Jamie was also a great human communicator and was proactive with reaching out to our additional contact when a question came up and it was the middle of the night where we were. I felt like she was on top of absolutely everything and had no anxiety about her ability to handle any dog/house/chicken things that might occur while we were away. To top it off, we came back to a clean house that was exactly as we left it - she even washed the sheets and remade the bed, which was extremely appreciated after getting back from overseas and quickly turning to back-to-school mode. We will definitely call Jamie the next time we need a sitter!”

About: I’ve taken care of my dads friends dogs aswell as my own cat. I’ve fed, walked, etc.. I’d love to work with your pet! I’ve had my cat for 12 years and she’s well taken care of. This is currently my main priority as I’m going to college soon! I can do pretty much any days and any times!! Monday-Friday. 7Am- 9PM (just an example) I currently do not offer this !
