“Linda did an amazing job watching our little pup Bentley. We were gone for 5 days and she accommodated us with even picking him up a bit early. Bentley has only been with us for 4 months so we weren't sure how it would go. It went amazing. So much so he even looked a little sad to be leaving Linda. She gave updates even when I wasn't able to ask or get right back with her. Bentley has a bit of a finicky stomach and has zero problems since we brought him home. About: I am a husky lover and owner who has spent most of my life taking care of dogs! I am 30 years old and have grown up taking care of beagles as well as pet sitting for family members and neighbors. Now, I currently have two huskies, ages 3 and 1. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every shape and size since I was born. I was an infant cuddling with our massive doberman! My friends, family, and neighbors always knew they had a reliable pet sitter as long as I was around. I also ran on Harrisonburg Rescue Squad as an EMT for about 2 years, which has taught me excellent hard and soft skills in the case of an emergency. I’m working part time right now, so I’m able to spend as much time as needed with your lovely pooches (or other animals)! I mostly work nights on the weekends, but am able to adapt my schedule, if needed. :) I absolutely respect a given owner’s rules for their pets. In my own home, we raised our pit bull to listen and be intentional, and he is an amazing boy. In my client’s homes, I will treat their animals with the utmost respect, while enforcing the necessary house rules. About: I have owned and taken care of a variety of pets from a young age. I feel comfortable around all types of animals and I understand how to interact with them. I am currently working full time with weekends off. My current work schedule is from 7-3 so I would be available for late afternoon and evening check-ins on week days. I am available on the weekends for any time of day. I will be home full time between June and August and available all day. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space for running and playing. I have two lovable Boston Terriers and two well behaved and socialized cats. We allow all of our animals on the furniture and lots of cuddle time. Our animals have access to water all day and we can feed them according to your schedule or leave food out.
About: I have taken care of dogs for 3 to 4 years. I do have experience with cats as well. I enjoy making new friends and love playing, relaxing and cuddling, furry friends. I have watched dogs for friends for almost 3 to 4 years in a row. I’m currently doing in home care for clients and have tons of flexibility around that, as well as in school. I have most days free and would love to watch your furry friends! I always make sure to have whatever I need on daily walks if Dogs on meds I make sure they are given. I always make sure to leave the home as found, as well as follow instructions by clients.

This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities.
