About: Hello! My name is Kara, and while I am new to Rover, I'm certainly looking forward to putting my extensive animal care experience to good use! I currently own two cats named Ernie and Fern, and I hope to one day add some more friends to our family. Nearly every job I've had involved the care of animals, from my first job at a doggy daycare, to a few summers spent working at a veterinary clinic, a challenging but rewarding period of time at an animal shelter, and my most recent work at a dairy farm! Even as a child, several neighbors trusted me enough to ask that I care for their pets while they were out of town. Through all of this, I developed the ability to understand the individual needs of each animal and to work toward meeting those needs. Whether your furry friends love long walks, playtime in the yard, or just hanging out on the sofa, I would love to help out! I'm available for drop-in visits or more extensive stays as well. I just moved to Saratoga with my husband, so I'm looking for some meaningful work to start off my time here. My schedule is relatively open, so I can make time for most types of care routines. About: Hi, I would love to care for your dog! I have over 15 years of professional dog training experience, both in the DC area and on Long Island. During those years, I did extensive dog sitting. My approach is always loving, and caters to the personality and needs of your particular dog. I am just getting back into the business of pet sitting. I was a caregiver for my mom for a long time and did not the time. I do have a cat, but she prefers dogs to other cats! I am currently retired from a career in journalism and social work. I am a musician and a songwriter, which I do from my home mostly. I am able to take frequent breaks. I can provide a good neighborhood for dog walking, I know how to crate train. I do have a cat who is friendly with dogs. I can help identify and solve behavioral problems. I will undoubtedly become good friends with your dog!

“Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. About: Hi all! My name is Bryanna and I am 35 years old! I am a full time teacher just looking for a little extra to keep me busy! I decided to try pet sitting as I am a huge animal lover. I have owned English Mastiffs my entire life and really believe every animal has the capability to love and be loved! At home I live with three spoiled rotten pups. Cooper and Chloe are six. Coopy is a Husky Shepherd mix and Chlo Chlo is a Beagle Coonhound mix. We also have Diesel who is a 2 year old 210 pound English Mastiff. If I could quit my job to be with them all day, I would! Spending time with animals makes me happy and I know what it is life to leave your pet while you enjoy your life, so I wanted to help make that experience seamless and easy for you! I am excited to help you out and spend time with your sweet pets! I am off for the summer as I am teacher, so I am able to do drop in visits and walks weekly! It’s hard for pets to be home alone all day and I’d like to alleviate some of that from their owners! I take the upmost care of my pups. We walk everyday and they spend a lot of time outside playing and basking in the sun. During the summer we love our naps and extra treats.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and love taking them on walks or for a hike. My dog Koda loves the snow so we're always out when it's snowing. I'm available a lot! I'm a part-time student, but online, so I'm available most of the day to hang out with your favorite fur animal. I have a fenced in yard so they can play outside most of the days when it's nice or even just raining. I have 1 dog, a shepsky who just loves to play with other dogs. He is super nice and gentle, not aggressive at all so I'm not able to take any aggressive dogs.

About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was little, whether it be bigger dogs or small dogs. My toy poodle was 18 before he passed away so I’m familiar with older dogs and those that require a medication schedule (as long as you catch me up to speed with your pets needs!). I’ve also looked after puppies. I’m currently working part-time from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to look after and entertain your pets! I’m available any day with advanced notice! I do not have a fenced in yard however, I am a very active person so I’m more than happy to take your pets on walks, hikes, or trips to the dog park! My dog passed away recently so there are no other pets in the house, meaning your pet has my full attention!

About: I have a senior dog with epilepsy who needs special feeding care and long stimulating walks. Along with two cats I rescued off the street. I'm currently a college student with my summer off. Learning the in's and outs of the new city I will be calling home. My current schedule has me set for Tuesday and Wednesday off while my shifts vary through the week so accommodations are also able to be made for other days I check the weather before I walk my dog to make sure he is dressed appropriately for the elements. Making sure his harness, leash, and treat bag are ready for our adventure! While my cats have a clean litterbox every day.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and a dog since I was ten. I’ve also been volunteering at animal shelters since the beginning of 2024! I have a calm energy which is great for putting anxious pets at ease. I have the most experience with small dogs but love dogs of all sizes! I work part time at Hannaford but my schedule allows me the flexibility to provide your pets with the care they deserve! I have my own car so transportation is not an issue. Pet safety whether out and about or in your home is my top priority! I am careful to observe animal body language so I can better know when to give a pet space or remove them from a distressing situation. About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 10 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule, beginning in August though my son will be with me occasionally so for clients looking for long term care I do just ask that your dog be baby friendly (he won't be on the floor with your dog but will be in his car seat or general vicinity of your dog). Clients only looking for a couple of days, if your dog isn't baby friendly I can figure out being baby free for those days for you. I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.

About: In my house, our pets are our family and they rule the house. My goal as a pet sitter is to provide animals with the best care and put owners at ease while they’re away. I have found a passion for caring for others’ animals which started many years ago when i began volunteering. From volunteering, I have experience with many different breeds and sizes of both dogs and cats and I also have experience administering medication, taking care of dogs with special needs, and LOTS of drool!
