“Kelly handled my dog Stella amazingly. I live in a very dog heavy neighborhood and I adopted a senior German Shepherd with dog on dog reactivity due to early trauma in life. Kelly took my dog on a nice long walk for an hour and Stella was tired when I got home which made me so happy. I could definitely tell Stella loves Kelly. She even had her favorite ball in her mouth in the picture that Kelly sent me. Stella won’t even bring over her favorite ball to my parents so I definitely will be rebooking her again. I would highly recommend Kelly for anyone’s dog.”

About: I am a proud dog mom to five rescue pups: Peyton lab/pit mix, Penny Aussie/pit mix, Lina Great Dane, Olive Rottweiler/lab mix, and Dexter hound/lab mix. I previously worked as a Veterinary Assistant while I was in school studying Veterinary Technology. I foster with multiple rescues when I’m able. I have plenty of experience and knowledge with dogs and cats of all ages. I know schedules can be busy and I'm hoping to help alleviate some of the pressure of taking care of a pup. I would love to help you with yours so contact me today! I look forward to hearing from you and even more so to meeting your four legged friends! I have a flexible schedule and can check in on your pets as needed, providing food, play time, walks, pets and belly rubs, and plenty of treats. My yard is entirely fenced in, sitting on almost half an acre. This provides tons of room for pups to run and play. My house is very dog friendly: pets allowed on furniture, things are "dog-proofed" so as to avoid any accidents or issues, TONS of chew toys and ropes and squeakers, with a great selection of dog treats and snacks. If a dog is staying in my home and needs to be crated if I have to leave, I have an XXL kennel to use for them. Guest pups can be fed with or away from my dogs. In your home, you tell me. I am very flexible. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and keeps your pet safe and happy.

About: I have had family pets ever since I was little. I love being surrounded by animals and it is my goal to become a veterinarian. I have a passion for taking care of animals and giving them the love they deserve. I am currently living on a farm in Ponce De Leon FL and care for pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl along with two dogs and a barn cat. I am an Air Force veteran and currently classes at UWF for a bachelors degree in biology. I am able to do drop in visits at pet homes as well as overnight stays. My current class schedule is all day Tuesdays, half days Wed-Fri and fully available on Mondays. Over the summer I will be taking some classes but most will be online and the only days unavailable will be Tuesday and Thursday. I ensure that when letting pets out, I stay with them and have eyes on them. I value the safety and security of every dog I watch over. I currently live on a farm type property that is approximately 20 acres. It is partially fenced in but our dogs have become accustomed to staying within the property limits. To ensure dog safety I will always be outside with the animals. We also have a multitude of farm animals such as donkeys, chickens, Guinea fowl, turkeys, pigs, and sheep. The birds have free range of the property but the pigs and sheep are in a fenced in area.

About: Hello, My name is Britni and I'm a huge lover of animals! I currently have 1 dog, 2 cats, and 3 chickens! 🐕🐈⬛️🐔 I grew up with a father that trained bloodhounds for the Walton County prison and was taught the responsibilities of caring for animals at a young age. As a child I was fascinated to witness the strong bond between man and canine, and had a deep appreciation for the entertainment, safety, and companionship these animals provided. 💗 I began volunteering with the animals at the E. O. Wilson Biophilia center in Freeport earlier this year, and it has solidified that working with animals is a passion of mine. I am currently offering services to do drop ins or take your pup on a walk! Thank you for considering me to work with your beloved pet! 🐾💞 I am currently leaving a decade long career in resturants/hospitality behind, and following my passion of working with animals! I'm very excited to start this new chapter and can be flexible! I do not offer sitting in my home, but will always ensure to be mindful and bring a sharp awareness anytime I am working with someone's beloved pet.
About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule because I own my own business and work from home. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have the flexibility to step away when needed for walks, drop-ins, or special care requests, so pets receive consistent care without long periods alone. I adjust care to each dog’s personality and needs — whether that’s structure and patience for puppies or extra comfort and gentle care for seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.

About: Dog lover extreme here. Cali born, Vegas raised and now gulf coast living. I’ve had rescue dogs my whole life. I know when looking for someone to care for my pup it’s hard to trust just anyone so I try to be a loving responsible human you can trust. I have a small child now but am still free for walks and stop bys in my area. I know the struggle of needing pet help. I’m a homesteading mama who cares for dogs, cats, chickens and goats in addition to a toddler. I don’t do house stays anymore but understand the need of dog help. I’m not currently taking dogs into my home because i have a reactive dog myself, however, i understand that some dogs just need patience. .
About: I am 30 years old and grew up with dogs, horses, goats and cats. I have 2 dogs myself. They are little energetic love balls and I could not imagine my life without them. I am experienced in caring for dogs due to caring for pets of friends and family during their vacation and jobs I have done through rover. My internship at a vet helped me to increase my knowledge about pets and how to care for them even if they are sick and need extra treatment. I would be happy to meet you and your pet before I start helping you out so you know who you are working with. I will do my best to provide the best care for your pet and house. I am available all week. If the visit is after 2:30 I might have my son with me who is just as much of an animal lover as I am. I do not do boarding at the moment as we live in a townhome with a small yard and do not have any room for extra animals.

About: I am from Louisiana originally and I have had animals my entire life, caring for and loving them. They do so much to enrich our lives and I love getting the chance to give back! I have owned a wide variety of animals in my life, including both cats and dogs. I have had two cats when I was a kid that both lived to be 23, and caring for them was my responsibility. I also experience caring for senior dogs, taking special care to help them move around without falling or jumping from too high. My past pets included a tortoise and 10 chickens as well. My tortoise Koby is going strong still with many decades still ahead for him. I am very careful to follow a pet owner’s specific instructions in caring for their pet. I know the specifics are important, and I take special care to tend to them. Meeting new furry friends and being able to care for them while their owners are away is a wonderful opportunity to help make them feel at ease and safe. I love my job and all the puuurks! I have an open schedule for the most part, so I am available to help often. Nothing is more important than a fur baby in need of companionship. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Argyle. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Argyle.

- 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
