“Madison took amazing care of our pets like they were her own! She was very gentle and loving and took lots of notes and asked lots of questions. We couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“Ashley was amazing. She kept me informed on the boys and sent some amazing pictures and a video of them playing. Will definitely keep her in mine for our next trip. Highly recommend!!!”

About: All my life I’ve been in love with dogs! I want to spend as much time as I can with them and meet new breeds and types. I have been doing this for 6 years now and I still love it like it was the first year! So what better way to do that than Rover! I will love your dog like it’s my own and spoil it like it’s my own child. I don’t have children yet but I think it was a good analogy. :) If you would like to talk with me on the phone I am happy to get the know the owners as well! I’m also pretty fit so even if your dog has a lot of energy I’ll be able to keep up for sure! I hope you consider me. WHAT I OFFER: 1. Dog and Cat Boarding 2. Dog and Cat Check-Ins 3. Dog Walks Im currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pup! We can go for plenty of walks and have plenty of play! I have a spacious apartment so your pooch will have plenty of space to run around and explore the environment. I will provide plenty of cuddles and attention to your pet as well while in my care!
“My furbabies warmed up to Emma quickly, which is unusual for them 😆. Emma showed up everyday as asked and sent pics and/or videos during each check-in. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing she was taking care of my doggies. Will use her sitting services again for future trips.”

“Addison was so wonderful! She communicated well and sent lots of pictures of my baby. My cat is super weird but Addison did her best to get on her good side and eventually they bonded a lot. Super grateful and would use Addison again any time.”

“Absolutely thrilled with Sarah and the care my cat received. Sarah is attentive, reliable, and clearly has this natural way with animals - Django doesn’t warm up to just anyone, but from what I could see he was purring like a tractor in no time. Top tier service from someone with an equally top tier presence - something important when looking for someone to care for your fur baby. Would highly recommend Sarah to anyone needing a high level of professionalism and care, and I will certainly be a returning.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have always grown up with cats, so I’m especially comfortable with them and understand their little personalities and quirks. I truly love spending time with cats and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Over the past 5 years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and family, caring for both cats and dogs. I have experience with feeding, litter box cleaning, walks, playtime, and of course giving lots of attention and cuddles. I’m very patient, gentle, and reliable, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet loves to play or just wants a cozy companion, I’m happy to be there for them I’m currently in college, so my availability is in the evenings during the week and more open on weekends. Monday – Thursday: Available after 5 PM Friday – Sunday: Available all day I’m happy to be flexible when possible and will always do my best to accommodate your pet’s schedule and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to follow their routine and make sure they feel calm and cared for while you’re away. I’m patient and gentle, especially with shy cats, and I always respect their space. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“Chase was incredible! We received several photos daily and he made us feel comfortable leaving Ellie for a long period. I definitely recommend and we will be using him again! Thank you, Chase!”

“Kayla did an exceptional job taking care of our dogs and keeping us up-to-date on their behavior and welfare. We had not used a pet-sitting service before and were very happy with the care and enthusiasm Kayla showed on her visits to our home. She followed our instructions to the letter and went above and beyond our expectations in making friends with our dogs. We will definitely use rover.com again, because we know they were much happier at home than confined to a kennel at the veterinary clinic.”

About: Growing up we always had dogs in our family. My Experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for friends and families. I love animals and have over a decade of experience in caring for dogs, cats, horses, mules, donkey's and pigs. Now I just have my two dogs but the are like our family. I have 5 years experience caring for elderly dog (my own) that needed special care and medications. I am currently not working any other jobs at this time and will have plenty of time to spend with you sweet fur baby or babies. I have a fenced in back yard with 2 of my own fur babies. I love spending time with them in the back yard, going for walks and playing fetch. I live close to a nature trail with a lake and love to take the dogs for walks there. We love that outside time. Inside I have room to play with toys and chill with your buddies.
About: I have always loved all kinds of dogs, and have been taking care of them as a job since I was in College. Friends and family have entrusted me to wash, feed, walk, watch, and transport their animals and I am excited to expand my skills here on this app! I am currently working a part time job, so I will have plenty of time to watch your sweet pups! I am busiest on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s, but am still available both days with less availability. I work mornings so I am more than available every night/early mornings if needed! I am not able to host dogs in my own home, but am more than happy to spend quality time with your dog in the pleasure and convenience of yours! I love to be outside and love to go on walks, and I am sure your pup is too! I am more than skilled to work with dogs who are prone to getting loose/breaking out of their kennel and am always up for a new learning challenge!
“I really appreciate that we can feel confident that our pups are being well taken care of by Katelynn whenever we travel! We will continue to have her as our Rover as long as she is available! Thank you so much Katelynn!!”

About: I’ve been handling animals ever since I was 13, this includes cats, dogs, and even bunnies! (I had one that I let free roam). Cats and Bigger dogs are always a personal favorite but I truly love animals and even considered going into veterinary sciences! I can assure you, your animal is in great hands seeing as I have a cat and two dogs myself! I’m a virtual senior high school student with only two classes and my job only schedules me around two days each week, so I have literally all the time in the world to pet sit and I would love to see cute furry friends whenever I can during that free/down time! Whenever I’m at my Aunt and Uncles for up to a week dog sitting and house sitting for them, I make sure to feed both of their dogs and let them out at least every 1-2 hours especially after feeding them, and they stay outside for about 30mins-1 hour, but i don’t mind walking animals at all either! And of course I like to cuddle up with animals if they allow me too and give them play time as well as a little down time to cuddle up and be content!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Argo. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
