“Nubia was great with our 2 dogs! They had such a good time and were worn out from playing so much. Usually they are very depressed when we leave them but they seemed to have to much fun they didn’t mind us being gone! She sent pictures and updates daily. Would definitely recommend her!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I worked at a boarding kennel when I was younger. More recently I trained my dogs to work for TV and Photoshoots. I am available to walk your dogs or just let them out to play in your yard. Whatever your needs I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. Thank you in advance for choosing me. I love all animals as if they were my own. I am gentle and I am an experienced dog handler. I currently have a senior Jack Russell that has special dietary needs due to having a pancreatitis. My animals always feel safe, loved and protected.
“You hung is amazing! She is soooooo great (and her son is so ? . She loves dog very much, she gave Milkie a bath, walked Milkie every day. I missed Milkie so so much when I was out of the town, however Youjing sent me many photos and Video of Milkie every day and every time! I love it!! I will definitely choose her again! She is the best!”

“Ashley was excellent with our “gentle giant”! Not only did she constantly sent us pictures of his stay but she also kept us informed. We would definitively choose her on our next trips! Thank you Ashley for an amazing experience and for doing such an awesome job! YOU ROCK!”

“Mary took care of my dog Malu for two days. She sent me pictures and how does he do twice a day and I was very happy to hear about my baby. I really recommend her anyone needs to help. It was very sweet She put thank you card in Malu's bag and told us how she loved my baby. Thank you Mary and I will contact you again when we need❤️”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alexus was absolutely amazing with Smokey while we were away on our cruise. Smokey can be very nervous and anxious in new situations, and he initially refused to eat, but Alexus was patient, caring, and determined to help him feel comfortable. She showed him so much love and attention, and before long he was settling in and doing much better. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily updates, photos, and videos she sent. They gave me tremendous peace of mind and reassured me that Smokey was safe, happy, and receiving excellent care. It was clear from every update that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Honestly, Smokey had a better experience with Alexus than he has ever had at a traditional boarding facility. In fact, when we came home, his greeting was surprisingly underwhelming because he had been having such a great time! I highly recommend Alexus to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you, Alexus, for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby! ❤️🐾”

“Jamie and her family were great with our dog Leia. It was so nice to get a few pictures while we were away, as well as notes and updates about how she was doing! Thank you Jamie and family!”

“Brittany and her family are amazing! They are super flexible and understanding when we got into a last minute challenge and needed their care for our GSD. Gave regular updates and took great care of our Niko. Thanks!”
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have a deep passion for providing safe, loving environments for pets of all kinds. As a dedicated animal lover, I’ve personally rescued and fostered animals, which has given me hands‑on experience with pets of different temperaments, needs, and backgrounds. At home, I care for my two friendly dogs, Rose and Oreo, along with our four cats, Binx, Frodo, Samwise, and our foster kitty Ying. Because of this, I’m very comfortable managing multi‑pet households and ensuring everyone feels comfortable, safe, and included. All of my pets are well‑socialized and get along, creating a calm and welcoming environment for visiting animals. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day—whether that means playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just making sure your pet feels loved and secure. My long‑term goal is to open my own animal rescue, and every pet I care for is treated like part of the family. I work full time from home. I have flexibility in my schedule to care for pets such as feeding, medicine, frequent potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced in yard, dog gates for the stairs and master bedroom to keep the dogs out of areas they should not be in. I have crates for my dogs to sleep in or to stay in when I leave the house.
“Krystal was very responsive and communicative while watching Happy and tended to his needs while we were gone . We needed plenty of updates since our dog can be a bit anxious in new environments and she was able to provide that for us. I’ll definitely reach out again the next time we need a dog sitter.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Ardis Heights home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Ardis Heights.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Ardis Heights sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
