“This is Mocha's third boarding with Youjin. Youjin always takes care of Mocha as her family. Because of Youjin, we can out of town with worry-free. We will absolutely book with Youjin again! Thank you Youjin.”

“Mary was so great with our 4 babies! We had two little kittens and two dogs and she was so kind and went above and beyond to make them comfortable. We will definitely use her again 😊”

“Katlyn was amazing!!! She sent tons of pictures and kept me updated on how he was doing. I was able to have peace of mind on my vacay. 100000% recommend Katlyn for your dogs stay and she definitely has my business in the future.”

“We booked boarding for our golden (who still has puppy energy 😅). Damon and Danyale sent daily photos and even a video of them playing fetch with her. Grateful they did so well with Dixie!”

“Kip and Linda were SO wonderful with our girls! They were happy, and bonded perfectly with them! Linda and I texted throughout our trip, Kip messaged with my husband...it was truly perfect! Their home is beautiful and inviting, and a haven for pups! Thank God for these angels!”

“Jostyn went above and behind to take care of my puppy. I had a family emergency and she was quick to respond and was able to take him within a couple hours of my request and even kept him an extra night last minute. She sent photos and videos and updates and I was able to focus on what I needed to do and didn't have to worry about my puppy I knew he was being loved and cared for as if he was her own pup. Jostyn will be our go to puppy sitter from now on.”

About: I have extensive experience with pets from doggy daycares to grooming shops to vet clinics. I have been pet sitting and grooming for the last 10 years. My home is basically for my furr babies. They're allowed on the furniture even though they have 5 of their own beds and 4 little hidey houses. They literally have over 100 toys, all kinds, that they are willing to share with any pup they welcome in here. The house is theirs, I just live here and clean up after them. I work from home and I have classes that are mostly online so, I am home basically all day. I'll be able to watch the dogs all day and I let them go outside about every hour or so to go potty. I have a fenced in yard with a few chickens in the yard. I have an above ground pool with a floating doggy dock to make it easy for them to get out of the pool if they ever jump in but its usually closed off unless it is being actively used. I have 2 friendly shih tzu sisters that are spoiled rotten and 2 little kittens that love playing with the dogs. Dogs can go on all furniture and there are plenty of toys to play with. There are a bunch of dog beds and comfy spots for them to chill inside.
“We had such a great experience with this dog kenneling service! Our dogs seemed so happy and well cared for throughout their stay. We were kept updated regularly, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Due to circumstances completely out of our control, we had to add an extra day to their stay, and they were incredibly accommodating and understanding. The pictures we received were absolutely wonderful and really captured each of their personalities. We truly appreciate the care, communication, and flexibility. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place where their dogs will be loved and well cared for!”

“Eana was great! Very quick to respond and provided daily updates over the 4 days she provided boarding. She has a very strong understanding of dogs and provided a clean and welcoming place (house is very clean). This allowed me to be at ease over the past 4 days while I was gone. Would highly recommend Eana and will 100% reach out if I do come down to SD again.”

“Madison was so responsive! I expressed some concerns before drop off with my fur baby and she kept me in the loop every day. Got so many videos and pictures as the weekend went on! Love how much my puppy didn’t want to go home :,)”
About: Over the years, I have house sat for numerous friends and family while they were away on vacation or business trips. I genuinely love getting to play and take care of other peoples animals. You can be at ease knowing your fur baby will be happily waiting for you to return home. I also worked at a vet clinic for about two years taking care of small and large animals. Therefore, I am very comfortable with a wide array of animals. I do work a 40 hour per week job as a landscape estimator. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday I work from 7am-4pm. Tuesday & Thursday I work 9am - 5pm. Any time outside of these hours is flexible. I currently live in an apartment with my 50lb Labrador named Gus. This is why I am not offering in house pet care haha. He is definitely spoiled, but is crated during the day while I am at work so he does not eat my furniture. I drive home every day at lunch and let him outside to use the restroom. While I am walking your dogs I would like to also walk my dog. He is super friendly with other dogs and is honestly a big goof ball. If you request for me to take care of your animals in your own home I always care for them as instructed. Being, gentle, friendly, and loving with them is obviously apart of the job, but the specifics for feeding, potty breaks, etc is dependent on the situation.
“Angelica was absolutely fantastic with my corgi. She was very attentive and shared pictures and activities they were doing throughout the day. This is my second time booking with her and will definitely NOT be the last. My pup loves her.”

About: I have been a dog sitter for the past decade, including up to 5 dogs at the same time. I have a medium size dog at home that loves to play with others. I have had great success in teaching dogs new tricks and I also have experience in caring for senior dogs and dogs that need medication. I work evenings / nights during the week, therefore walks are typically in the early to mid mornings, especially on hot summer days. I have a fenced in yard with allows for running and playing. I also live within walking distance to a dog park! I have a fenced in yard and one dog at home. She is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. I do allow pets on furniture. I also try to have my dog play with an immersive dog toy for brain stimulation and reduce boredom. If you wish to have your dog in a crate I can do that!
“Hands down the best pet sitter for all my fur babies!!! My boy Enzo typically loses weight when I’m away and we had no issues this time. Delilah is old and annoying but she handled her with grace. Stella made herself at home and she embraced it. Highly recommend Solange!!!”

“Camille was very attentive to my baby, sent photos every day and told me what they did, she followed all my instructions. When I took my baby back, she was very happy, she was not bored at Camilla's and Camilla constantly took care of her. I highly recommend Camilla she is the best petsitter❤️”

About: Since I was 13 we have had dogs and animals in our home. I’ve trained them, walked them, fed them, and snuggled with them. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society walking dogs that spent their time there. I am currently doing school in the summer but if you contact me with times I can see if it works with my schedule! :) I currently rent a home and take care of my two pups there. I usually do stop in visits at my clients home and just take care of the animal in the way it is requested!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Aberfoyle home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Aberfoyle.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Aberfoyle sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
