I recently moved to the area, have two dogs with complex needs & have felt so comfortable leaving them in Stephanie's care. She's been helpful with medication administration, and has provided individually tailored support to both my elderly dog, and younger pup with behavioral difficulties. The dogs have a history of scuffles, and Stephanie has been able to follow along with the complex safety plan that I have in place. I've had a previous sitter reject my rescue pup because the dog was too traumatized and anxious. Not Stephanie! She was really confident with my anxious dog and was patient, participating in multiple visits just to get to know her prior to taking on dog walking while I wasn't home. Completely 100% trust and recommend her!”
About: I am a huge animal lover! I was a camp counselor at a daycare/boarding facility where dogs interacted and played together all day. I supervised up to 30+ dogs daily, and I have had hands-on experience with little and big dogs. I fed, cleaned, bathed, and administered medications that don't involve needles. I also have a lot of hands-on experience with cats and fish. I'm a huge animal lover, and I love children as well. I am not able to watch pets in my home, because of the pets I already have. However, I would be 100% willing to stay in your home to care for your beloved family member, or make visits. :)! I'm currently working as a 7th-grade English teacher in the Rockland County area from 9:00-3:40. I'm lucky enough to have awesome work hours that allow me to take care of pets as needed! Currently I can't watch other animals in my home because I have two cats of my own and a new puppy! All 3 of my animals are spoiled rotten! They have so many toys, tons of playtime, and the best of the best quality food and treats! I love my animals like my children, I even had a puppy shower for my new puppy! (Ask me for photos, and I will show you lol!) It's important to me, that your fur baby is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. About: I have always walked and house sat for friends and family members that have multiple dogs, cats, rabbits and more. I have my own dog for over a year, and had family animals for my whole life! I will follow your schedule and pets needs as you instruct. I am comfortable walking on a leash, letting out in a yard, bathing and giving medicine as needed.
