About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. I make the pets my priority when I am caring for them and I watch their behaviors so I can catch anything out of the ordinary. I follow feeding directions and potty schedules.

About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! I am currently home from school for the summer so am looking to fill the time. I work part time as a server a few times a week. During the day I often just workout, read a book, or hang with my own dogs. I have fostered a dog before and can adjust well to your dogs needs. I’ve practiced crate training, furniture restrictions, and other small training tasks. My house has an open yard which my dogs are free to run around in when they are not on leash to go potty.

Both dogs took right to Amanda. She supplied text and photo updates throughout our time away. She followed instructions to the letter and didn't hesitate to ask questions or suggest an idea if it came up. The house was spotless when we got back, and the dogs were happy. About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. Our family animals (our dog, cats, goats, Guinea pigs, birds, lizards, and a pony) fostered my lifelong love of animals. As a dog sitter, I have experience working with many different breeds and personalities. I have worked at a cruelty-free animal shelter, where I walked dogs, provided playtime, and helped take care of their living spaces. I have experience dog sitting in my home and understand the importance of helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. When your dog is with me, they will receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I am happy to take your dog on walks as often as needed and look forward to having a companion to play and cuddle with. On days I am not at school, I am at home, which allows me to give your dog my full attention throughout the day. I genuinely care about making every dog feel happy, comfortable, and secure, and I will treat yours as if they were my own. I am currently a doctoral student studying Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and my schedule allows me to provide pet care throughout the week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I am on campus for part of the day, but I am available for drop-in visits and dog walks. From Thursday through Monday, I study from home, which gives me the availability to provide your pets with plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. I live in a house with my parents. The upstairs level is my dedicated living space, which includes a bedroom, bathroom, and a living room area. Your pet will spend their time in this space with me! My parents have a cat that lives downstairs. They will not be living in the same space or have interaction. We live on 4 acres of property, providing ample outdoor space for play, exploration, and exercise. We are located on rural road, which is great for long walks. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

Full time job but available in the evenings and weekends to take care of your furry friends, whether that’s a potty break or a walk on my way home from work, or hanging out all weekend! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication, or any specific habits your pet is used to. During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, not just the basics. I keep their environment clean, refresh water bowls, and make sure they’re safe and comfortable before I leave. I’m also mindful of your home, treating it with respect and keeping everything just as I found it.
