About: “Compassionate Care for All Creatures – Big, Small, and Furry 🐕🐈🐴” Hi, I’m Virginia — owner of Virginia’s Haven LLC, where pets of all kinds are treated like family. From playful pups and cozy cats to barn animals and reactive dogs, I bring years of experience, patience, and love to every pet I care for. Whether you need daily dog walks, drop-in cat care, house visits for your senior pet, or even a calm hand during end-of-life transitions, I’m here for you and your animals every step of the way. I also offer pet taxi services to help get your furry loved ones where they need to go — vet appointments, grooming, or even just home from daycare. At Virginia’s Haven, it’s not just about pet sitting — it’s about creating peace of mind, compassionate support, and a second home for your animals. I’m available 7 days a week, all year round, including holidays. I know how important consistent, reliable care is — and I’ll always do my best to integrate you and your pets into my schedule, even during busy times. Whether it’s a last-minute walk, a weekend getaway, or long-term support, I’m here to help whenever you need me. 💖 🏡 How I Care for Pets in My Home At Virginia’s Haven, your pets are treated like part of the family — welcomed into a calm, loving, and structured environment where their comfort and safety come first. When caring for pets in my home, I provide: 🐾 Safe, supervised introductions 🛏️ Cozy, designated rest areas 🦴 Plenty of playtime, enrichment, and love 📆 Routine and structure to help them feel secure 🐶 Individual attention, especially for pets with anxiety or special needs I understand that every animal is different, which is why I tailor care based on your pet’s personality, preferences, and comfort level. 🐕🦺 Important Note About My Own Dog 🐕🦺 I also have a reactive dog of my own who lives with me full-time. She's incredibly loved and well-managed, but she does take some time to warm up to new dogs — we call her our nervous nelly. Because of this: I use slow, controlled introductions I monitor all interactions carefully I may keep pets separated until I’m confident they’re comfortable Your pet’s emotional well-being is just as important as their physical safety, and I’ll always make thoughtful, professional decisions based on what’s best for everyone involved. 💖

“Cat was fantastic! Took great care of my dog and was very responsive and informative. She even came ahead of time and did a meet and greet to make sure my dog was comfortable with her. I will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have always had a love for animals, but it was not until 18 years ago that I began to understand the difference between simply liking dogs and having a dog become part of your life. Buddy, a lab/husky mix that we adopted when he and our first child were both 10 months old, was a patient teacher for me and a gentle companion for all four of my children. Although we lost Buddy at age eleven to chronic Lyme disease, we have since adopted three other mixed breed dogs. All three of these dogs (Isaac, Pippin and Mowgli) are currently living with us, a family of six with children whose ages range from 11 to 19 and two cats (Ivy and Ginger). With each new dog that comes into our family, we learn more about breeds, behavior, training, and the differences in their personalities. Our dogs live WITH us, sleep in our beds, and even get away with some occasional begging at the table. They are LOVED and cared for by everyone in the house. When the time comes when all of us must be away from home for long periods of time (like vacation) my pet sitter is my best friend. I could not possibly enjoy being away if I had any doubts about them being well cared for. That is the service I would offer to my clients: peace of mind.

“Zach helped me out last minute was able to come check on my two dogs and give them exercise and care! He was thorough and easy to communicate with! I will definitely be using his services in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails. I have been dog sitting for the last 8 years and love spending time with all the pups. I can’t wait to take care of animals and give them the necessary play time and exercise when you’re not there to. I keep my schedule updated to where I am unavailable when I work to allow for your pets to get the utmost care. However I am willing to work with you around my work schedule! I have experience with reactive dogs and I will keep your dog safe and on a leash unless in a fenced in yard. I prefer staying at the dogs home to help them stay comfortable

I have experience with bathing, boarding, walking, feeding and shuttling to the vet. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes and can ensure you that they will have so much fun and love provided at my house, that they will never know you were gone :) Currently I have availability to board during the week, Monday through Friday and on the weekend 24/7 - as I am home & can accommodate any potty break schedule. . Both of my personal dogs can be crated if needed, as I introduce new animals slowly to mine to ensure they start off on good terms. All animals that come to my home will get plenty of love and making sure they are comfortable is my top priority.

I have specifically have experience with new puppies, senior cats, & energetic dogs. I’ve worked with many different breeds, energy levels while pet sitting for family, friends, and clients! I also have experience with taking care of different plants and gardens while house sitting! Im typical available most of the day including weekdays, weekends, & holidays . I am flexible and can meet the specific needs to tend to your fur babies, weather that’s long walks to get there energy out, or giving them their medication!

About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. I worked at a shelter for a short time before resigning to open my own animal rescue. Working at an animal shelter opened my eyes to so many issues and reasons why people surrender their animals. I am currently in the process of opening an animal rescue through fostering each animal while finding a forever home for them. In addition, my rescue will focus on educating the public on the responsibilities of owning an animal over its lifetime. Opening a Non Profit rescue is what I am doing in my spare time because I have to continue to earn a living to provide for my family. Dog/cat sitting is the perfect profession for me because I get to continue to work with animals on a full-time basis and I feel this is the area in which I thrive and can continue to help with providing the best care possible. Over the years I have learned something from every animal I have worked with and/or owned. In recent years, I have completed training in Behavior Adjustment Training and The DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK. I have the skills to know how to positively and appropriately approach animals as well as interact with them in a healthy way. In addition, I have the skills to quickly earn the trust of an animal. I am hoping that caring for animals will become my profession because I feel that I thrive in this area. Animals are the food for my soul and it would be a dream come true to work with them on a full-time basis. In my home and in my client’s home I practice what I have learned through attending dog training school as well as reading and practicing “THE DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK.” Through school and experience I have learned how to appropriately approach animals, how to interact in a positive manner and how to gain the trust of an animal. In addition, I have the skills to positively interact with animals that may have difficulty walking on a leash, excessive jumping and much more.

About: I cared for my dog Bear for 15 years until he passed last year. I have experience caring for senior dogs, giving medication, lifting and assisting walking. We don’t have a fenced in yard but we have 10 acres for the dogs to walk and play. I’m currently switching jobs so I will be available any day at the moment. Weekends/ holidays are no problem. My senior dog used to have to go out every 2 hours so I’m comfortable taking care of dogs at all hours. I treat pets I’m taking care of like they are my own. I keep a close on them and monitor them to make sure they are comfortable and happy. I want them to feel at home.

About: I have lived on my parents farm my whole life. While growing up I helped raise: horses, cows, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, you name it. About 5 minutes from my home is a humane society where I use to volunteer as a dog walker and foster. I have experience in birthing and raising kittens, one of which I chose to adopt myself. He is a sweet tabby named Bruno who I have the uttermost privilege of loving. I have a sweet spot for pit bulls but ultimately I love all animals unconditionally. If you choose me, I guarantee your baby ( or babies ) will get every ounce of my care and loving affection. When it comes to my daily routine, I work remotely and am blessed with a very flexible schedule. Therefore, I’ll have plenty of free time to entertain and care for your kids. I care for animals with my absolute full attention to their needs. I be sure to stick close to them so as to be certain they are satisfied and safe. :)

About: I've cared for puppies, poodles, a parakeet, pretty black labs, and purrrfect kitties. I loved them all like they were my family. Would love to do the same for you. I'm currently semi- retired so I will have time to take your fur babies for a walk and interact with them. They will be happy when you get home! I'm a stickler for making sure your pet pal has water, food, and treats. I can bath your pet if needed. Walking your pet will not be hurried, so your pet can stop and smell the roses, or whatever dogs like to smell. Oh I will always bring doggie bags to clean up.

About: I grew up with the company of dogs. I have had 4 dogs in my childhood home. Raised them all from puppies until their senior age. I have taken care of city dogs and farm dogs. Feed them, walked them, and administered medicine. I currently work a full time job, so I am available in the early morning or in the evenings before or after work. Weekends I have an open availability. I will make sure to close all doors behind me and be aware of my surroundings for the my safety and the safety of the pets.

About: I enjoy animals because just like humans, they’re all so different with unique personalities. I take pride in my patience and my understanding of the way some animals need more and some need less. I’m attentive in any way they need. Outside of having a good understanding of animals in general, I understand that they’re similar to children. We are who the animals look up to and having a safe and trusting environment for them to be in will always benefit the sitter and the animal. With that being said, any kind of safety or trust that is asked of me (or expected in general), I will go above and beyond to ensure. I am a hairstylist and I work part time in Stephen city Sunday through Wednesday. I have very short shifts so I can also be there for your animals before or after work. I am free Thursday to Saturday all day. I have a 90lb pit bull terrier mix in my home, I don’t have a fenced in yard. We walk him on a leash. I would never bring him with me to anyone’s home. As to having a safe and trustworthy environment I will treat your animals like my own. I’ve had my fur baby for almost 6 years from the rescue.

About: Hi! My name is Taylor and I would love to spend some quality time with your pets! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, and had a lot of experience with different types of animals. I’m open to any breed, and also any type of animal! My plan is to go to Veterinary school for a career, so i’m searching for any experience I can grab. I can offer love, kisses, hugs and more for your babies! We can’t always be home to show our animals the love they need, which is why i’m here to keep your animals company while you work, or cannot be home to do so! It would be an honor to meet all of the fur babies that I can! I am currently working 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday. I am available anytime before work and after work. I am also available all weekend! I am unable to sit any fur babies in my own home as I do have two cats of my own. I’m more than happy to keep your home tidy for when you return!

About: Hello! My name is Katie. I have been caring for animals my whole life from cats, dogs and fish all the way to large farm animals such as horses. I have a fairly flexible schedule and can provide drop in visits, walks, and overnight stays! She is responsible and caring and always updates us throughout the week with how our cats are doing. Our cats and house are well cared for and we always come home to happy pets. I would highly recommend her for pet, child, or house sitting!”

“Amy took great care of my dog, Daisy, while we were away. I got frequent picture updates and could tell Daisy enjoyed her time with Amy when she did not want to come home with us when we went to get her!”

Gianna S.
“Gianna and I grew up living on a farm with all sorts of animals like dogs, cats, horses, poultry, pig, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, fish, etc, so taking care of animals is a second nature to her and a natural talent she acquired by growing up on a farm. She has babysat dogs for families before and I witnessed her showing time management, responsibility, and care with those jobs just like all her other jobs cause she has great work ethic. She is dependable and has always loved animals. She also loves exercise so it is certain the dogs she walks will have fun and worthwhile walks.”

Patricia S.
“Hello, Patricia has dog sat on various occasions over the years for our Golden Doodle who is now six years old. We always found our dog to be in happy spirits after spending time with Patricia. Patricia was great at engaging with dog and walking her on regular basis.”

Julie B.
“Julie B. provides excellent dog walking and pet sitting to my 2 year old Doberman mix named Lexi. She personally has years of experience raising two dogs. Currently, she has a Pit bull and Boxer mix named Daisy that my dog gets along with. Julie loves and cares about animals, and that shows from how she treats Lexi and Daisy, but also as a biologist that protects sea turtles and sea life. So, I know my dog is in good hands while i’m away. After every walk, she reports on Lexi’s behavior and improvements she has made overtime. When she pet sits, Julie reports on what Lexi did throughout the day, and any funny behavior that she hasn’t seen Lexi do before. I haven’t had a problem with Julie, just positive experiences from her so I recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker or pet sitter.”

Lashawna W.
“I’ve known Lashawna for my entire life and for her entire life she’s been around animals, from volunteer services at the local SPCA to her own animals that she’s had over the years growing up, she’s always been able to bond with these animals in a very special way! Booking her to watch your fur baby will give you the opportunity to handle your business and feel safe knowing they are in good hands!”

Taylor C.
“Taylor would be a great sitter/walker. She has always been good with dogs, and dogs have always been good with her. Every chance she gets to pet a pup, she takes advantage. If I had to choose a sitter it would definitely be her.”

Katie F.
“Katie was great with our dog Tuck! We needed a sitter last minute and we couldn't be happier Katie was there for us. She was reliable, attentive and it seemed like Tuck had an awesome time. Tuck has medications and some special needs and she was able to accommodate and take care of him. We would recommend her to our friends and definitely hire her again!”
