“Arin did a wonderful job with our cat Lily who is not the most friendly feline. By the end of the week visits Lily appeared to warm up to Arin. We felt very confident in leaving Lily with Arin and will definitely call Arin again in the future to sit for Lily. Great Job!!!!!”

“Karina was great! She's a good communicator and was patient when our cat was shy. She sent lots of photos and asked good questions. Will definitely ask her to catsit for us again.”

“Cassandra was very professional from start to finish requesting a meet and greet prior to booking and communicating every visit. She sent pics during each session and my girls were happy and healthy when I returned. Highly recommend Cassandra!!”

“Nicole did check in’s with my cats for 6 days while I was away for Thanksgiving. She did an amazing job, and did everything I asked, and also made the effort to let me know about potential concerns, for example it snowed while I was away and she messaged me to let me know there was a potential of a power outage and she was going to check in to make sure they were ok. Communication was excellent and the pictures were so nice! I was able to be confident my cats were well cared for the entire time I was gone. She even noticed my cat’s ear looked irritated and let me know, which sometimes happens because of my cat’s sensitivity to food. I strongly recommend Nicole to anyone that needs someone to watch their pets, who will take care of your pets with love and care. Thanks so much Nicole!!”

“Kimberly was a great sitter for our 2 cats while we were away. She fed them, gave them fresh water, changed their litter and gave them attention. We highly recommend!”
“This was our first experience using Rover. Jon showed up on time for our initial introduction meeting and helped us to better understand the process. He took fine care of our cats and kept us informed as to how they were doing and sent us pictures for each visit. We plan to hire Jon again in the near future....”
“I’ve used Kathryn twice now for drop in visits. She is kind, responsive, reliable, and does everything I ask for help with. I have no concerns or worries when we are away and use her help!”

About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. When I owned dogs and other animals in the past, I make sure to tend to their unique needs whether that mean adhering to a medication regimen or putting them in their cage/crate as needed.
“Nadia is wonderful and we can’t recommend her enough. She is communicative, respectful, and legitimately cares about your animals. We look forward to working with her again!”

“Donna was wonderful. She really worked with my schedule which was very unpredictable. She took care of my three cats. She sent me pictures to keep me updated and when I got home, everything looked great. I would definitely book with her again”

“I highly recommend Lydia. Her calm energy is exactly what my dogs need. My lively dogs are happy and tired after her walks and drop-ins. What I appreciate most about my interaction with Lydia is her communication. She is proactive and thoughtful in the way she communicates. She asks for clarification and she anticipates any possible needs that may come up. It was great to see photos and get her updates when she spent time with the dogs. I feel confident she will carry out whatever we discuss. She is also reliable and timely. I would definitely call on her again!”

About: Fostering cats and dogs was my favorite hobby back in college. I will take care of your pet(s) with humbleness and consider their needs. To make it/them feel comfortable and happy is my goal. I can speak both English and Spanish. I get very excited every time I see a puppy or a kitten. Looking forward in taking care of your dog/cat with the same love and care I used to give my adorable senior dog before passing away on the summer of 2018. My evenings are available after 6pm during the week. A Drop-in visit example can look like this: I can visit your pet very early in the morning, go to work and come back in the evening for another drop-in visit. Whenever I care for your pet (or pets) at your home, I will make sure to cater for all of your furry friend(s) wants and needs.
“Sofia did an excellent job with my two kitties while I was away for Thanksgiving. She sent pictures and details of her visits every day, and I was very comforted that they were well taken care of. I highly recommend Sofia and will definitely hire her again for future trips.”

“Tatiana is the fairy paw mother! She took good care of my furry roommates and understood my anxiety of leaving them. I came home to happy well looked after cats.”

“Marlow was wonderful! I can't imagine how anyone could have done a better job taking care of my 2 cats. I have not been away from them for quite a while since the pandemic. Marlow regularly sent pictures that assured me they were being well cared for.”

“Summer is a great pet sitter! Before I went on vacation I met with Summer twice to ask her any questions that I might have and so she could meet my cat. The second meeting was for final instructions and the exchange of keys. You can tell when you meet Summer how much she loves Animals. I was away on vacation for almost two weeks, and Summer sent me daily updates on my cat along with pictures and videos. It made me feel better knowing my cat was in good hands. I would highly recommend Summer as a pet sitter.”

Aqueduct cat parents share their Rover experiences
Marlow took such amazing care watching our cats, especially with some snow hitting while we were out of town. Marlow was responsive, quick to schedule a meet and greet with the cats, and provided detailed daily updates with photos. I would absolutely use Marlow again for pet sitting!

Whitney has always treated our cat Poppy with a great amount of care and respect! Poppy has also warmed up to Whitney in a beautiful way which we have rarely seen with others. We trust her in our home and with our sweet kitty and are so happy to have her nearby to help out :)
