About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. As I always have said, the more I get to know people; the more I love dogs! I'm currently a student at home so, I am available to give your pet my undivided attention. I treat all animals as if they are my own, like family. I love to spend quality time with animals. I also have good hygiene. I believe this is important because we all know how dirty animals can be. I am gentle and loving.

Caroline accepted my super last minute booking during a travel that I had with my family. We had to leave for an evening and the temperatures were very hot. I wanted to ensure that my pets were cool, well taken care of, and had all of their necessities met. I just needed someone to drop-in and ensure they were well and had everything they needed. She definitely did that for me and sent me photos which I truly appreciated. It gave me a peace of mind and I would book check-ins with her again.

Leah has been dropping in to let our two rambunctious Golden Retrievers out in the yard while my husband has been away. They have taken to her immediately and I have no worries while at work. About: Growing up as a country girl, I've always had a deep connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. My experience in pet care includes looking after a variety of pets, from cats and dogs to farm animals like horses and goats. I ensure a safe and loving environment for all pets in my care, treating each one as if they were my own. My daily routine allows me to dedicate ample time to play, exercise, and provide personalized care, ensuring that every pet gets the attention they deserve. With a focus on trust and safety, I’m committed to making both pets and their owners feel at ease while I offer my services. I'm currently working for Uber part-time with open availability in the evening after 3pm Mon-Friday. Being self-employed not only allows me to make my own schedule, but I have a very reliable vehicle with lots of space. I've already been transporting dogs and cats with their owners for a couple of years now, and I've gotten wonderful feedback about the level of comfort their furry friends experience during transport! When your pet is in my care, they will be safe and well looked after. I keep a close eye on them and provide secure spaces for playing. I believe trust is important, so I communicate with pet owners to give them peace of mind. Your pet will get personal attention, lots of love, and fun activities, making their time with me enjoyable and stress-free. You can be confident that I will create a friendly and positive atmosphere for all pets!

About: Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kaylee and I’ve been a professional pet sitter for about 5 years now. Over the course of those 5 years I’ve cared for all of the following animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, hamsters, rabbits and horses. I’m in college getting an animal science degree and I’ve worked with a wide age range of animals. From puppies all the way to senior dogs and kittens all the way to elderly cats. *please know that while my listed prices are accurate additional surcharges may apply. (All prices will be disclosed before booking) I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

About: From a very young age I learned to care for pets and farm animals. In 4-H I studied animal husbandry. As an adult, I have had many dogs and cats. I love them as my family. My last two rescue dogs (American Pit Bull Terriers) made it to almost 13 years old before they crossed the rainbow bridge over the last few years. I am not ready for my own new family member, but I still miss the companionship of animals. So it just seems right to take care of yours. I am semi-retired, so I am free on most weekdays except Wednesdays. I get up early and do chores around the house in the morning, then go outside for a bit in the afernoons unless it is too hot. I live on 40 acres in the countryside. It's not fenced but I can take your pups for a great walk around the property on a leash. I have 3 spare bedrooms if they need quiet space. Or I have a kennel in my bedroom if they like to be with someone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t thank Holly enough for stepping in at the last minute to take care of our pets! She was incredibly understanding and accommodating with our sudden trip, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated how attentive she was to all of our pets’ needs and how she kept us updated with messages and photos—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Everything was perfectly handled, and our pets were clearly happy and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!

About: After years of watching and taking care of all sorts of animals. I’ve gained the acquired skills and insight to take excellent care of your fur babies. Other than caring for regular house pets like dogs and cat. I’ve cared for parrots, lizards, ferrets, hamsters and horses. During the week I work as a Graphic Designer and Fine Artist doing commissions. So, my schedule is pretty flexible. Just tell me your schedule and what you need for your pet and we’ll make it work just fine. My owners say I take really good care of the pets by listening really closely to the owners wants and needs. It is said if we pay close enough attention to the pets they can also clue us in on what is needed.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Anza

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 607 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Anza. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Anza. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
