My husband and I were at a pet friendly vrbo with our two dogs and found out that they would only allow one. He got back to me right away and was able to accommodate me. He and his partner took in our rambunctious rescue Dachshund Hans and took excellent care of him all weekend. Hans has high energy and separation anxiety and they were undaunted by that. They have a lovely home with a big back yard and two adorable dogs of their own who were great playmates. Photos they sent showed fun times and some good cuddling with the humans. I can't recommend these gents enough and will always get in touch with them when we come to the Palm Springs area with our pooches.”

She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Over the course of those 5 years I’ve cared for all of the following animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, hamsters, rabbits and horses. However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

I consider myself very fortunate to run my own small business and have the flexibility to work from my laptop. Furry friends and warm homes are an ideal environment for me to lightly work, and making sure your pets and home are loved, and safe while you are away. About: I recently inherited my aunt‘s dog after she passed away. She wanted me to have Buddy that’s his name (he is the dog in my profile pic♥️)because I am so good with animals. He is a senior dog and I’ve rejuvenated him. We walk every day, I make him fresh, fresh, food I play with him. He’s super happy and it’s like he’s got a second lease on life a pep in his step. This is what I can provide to dogs that I watch or sit or walk. Caring loving attentive care until their mom or daddy returns.🐶 I wake up around 5:30 am and give my dog a walk. I make sure we are up bright and early so that we can get a walk in before the pavement is too hot for him. Then I come home and feed him his breakfast. Throughout the day we s play or if I leave and when I get back I will chase him around our couch. Buddy loves that! I am very gentle and follow the rules to a T. If there’s any instructions or preferences on treatment or care for the animal, always make sure that’s my number one priority.

About: I don’t have issues with watching/walking more than one dog at a time. I’ve been pet sitting/house sitting for my friends/neighbor’s two dogs for the past 3 years. I have an 11 year old Shiba Inu who I love to death. Even though he can be a brat at time. My dog lives with my mom, so house sitting for you will not be an issue. I owned a cat for 10 years before he passed away. Other people in my neighborhood have relied on my to check in on their pets when needed. I’ve been around all types of breeds, big and small. Since I have a dog I know what pet care is like. - I have experience administering medications to dogs and cats. - I have taken care of dogs/cats of all ages - I can watch multiple pets at a time. My repeat family had two dogs and a cat I work full time down in San Diego. But I work from home three days a week so I can walk/check in on your pets during those days of the week. I can make myself available on weekends too. I will follow the care routine of your pet. I will cater to their feeding and walking schedule. I have a car so I can take them to dog parks (if requested) and vet appointments.

I know how important it is for dogs to feel safe and cared for while their owners are away and will give your dog all the love and attention it needs! I have a very flexible schedule which allows me plenty of time to spend taking care of your pet. When I do work, it's only for a few hours at a time, so I can stick with your dog's routine for eating and walking and such. I have a fenced yard with a bit of grass and one small senior dog who gets along with dogs and cats.
