We were a little nervous leaving Dodge with a sitter for the first time, especially because he is still a giant puppy with a LOT of personality and, occasionally, some questionable decisions. But Stephanie completely put all of our worries at ease. From the moment we dropped him off, she was incredibly patient, understanding, and attentive with him. She kept us updated throughout the entire day and sent us SO many adorable pictures, which made being two hours away completely stress-free. Every single update and photo made it so obvious that Dodge was having the absolute time of his life. He got to play with Stephanie’s dog and the other dogs she was watching, and he looked so incredibly happy and comfortable the entire time. She even handled his mischievous puppy moments like a champ — including him apparently deciding that stealing her shorts was a fantastic idea. The fact that she could laugh about his antics while still giving him such a fun, safe, and loving day means so much to us. When we came to pick him up, Dodge actually kept trying to go back into her yard! That alone told us everything we needed to know. He clearly had an amazing time and absolutely loved being there. As first-time Rover users, we were nervous about leaving our boy with someone we didn’t know, but Stephanie made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. We came home with a very happy, very tired puppy and so much peace of mind knowing he had been loved and cared for while we were away. I've had my own German Shepherd and pitbull now for quite some time, and I can say that truly are apart of the family As of now I have plenty of time to dedicate to this duty. I am full time student but currently in between semesters, and my reserve military requirements only takes up a bit of my schedule. Maintain a proper safe fence structure. Also a steel framed kennel that is 8x24 feet so my two dogs have plenty of space to roam about. I also allow my dogs inside at night time for a nice slumber.

I’ve always felt like animals have their own little language, and I genuinely enjoy learning their way of communicating. When a pet comes into my care, I like to meet them where they are. Some babies need structure and routine, some need a little extra patience, and others simply want someone to sit beside them while they decide you’re their new best friend. I follow the routines and care instructions their humans have created for them whether that means crate time, potty training, medication routines, playtime, socializing, quiet time, or plenty of cuddles. Their comfort and safety always come first. I’m also someone who naturally spends a lot of time outdoors, so I love having little adventures with my animal companions walks, fresh air, exploring, sunbathing, or just sitting outside together and watching the world go by. And my definition of a “pet” has never been limited to cats and dogs. I’ve cared for animals of all different personalities, sizes, ages, and species, including exotic pets. I find their little quirks fascinating and enjoy giving each animal the kind of care that makes sense for them. If your baby happens to enjoy a bubble bath, treats, an afternoon adventure, or an unreasonable amount of affection… well, they may have just found their favorite babysitter. I’ve jokingly been called the female version of Dr. Dolittle. I’ll take it. Really, I think animals simply know when someone genuinely enjoys being around them. And I’m very happy to be living in their world. Overnight stays are always welcome, too.
About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. As I always have said, the more I get to know people; the more I love dogs! I'm currently a student at home so, I am available to give your pet my undivided attention. I treat all animals as if they are my own, like family. I love to spend quality time with animals. I also have good hygiene. I believe this is important because we all know how dirty animals can be. I am gentle and loving.
