About: New to Rover but fully experienced with pet sitting ! I also work as a professional dog bather so I have plenty experience providing full time care to dogs ! As my line of work requires skills necessary to handle all sorts of dogs and am more than willing to handle larger dogs, senior dogs and anxious dogs (no limit to the amount of dogs you have at home). I feel that I am incredibly gentle with animals and find dogs tend to naturally bond with me. I have house-sitted for around 5 years now and am able to stay overnight to monitor your puppies ! I also have 2 dogs of my own named Selkie and Mooncake that I've trained myself so don't be suprised if your dog has learned a new trick by the time you are back ! While I do work full time as a bather, I am able to get part-time hours so I will be able to attend to your dogs full time on the days I am pet-sitting ! I encourage reaching out to me to work through the amount of time in a day you would like me to be at your home so I can plan my schedule accordingly. :) I understand it can feel nerve wracking to trust your dogs with a pet sitter at your home, and as a trust worthy house sitter I will follow instructions as given and be sure to provide proper care to your pets. About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!

About: I worked in boarding so I have experience caring for all different breeds, ages, special needs, and attitudes of dogs. I also have had 6 dogs total, so I am used to the dog life! I am available anytime! I am very flexible, although afternoons and evenings would be preferred, but both weekends and weekdays are not a problem at all. I am easily accomodating of all preferences for your dogs. Any special diets or playtime schedules are welcome. Every dog is different so just let me know! My dogs get walked 3 times a day and are used to going to the park or even just running around the backyard.

About: I have been a pet care giver for 24 dogs, 6 cats, some fish and farm animals. I have always grown up around many animals wether its little dogs, big dogs, cats, pigs, goats and bunnies! I absolutely love all animals, especially the big ones. I have done pet sitting, walking and administering medication for 5 years for animals other than my own. I work part-time, a few hours 3 days a week. My schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of availability for your furry friends. The day's I work I am home by 1-2pm and I have the weekends off to spend time with your animals. I have a fenced in acre for your pets to roam and enjoy. There is lots of turf, dirt and shade for our furry friends to run, play and rest. I have a friendly 3 year old golden doodle who loves to play and keep other furry friends company. I have a spacious and cozy room for overnight stayers and can crate if needed.

About: New to Lompoc. I have two cats and a 12 year old English bulldog/pug named PorkChop. Animals are like family in my house and I’ll treat your pup like one of my own. I work fully remote and outside of meetings I’m available all day long on weekdays, and my schedule is flexible on the weekends as well. I have a fully fenced-in yard with security cameras for when the little ones are playing outside. I don’t have any regular commitments keeping me out of the house for any extended period of time.

About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for 15 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals from dogs, cats, fishes, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a horse! animals require different training and attention but taking care of them throughout my childhood was the best thing ever for me! I have open availability! I’m able to take your dog for a morning walk and an afternoon walk. I can also bathe your dog after! I do require for dogs to have a leash and a collar for walks, if you have a stroller for your pet I can use that too if you’d like.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and appreciate the flexibility that Rover offers to care for your loved ones. I am reliable and will treat your pets in the way that you are most comfortable whether it’s while you are away on a trip or just need extra help. I work remotely and my dog Rufus is my favorite co-worker. I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to care for Rufus and your loved ones. We kennel Rufus at night in our home. We then walk him in the morning, feed him, and spend time with him. He is most lovable in the mornings. We have a dog run with shade that we use during the day if needed.

About: I have watched over pets basically my whole life. Growing up I have had an array of different pets. Dogs, cats, chickens, lizards, ducks, bunnies, snakes, goats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I love animals so much and love spending time and playing with them. I am also a very active person so I love taking dogs out on walks and to the park to play. I am working a part-time job that I usually only work during the mornings, but it depends on the week. It is a very flexible schedule though. I have a large fenced back yard, with two older dogs who are very sweet and two 1 year olds who are playful and energetic. If they need their own space I can create that in my home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child. I was active in 4H raising various breeds of livestock. I have been house sitting with pets for a number of years, in their home and in my own. I try to mostly book overnight house sittings on the weekends as I work full-time during the week.
