“Kara did an incredible job handling my anxious big boy. Talking through some things she was seeing and keeping me incredibly well informed. Her care and attention is clear to see from the moment she starts interacting to the conclusion of the visit. Many thanks Kara!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was a child. I have helped my girlfriend train our current dog which is a bernedoodle. He knows how to sit, shake, go to his pillow, and he is currently learning to roll over. I currently have a Doberman at my parents house that I help take care of while I am home. I am currently a dental student at Ohio state and I am in school from 7:30-4:00 daily but the weekends I am free. Some days I will finish before 4:00 but that depends on the week. I feed and water my current dogs and cats every morning and every evening. They get treats throughout the day when they exhibit good behavior and listening skills so they know that is a positive thing to keep doing it.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I’ve had Oliver (frenchie) since he was a puppy, so I’m used to everything from training to daily routines. He requires allergy medication, which means I’m comfortable giving meds and paying close attention to a dog’s needs. I also frequently care for my family’s three dogs (two Frenchies and an English bulldog), so I’m great at handling multiple pups and making sure each one gets the attention they deserve. I’m currently working 3rd shift, so if you’re needing someone in the morning to let out your furry pet I can! Or if you want someone home all day with your pet, that works perfect for me as well! I can do walks during the days (after a little nap). I would say I’m pretty flexible if told ahead of time! I live in an apartment and do have a dog named Oliver. Oliver pretty much gets along with other dogs! If you’d rather your dog not be around another, I’d be more than willing to stay with your pets! My cousin would love watching my dog. I love meeting new fur babies and would love to help whenever I can with whatever you need!
About: I work in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician assistant. I’m I am a recent graduate with a veterinary technology degree. I have about 5-6 years of experience in the vet med field. I will work with any dog, cat or rodent. I can medicate pets, I’m comfortable with cleaning up after pets. I do work full time. I am willing to do drop ins to where I let the pet out, feed, play with them, and medicate if needed! I am available every other weekend. If there is a specific time during the week needed I am always willing work things out! Pet care is worked into my daily life and career it is something I always knew I wanted to do in life. I provide a loving home for my personal pets and a safe place for my patients.
About: I have 18+ years of hands-on experience caring for animals and am based in Columbus, serving clients throughout the Columbus area and surrounding communities—making me a reliable option for consistent drop-in visits, dog walking, and in-home pet care. I grew up around animals and spent years working and volunteering on farms, which gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, routines, and individual needs. This background allows me to stay calm, observant, and adaptable in a wide variety of care situations. I primarily care for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies, seniors, and pets who require extra patience or specialized care. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions and maintaining your pet’s normal routine to keep them happy and stress-free in your home. I also have extensive experience with senior and special-needs pets, including administering medications (oral and injectable, if needed). I take a thoughtful, attentive approach and prioritize noticing even small changes in behavior, appetite, or energy. Whether you need overnight care, a midday drop-in, or regular walks, my goal is simple—**to provide dependable, low-stress care that helps your pet feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.** Pet care is a regular and intentional part of my daily routine. I structure my days and weeks around scheduled visits, walks, and in-home care so pets receive consistent attention throughout the day. I plan for morning, midday, and evening care, allowing flexibility for different pet needs while still maintaining reliable timing. When I’m caring for a pet, I prioritize their routine, comfort, and well-being, whether that means active engagement, calm companionship, or simply being present. Clear communication and dependable scheduling are important to me, and I’m always happy to coordinate specific timing needs in advance to ensure each pet receives attentive, personalized care. I believe pets feel most secure when their routines are respected, so I make it a priority to closely follow each pet’s established schedule, care instructions, and household rules. Whether I’m providing drop-in visits, dog walks, or in-home care, my goal is to create a stable, predictable, and low-stress environment. I take safety seriously and ensure pets are secure during visits and walks, remaining attentive to behavior, surroundings, and any changes in routine, appetite, or energy. I provide enrichment, exercise, and play based on each pet’s needs and owner preferences, and I always communicate before introducing anything new. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, tidy, and mindful of household security. I prioritize clear, consistent communication so you can feel confident that both your pet and your home are in dependable, experienced hands while you’re away.

I’m attentive and genuinely enjoy spending time with critters of any shape or size. I work as an emergency plumber, which gives me plenty of flexibility to check in on your little ones. I’m often available for odd hour visits. Your pet’s care is important, but so is your peace of mind.
